The hotel sits right in the heart of Kuching city centre, which made it super convenient for exploring. It's about a 5-minute drive (or a short Grab ride) to the iconic Sarawak River Promenade and waterfront area, where you'd want to catch the sunset views, street food, and evening vibes. Nearby attractions like South City Park, Sarawak Orchid Garden, and Jalan Padungan (famous for its street art and cafes) were all within easy walking or quick ride distance. Grab drivers were plentiful outside the hotel, and it felt central without being right in the noisy tourist core—perfect balance.

The room cleanliness was unsatisfactory, and the TV service was non-existent. We waited for hours for someone to fix the TV, but no one ever came. Ended up staying in a room without a TV.

It is incredibly frustrating when you pay for a relaxing stay only to be met with nickel-and-diming for basic necessities and a room that feels neglected.
When I requested additional bath towels, I was informed that I would be charged an extra fee. It is highly unusual and disappointing for a hotel to charge for basic hygiene amenities, especially when the initial provision was insufficient.
I would not recommend staying here until the management invests in some serious renovations. The hotel is quite old and clearly lacks proper upkeep. The wooden flooring in our room was loose and made loud, irritating noises every time we moved.

The hairdryer stopped working almost immediately after I started using it, and despite requesting an extra hairdryer online before arrival, it was not provided. The area under the bed was extremely dirty; we even found a used tissue. The cleanliness, especially in the bathroom, was severely lacking (check the photos). Moreover, the blanket felt damp, and the dirty sheets caused my friend's skin to itch throughout the entire night! Our booking was for a triple room, but we were only allocated two single beds. They then requested an additional RM41 to switch to a suitable room! Absolutely NOT recommended!

Very dated hotel. Not so good location in terms of what is around the hotel. They should clean up the fungus growing on the walls along the walkway to the rooms.
Big twin Double beds. The parking is on public parking lots but if you buy a booklet of parking tickets from them, they will put a coupon every half hour for you.

The lady frying noodles at the back portion doing a good job!

Ordered Ham and Egg Sandwich which turned out to be cold. I took one bite and don't feel like any more. Have to pack it home to heat up. Ordered Wonton Soup instead. It's just OK. Black Coffee is good though. Have to constantly guard against the flies which was very annoying.

Good breakfast coffee with most stall opening till lunch time. Have a good kitchen Capital Seafood that open from 5.30pm evening till 11pm everyday except tuesday.
