I think it would be nice if the hotel can provide guests with a basic toothbrush kit & slippers for convenience and comfort.

Beware of black mold (mould )in your bathroom. The front desk was able to find me a better room. If the bathrooms are able to get to this way, it's questionable if the Aircon has mold either.
It's late so I've accepted the room swap that she went out of the way to look for and offer. Unfortunately there's way to cancel and get a refund for the next two nights. I am figuring out my plans and will probably leave early at a loss.
The rooms require your room key for power for everything. The lights, Aircon, mini fridge. So while the mini fridge is a great amenity, I wouldn't plan on keeping anything cool in it as it gets to warm temperature while you're gone.
The location is fine, a lot of the rooms are facing the busy road so if you're a light sleeper beware.
I believe if the mold problem is properly addressed and care is maintained then it can be avoided. Whether it means daily bleaching or some other solution to prevent it from growing. I understand this is a humid country, but properly ventilated rooms as well as temperatures can prevent this from happening.
I do believe this could have been a good stay but instead it's a damper on the trip.
I've attached pictures of the first bathroom, there was a second room I got moved to with the same issue, and the room I'm in currently is the 3rd with pictures of it. An improvement but the grout is troubling.

The room just ok. The hotel near to Menara Taming sari and shopping mall. Staff is helpful and friendly. Parking is free provided by the hotel. Easy to get the food and drinks by walking distance. deposit rm50 required when you check in to the hotel.

Great location a few minutes walk to the ship museum and melaka ferry. There is also a hawker nearby that opens in the evening. Towels and body wash is provided, no toothbrush and toothpaste.

Had a good stay here with my besties. The room is clean but a bit cramp for 5 of us for queen bed, 2 super single bed & extra bed. Location is good as it's nearby to tourist attraction area, we just have to walk abt 3-5mins.

hotel clean . but room abit small . walking distance to mahkota parade and pahlawan mall. hotel can rent bicyle just rm 20-30 for whole day. But almost malay food . no chinese food at all

The room was well-equipped, spotlessly clean, and tastefully decorated. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. It's within easy walking distance of major attractions like the Red Church, Dutch Square, and Jonker Street. It offers excellent value for money and was also quite quiet.

Food are local, tasty and full of choices. Prices on the high side. Open 7 days a week during school holidays. Otherwise restaurant close on monday. Having air condition at one section but always full. Opening hours from 7 am to 4 pm. Having own motel above the restaurant.

Varieties of malay food like asam pedas, fried prawn, sambal petai and more. A bit crowded during lunch time but they have an air condition area. Recommended place to eat in Melaka.

The taste is very satisfying. Price is also reasonable. I recommend those who visit Melaka come here. It is a must. But it is very crowded.
