The hotel's location is quite good, with two malls nearby offering plenty of restaurants and a supermarket for souvenirs. It's conveniently located between Jonker Street and the Straits Mosque, about a ten-minute taxi ride to both. The room looked a bit dated, but the amenities were quite comprehensive. The family room had a bunk bed, which the kids loved. It was advertised as a 2.3m king-size bed...

Across the road there is mall with loads of shops and restaurant to hang around. Room is clean. Breakfast variety can include more. Lifts are too often busy and you need to reserve time for it.

Overall, it's a pretty good experience, especially for Malacca, it might be one of the better options. The hotel is about a 15-minute walk from the Red Square. They offer a shuttle service, but it runs every two hours and needs to be booked in advance. Also, the breakfast selection isn't huge and mainly features local dishes; I hope they can add more Chinese options.

location its a bit on the way side. not really in melaka old town. Grab is cheap in Penang though so not an issue. got a free cookie on arrival. has a sauna a gym and a pool (view from pool attached in picture). the points deducted are for the minor things - the room door doesnt close properly if you dont push hard enough. sauna takes quite a bit of time to warm up.

Service: The service was fantastic, especially the complimentary cookies for every guest, which were quite tasty. They also provided service in Chinese. Environment: The overall cleanliness was impeccable. The only downside was that the location was a bit far out, but it was quite close to a small island.

The room was very spacious, and we didn't even need to turn on the air conditioning at night. There are plenty of food options nearby, which was very convenient. Melaka isn't a large city, so getting around by taxi is easy. The views are beautiful, and our room had a stunning panoramic sea view.

Good for families with small kids because there is a mini water park. It's in an isolated area thus you definitely need your own transport.

The room that we stayed has leaking aircond and the breeze from it is not cold enough, it may be broke. The staff at the counter for getting swimming pool tags is not friendly. And I don't like the policy of under 6 years old has to pay for buffet breakfast.

Booked the junior suite with 2bedrooms and extended for another night. Room is extremely spacious and nicely decor. Front desk staffs were friendly and courteous. Their sound proof is very bad especially with connecting rooms. Light sleeper like me easily get annoy with next room since poor in sound proof. Can hear next door walking when using their shoes, kids screaming and also during close the main door. Pillow is very bad...too soft and sink.

The location of the hotel is good, very near to the downtown the heart of the city but the toilet is very noise after use. The noise come from the “ water hammering” effect of the pipe hose from the toilet water storage storage tank.

This hotel is really close to the train station, and there's a gas station with a convenience store right next door. In the mornings, you'll see tons of breakfast places. The lobby has some beautiful furniture. It's just over a kilometer walk to Jonker Street, and then you're at the Melaka River, the Red Square, and all the other sights. The whole city is so small, it's easy to get anywhere.

Cannot expect much as the room design a bit old. Especially the bathroom. But still okay. The iron board is there but cant find the iron. For the breakfast, waiting to get an omelte is too long plus the staff who do it not pratice good hygine.

The check-in and check-out process was smooth. However, the bathroom cleanliness was a bit unsatisfactory, and the TV was problematic – it was a Sony TV but came with a different brand remote, so I had to keep getting up to change channels. The breakfast menu was just average, similar to what you'd find at any other hotel or resort. The towels are also due for a replacement; they're quite frayed.

No slippers were provided, and when I asked for them, they charged me two dollars. There was no toothbrush or toothpaste either, but when I asked for those, they didn't charge me. Maybe it's a cultural difference, and I was too embarrassed to ask why, fearing I'd be laughed at.
