Holiday Haven Ukulhas Hotel in Ukulhas

Host and staff were friendly and the room was clean. They offer laundry services as well, which are reasonably priced. Unfortunately, they do not let you pay in cash in rufiyaa, it’s USD for everything.

I am subtracting one star for the following reasons:
-The tours offered through the hotel are outrageously overpriced. They offered a snorkeling safari (snorkeling at three different spots) for 70$. We then did some comparisons of providers on the island and found one that offered the exact same tour for just the two of us for 45$.
-Even though we filled in a form for our breakfast order in the evening for the next day, one the first day it was difficult to get what we ordered. We ordered pancakes with fruits and didn’t get fruits. When we asked, they said that they didn’t have any. They then went and bought some, which we appreciated, but they didn’t tell us and when they brought them, we had already eaten the pancakes. We ordered one coffee and one juice and got two coffees. Breakfast on the second day came as ordered.
-There is no window in the bathroom, so you cannot get in any fresh air and the bathroom remains wet and smelly all the time.
-There were some stains on the bedsheets and there was no room cleaning.

This guesthouse was truly amazing. We stayed here with my sisters and the kids ans the host Shafeeg did such a wonderful job at hosting. He arranged everything we wanted. His hospitality was unmatched. This place was clean and just one minute away from the beach. If you are looking for a place thats private and cozy. This is the perfect place. Love our stay in Ukulhas. It’s definitely one of the best local islands I have visited and will definitely come back soon.

I’ve spent just one night (my last one) here as my previous accommodation was brutally overpriced.

Guest house seems fine, you have everything what you need (apart of the fact that my room didn’t have any soup and shampoo which was fine by me).
Quite, close to harbour and beach.
Lucky who is managing this property is lovely, helpful and professional guy who answered all my questions, helped me with rucksack super early morning.

This is an intimate lodge on the island of Ukulhas, with only four rooms, in contrast to many of the bigger box hotels. The room is somewhat spacious, with high ceiling, lots of natural light, and very clean. The electrical and wifi are good, and the AC not bad. A nice breakfast is included with the stay. Mattresses are very comfortable - a rare instance where you actually have a mattress top. Staff is very helpful with any needs you may have.

The hotel is located in the middle of the residential island, about 7-8 minutes' walk from the best northern beach where you can swim. The hotel service is very good, providing simple breakfast, and the kitchen is also available for guests to use. The room was clean, had air conditioning and a fan.

We 've been there in the period of end of Feb - begin of March 2022. Great place to stay and enjoy the rest. Lakey - manager of the Hotel is extremely kind, responsive and accurate to all your needs/requests. Beach - is just 50 metres away from the hotel, fantastic place and very comfortable to enter for the whole family. We've taken Breakfast+Lunch option. place where the cok food - is also fantastic. We'were happy with all dishes + milk shakes - smth extra!!!
Definitely nice place to stay for the family.

We spent a wonderful Christmas holiday here. The service at the hotel was very good. The owner is very active, polite and helpful. The hotel offers sun loungers in a beautiful place on the beach. They also provided us with covid tests before departure. The coral reef is truly beautiful. We definitely recommend the hotel.

The Property owner was very kind and friendly. We got activities like Manta Ray watching, Snorkeling and Sand Bank. Only downside side is everything in this island is Damn expensive. To give you a rough idea I paid 500INR for just two glass of orange juice and I hope how much it would get if you eat Lunch or dinner. Island is very cleans and we'll maintained and also the beach is perfect. It costs 35-50USD from Male Ferry Terminal to Ukulhas island.
