I deeply appreciate the effort the staff put into making my stay pleasant. I want to give a special thanks to Smarika, who handled my breakfast; her kindness and care ensured a great start to every day. I am also grateful to the hosts for the gesture of upgrading my room at no extra cost, allowing me to enjoy natural light. A truly hospitable attitude that I salute.

I spent 1 month at Beach Veli while I was doing my Divemaster course with Dive Ukulhas. I was very happy staying there. My room was clean and quiet. I had the local breakfast option everyday, it was delicious! Karissa and Krishna were around everyday always saying hello and asking if I needed anything. It’s in a nice location, near a lot of restaurants and straight across from the nicest beach on the island! My room was clean, quiet and comfortable. I would definitely stay at Beach Veli again!

The Guest House is just a few steps away from the beach, on the side of sunrise. It has the best part of the beach at this time of the year and the shadow from wild hibiscus trees where you can have the shade during the midday. I stayed from 24th till 9th January 2022. Met some very beautiful guests who were staying there and it was a lovely environment. The host, Mandy is simply amazing. She is part of the guests and enjoys every activity with guests especially in the water which gives you a far better experience than being alone or with other general guides. The house reef is simply amazing. just a few strokes away from the shore in front of the guest house where you can surely see at least 3 to 4 turtles and a few friendly sharks along with Nemo and colourful parrotfishes and so on. Had a lovely two weeks on Ukulhas staying at Beach Veli.. staff were very efficient , friendly and helpful and the owner was fantastic... Tohl went out of his way to ALWAYS make sure everything was perfect... you name it - Swimming with Manta rays, Swimming with sharks, Whaleshark tours, night fishing.... he organised everything effortlessly... he also has a dive school which we will definitely use next time... thanks for being such a wonderful host Tohl... see you again next time when i bring the daughters and their families... :) Zahn and Scott

The people working at this beautiful little Guest House are putting a lot of Love and effort into making your stay as comfortable as possible. Comfy beds, delicious breakfast, and they will help you with anything! Located 5 Meters from the beach! I wish i could stay longer. ♥️ Come here if you look for a authentic personal touch

Nice, small accommodation close to the beach. Sea is just few steps through the tropical vegetation. Rooms are nice but no windows which is weird but looking around it seems typical local constraction type. Buildings are attached to each other. AC needs to run permanently because of the high humidity. Breakfast need to be chosen the day before (3 kinds: typical Maldives, continental and pancake). Breakfast served with fruits, 1 glass of juice and coffee/tea. Not so lavish but enough. Staff is very nice and helpful.

Beach Veli is the perfect home base on Ukulhas island! Mandy makes Beach Veli a welcoming home in the Maldives and gives expert advice on any excursions you may want to take (and they are great prices, as well). We loved the manta snorkel and the sandbar trip.

We had one of the front-facing rooms and loved it—lots of light, super quiet, very comfortable. The beach in front of the hotel is lovely, with both sun and shade options. They have options for breakfast, and the Maldivian option (Mas Huni) was the best I had in my entire time in the Maldives—I miss it!!

Mandy and Beach Veli do their best to reduce plastic waste, providing guests with glass bottles of cold water and large, refillable soap/shampoo containers in the bathrooms.

The snorkeling in front of the hotel is super, we saw turtles, starfish, even some sharks.

If you’re looking to stay on Ukulhas, this is your spot! Mandy is a fantastic resource and made our stay just wonderful.

Beach Veli is a warm, well-located, value-for-money property on Ukulhas. Aside the beach right in font of the Veli thriving with marine life which (makes it great for snorkelling), it is also situated very close to all the restaurants. Mandy is a friendly host and is highly resourceful with respect to logistics and arranging activities and will ensure a comfortable stay. Highly recommend for divers :)
