The owner unfortunately made our stay at this nice guest house stressful, so I wouldn't recommend it. Communication with the owner was constantly slow & confusing (responses taking 2-48 hours). On arrival in Malé we discovered the owner never booked the speedboat as agreed over WhatsApp, so it was luck that got us to the island when we arrived at the airport (full boat). Then mid stay the owner told us we needed to move hotel (no reason given), causing a lot of stress as the island was fully booked and wasted a day of short vacation. Aoulad who works at the property was amazing and tried to ensure we had a nice time and helped us to find similar accommodation.
Despite the issue we experienced, the guesthouse itself is very nice with big, modern / very clean rooms. The breakfast is at a restaurant 5 mins walk from the property, the breakfast is good but slow and they forget to bring things (tea & coffee served just as we were leaving twice).

Quite a small hotel, but very well maintained. The person running it was very attentive and kept everything very clean. It is ideal if you are traveling with a small group, as was our case.

I recently booked a 5-night stay in a deluxe king room at Island Home Ukulhas through Agoda.
However, when we arrived there, they said there were no rooms available and guided us to another accommodation.
The room there was very small and it was the cheapest room.
They told us to cancel with Agoda if we didn't like it, but we had no right to refuse.
They take advantage of the fact that it is difficult to reserve other accommodations on the same day, so they overbook and guide guests to other cheaper accommodations when they arrive.
I have complained to Agoda about their behavior and I want them to be sanctioned.
I will never visit again.

Aoulad was helpful. TV service wasn't paid, But there is WiFi. There is smell of sulfur from water, great price for the location and services. We Will visit again. You should to Maldives for mor the 7 days if you are coming from far away.. kind and amazing service.

We stayed for 4 nights and everything was great. Staff super friendly. Good breakfast in nearby restaurant. Comfy rooms with great shower. Would recommend staying here while in Ukulhas.

We had a lovely time at the Island Home! The staff are incredible, attentive, and friendly. The location is great–you're right next to the beach and very close to shops and restaurants. The beds are comfy, the showers are great and have good pressure, and so on. The wifi was a bit spotty at times, especially during storms, but why be on the internet when you're in paradise anyway?

Really nice place. I have stayed in a number of guests house across the Maldives and frankly this place is really nice. Rooms are well thought out, clean and mostly very well maintained.
The whole place is nicely organized, staff is really friendly and helpful.
The island as a whole is super clean and the Sea so close by is great for snorkeling... Saw plenty of small reef sharks, turtles and the like.
