Ąžuolynas in Juodkrante

Viešbutyje patyrėme labai nemalonią patirtį. Mokėjimas per Booking buvo atmestas, pareikalauta mokėti per asmeninę nuorodą. Atvykus – papildomai prašė sumokėti už „upgrade“, nors tokį kambarį jau buvome užsakę ir apmokėję. Administratorius elgėsi grubiai, provikatyviai, grasino neduoti raktų, kontroliavo, ką galima neštis į kambarį. Pusryčiams vanduo kavos aparatui buvo pilamas iš gėlių laistytuvo (nehigieniška ir nesaugu), o pats maistas – labai skurdus, beveik nebuvo pasirinkimo. Visiškai nerekomenduoju. We had a very unpleasant experience at this hotel. The payment through Booking was declined, and we were asked to pay through a personal link instead. Upon arrival, they demanded an extra payment for an “upgrade,” even though we had already booked and paid for that exact room. The receptionist was rude and provocative, threatened not to give us the keys, and even tried to control what we could bring into the room. At breakfast, water for the coffee machine was poured from a flower watering can (unhygienic and unsafe), and the food itself was very poor, with almost no choice available. I absolutely do not recommend this hotel.

We have never been in such a terrible place before. Everything smells like mold, the building are old and in need of repair. The food served for breakfast looked pathetic, like leftovers. We didn’t even try it. Awful.

Be aware, they collect sensitive personal data. Conflicted persons like current employee at reception should not work in the service sector at all. Allow itself to terminate the reservation unilaterally in the situation of not giving the permission to collect sensitive personal data. The reviews at national company register rekvizitai.vz.lt show that conflict creation is regular business of this entity.

Rude and patronizing manager, not flexible, poor breakfast, eggs finished in 30 min… Service level like in USSR…

Paying this price for a room for 3 people and having one sleeping on a couch, having to make their own bed is indecent to me.
Otherwise the rooms are clean, the breakfast is fine and the restaurant proposes a cheap but good lunch.

Old appartments, reminds me 90s..nothing changed since then..

I think it is very overpriced. 1 night - 220 eur.. For 2 bed room. Rooms were unpleasant and smelly, no soap.

Be careful were you park your car.. We accidentally parked car inside hotels parking slot... Obviously it was somebodies allocated place without signs so somebody very angry decided to release air out of our cars tire...

Swiming pool their have is dangerous for small children.

It is also unclear how their manage personal data their collect during checkin as well. There is no possibility even to disagree not to receive marketing messages within that form..

Overall i would not recommend this place.

The breakfast starts at 9am, though it is written at 8:00 in the room. The water slide is under constant “cleaning process” and doesn’t work.
We’ve ordered the room with two double beds, but it was one single and one double, so they arranged one extra bed… the beddings and etc we had to do by ourselves, if course
The place needs renovation of everything, including attitude towards their business

The place is a monument to the times we had. 30 years ago. Not the best times. In serious need for refurbishment (demolition?). I would call it an economy stay, but 150 Eur/night doesn’t really put it there.
