Artagonist hotel is a great hotel to stay at. We were so glad we chose here instead of one of the big chains! Perfect cosy rooms and wonderful welcoming staff, couldn’t fault them one bit. We also left something behind and the team at Artagonist dealt with it so quickly and efficiently, sending it to us with no hesitation. Perfect location to explore Vilnius, we were able to walk everywhere and explore the Christmas markets with ease! Highly recommend!

I stayed at this hotel and was disappointed with the overall experience. I mentioned in advance that the stay was for my birthday, but there was no acknowledgment.
The first room was extremely small and uncomfortable for two people. After contacting reception, I was initially told there were no alternatives, and only after sending an email was I offered another room. The second room was larger but had a slanted ceiling, which was inconvenient.
The rooms are very basic, with no wardrobe, no real minibar, and no visible artwork despite the hotel being described as an “art hotel.” The elevator does not reach all rooms, so stairs are required. Breakfast was acceptable but with limited variety.
In my opinion, this hotel does not meet 4-star standards. Guests should be aware of this before booking.

Great location in the old town. Clean, modern rooms. Had a slight issue with road noise but they quickly moved me to a different room.

A perfect little gem in the heart of Vilnius Old Town!
We stayed at Artagonist for 3 nights in November 2025 and it instantly became one of my favourite boutique hotels in the Baltics.
Literally 2 minutes’ walk from Cathedral Square and Pilies Street, yet tucked away on a quiet side street (Pilies g. 34), so no noise at night. You step outside and you’re already surrounded by the most beautiful parts of the UNESCO-listed Old Town – Gates of Dawn, Town Hall, Užupis, and dozens of cozy cafés are all within 5-10 minutes on foot. Perfect base if you want to explore Vilnius without ever needing public transport.
Design & Vibe – wow factor
The name says it all: this is an “art hotel” and every corner feels like a curated gallery. The interior is brand-new modern with a playful twist – hand-painted murals, lithographs by famous Lithuanian artists, sculptural lighting, velvet sofas, and lots of dark green and mustard tones. It feels luxurious but not stuffy; more like staying inside a very stylish friend’s home.
We arrived late amidst a cold wet night. The night duty staff was extremely helpful and checked us in with minimum fuss. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly!

When I first walked into the room, I was amazed on how clean and well kept this room was. The bed is comfy, the shower is amazing, and the location perfect. I have stayed in a lot of hotels before and would choose this one again in a heartbeat. It’s also very quiet and on a small cobblestone street.

Modern hotel in the heart of old Vilnius.
Well maintained rooms and a very professional service by the friendly staff at the reception.
The rooms are quite, the bed is extra comfy and the most important is the central location.
I recommend this hotel highly and will come back again next time.

Our 4th stay, we are just amazed by Stikliai, the staff are so professional, approachable and helpful and the rooms are wonderful. We really enjoy the sauna and pool. There is a calmness about the place. I feel restored by a visit here.

Location is right in the centre of Old Town. Rooms are large & very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this beautiful hotel and I would stay here again.

Historic Vilnius Hotel with Charm, but Ready for Refresh 🏨✨
A legendary Vilnius hotel visited by many well-known guests over the years. The service is excellent — in the evening we even received complimentary sweets in the room. There’s also a private sauna, which needs to be reserved in advance.
Breakfast is great: a buffet combined with à la carte dishes, all of which were very tasty.
However, when judging by 5-star standards, the rooms are clearly due for renovation — the bathroom door didn’t lock, the TV was mounted crookedly, and the wardrobe doors were uneven. The spa area is also tired, especially the sauna.
Despite the wear, you can still feel the soul of this historic hotel, and it remains a comfortable place to relax.

We had our wedding at Stikliai Hotel and it was perfect! The venue is beautiful, and the staff were amazing – so friendly, attentive, and easy to communicate with. They made everything smooth and stress-free, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend!
