Brennia Hotel in Raa Atoll

We spent a week at Brennia Kottefaru with my partner and family and had the most wonderful time.

The island is stunning. Crystal clear water, soft white sand, and incredible snorkeling right outside the villa. Being able to step out the back door and swim among thousands of fish was surreal.

The staff truly made the experience special. A huge thank you to Kabita at Lime Restaurant for being so kind and lovely, she made every meal feel extra special. Also thank you to Jen at reception, Oliver, Kevin and Pryanka at La Pella Bar, Sanjay for keeping our room perfect, and Asbaab the manager. Everyone was warm, professional and genuinely caring.

The resort is truly wonderful. The beaches are stunning and we loved our ocean pool villas. Snorkelling at the house reef was excellent. The food in the restaurant was consistently exceptional. The service you receive from every member of staff you encounter is outstanding. I would definitely recommend this amazing place.

This resort is perfect for disconnecting and enjoying the area's marine life. You can see sharks and manta rays in the water, and turtles on snorkeling excursions. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful; I'd especially like to highlight Jalal's kindness and hospitality. It was a pleasure to be here for our honeymoon, and I wholeheartedly recommend experiencing it here.

Stayed here last week and it was a fantastic break. The island is beautiful and we stayed in a water villa which was perfect. Getting up in the morning and straight into the sea for a snorkel and saw lots of different fish. Hopefully we can go again as it was very perfect.

Our stay at Brennia Kottefaru Resort was amazing. The resort is beautiful, with crystal-clear waters, pristine beaches, and excellent scenic beauty. We stayed in a Deluxe Ocean Pool Villa, which was spacious, luxurious, and perfect for our family.
The staff were warm, attentive, and very professional, making our stay truly comfortable. Food quality and variety were excellent, and the overall atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing.
Highly recommended for families and couples looking for a memorable Maldivian escape.
Seaplane airport transfer—truly another great experience.

We spent a total of three weeks on the island, and it was a truly wonderful vacation. The food was varied, and even as vegans we always found plenty of options to enjoy. We were especially impressed by the staff – Mr. Didarul from the buffet, as well as Oliver and Sara from the bar. They were always friendly, cheerful, and smiling, and made us feel very welcome.

The water is crystal clear and absolutely beautiful. We stayed in room 616, which was cleaned every day. We lacked nothing during our stay and felt completely comfortable throughout our time at the hotel.

We stayed at Brennia Kottefaru for our honeymoon from 28th August to 3rd September , and it was absolutely amazing! ✨ From the moment we arrived by seaplane to the moment we left, everything was perfect. The island is huge, stunning, and surrounded by the most beautiful turquoise water.

A special shoutout to Mr. Dhananjaya a Sri Lankan manager who guided us throughout our stay. He was incredibly kind, helpful, and made us feel right at home.

We stayed in both a Beach Villa with Pool and an Ocean Villa with Pool both were beautiful with incredible ocean views and total privacy, exactly what we wanted for our honeymoon.

The buffet had plenty of variety and we loved the nightly themed dinners. Shows like fire shows, Maldivian night, DJ night, and magic shows kept us entertained every evening. Our all-inclusive package also came with unlimited mocktails and coffee which was great!

We went on a sunset cruise and tried snorkelling for the first time such a lovely experience near the house reef. The staff were amazing, always checking in, refilling the mini bar, fresh towels, and quick service through WhatsApp.

Even though we missed kayaking and paddle boating due to rough seas, everything else more than made up for it.

Our honeymoon was unforgettable thanks to Brennia Kottefaru. Highly, highly recommend! ❤️🌊

We booked our stay via Bluebay Travel and we’re so glad we chose Brennia Kottefaru when they gave us the choice of 3 5 star resorts. From the very moment we landed in Male, the customer service was top notch. We were met by a Brennia representative who personally took us and checked us in for our Seaplane Transfer. We were then waiting in the seaplane lounge for about an hour being departure but free food and drinks were in the lounge waiting for us! The seaplane was a great experience. It was a 40 minute journey and the views are spectacular. Upon landing we were again greeted with a very friendly welcome from the team and personally checked in by Suzy. We had downloaded the Brennia App and already did most the check in elements but the app was very useful to find out daily entertainment, excursion and spa facilities with prices. The food in the buffet is brilliant and each day is a difference theme (Italian, Maldivian, seafood, Arabic, BBQ, Mediterranean, Asian) the same goes for the evening entertainment too which will change from DJ to live Singers to Fire Dances to traditional Maldivian drumming. We stayed in Room 609 which is an Ocean Water Villa. An absolutely stunning room. Housekeeping were also fantastic. We requested for the Coke in the fridge to be changed for Diet Coke and they made sure this happened every single morning going forward. I’d advise taking water shoes if you’re going to use the access to the sea from your water villa and be very careful on the stairs as it’s very slippery. The bar staff were ridiculously attentive! Top class service especially from Sara and Oliver who served us the majority of the time. I’m sorry for not knowing the names of the others as every single staff member we encountered was truly brilliant. We had a half hour photoshoot with Seby on our first who managed to capture me proposing to my girlfriend. The photos was brilliant and we’re looking forward to getting the printed! All the photos with fully edited and sent to my phone via AirDrop within 3 days! We did the Sunset Cruise and Snorkelling. Again the staff here were professional and with a high level of customer service. We used the spa a couple of times and again it was fantastic experience for us both. What I really liked was being able to book experiences via the app but even if we booked them in person at reception we could still keep track via the app! A truly memorable experience.
