A wonderful place with wonderful people ! ✨🌴

We loved every minute of our stay.

There is so much to do between the house reef, the activities and the spa.

Massages are fantastic ! They really know what they are doing ☺️

All restaurants serve great food. Our favourite was the vegan option Sala. Such creativity and love was put in each of the dishes. Service was fantastic and Amila always gave us great suggestions.

The Bar is the best place for amazing sunsets and the staff is friendly and always smiling.

Snorkelling around the house reef is fabulous. There is everything you expect to see: sharks, turtles, rays, colourful fish, and nice corals.

Dive shop is amazing. The equipment is in great condition, the boat is immaculate and very comfortable and the dive instructors are very friendly and knowledgeable.

Cycling around the island makes it so lovely.

Anas our butler was helpful, very responsive and always smiling. Nothing was too much trouble for him, thank you !

We can only recommend this wonderful place and we hope to come back !

All the services were good. Our Butler Ajaa responded to any requests very quickly. The restaurant staff was friendly as well. The food at the Ben Jarong restaurant was delicious and served very quickly. The beef and lamb at the Seagrill restaurant were absolutely delicious. When choosing a hotel in the Maldives, it's essential to pinpoint your priorities. Having previously stayed at a lagoon island in Fiji, and now seeing the stunning lagoons at Filitheyo in the Maldives, my focus for this resort experience was on the holiday vibe, dining, service, and snorkeling. Dusit Thani Maldives completely exceeded our expectations in all these aspects. The sea in front of the Ocean Villas was a true 'glass sea,' and the views from the various restaurants were also excellent. What truly stood out was the hotel's service, which surpassed any hotel I've stayed at before – incredibly attentive and thoughtful. I highly recommend Dusit Thani for those prioritizing a relaxing holiday. If you're new to island travel, consider choosing a lagoon island to experience breathtaking ocean colors.

We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The staff have been fantastic, all professional, kind and extremely friendly. Our butler Saleem is top notched and has a gentle and patient disposition, very well suited to his role. Olivia the executive chef is welcoming and brilliant, great food, thank you. The bar staff are friendly and personable. The rooms are great and well furnished and functional, very clean and spacious. I love the garden shower. The bicycles are a nice touch and a great way to get around. The reef is amazing, a total Maldivian paradise. Snorkling is a true adventure, the area we have snorkled in daily, is from the dive centre to the Sala restaurant, it is exceptional, but I feel it is for more experienced swimmers. There has been a current and quite a big swell most days. In the lagoon area it is calmer, with a few nurse and reef sharks. The pool is beautiful and deceivingly large, great at sunset. The market restaurant has a great buffet, the Thai restaurant was fantastic and also the grill restaurant. The gym is basic, and could do with updates, but we trained daily, so its manageable. The welcome at the resort let us down, and I think is the only part that needs addressed. We arrived in Maldives, having stayed at Constance Moofushi previously and JW Marriot before. The service on arrival is far less than these two other resorts, and definately not in line with the resort. We paid through Dusit Thani for our sea plane 500 dollars each (very expensive but Moofushi is similar) however, when we arrived we were then asked to pay a further 50 dollars in overweight, as they weighed hand luggage and hand bags. We were never notified by Dusit Thani of these details or the process, if we had known we would of organised the weight differently. We were showed by a Dusit Thani representative to a regular bus, (nothing like Moofushi or JW Marriot)that took us to the sea plane terminal airport. Here we were left by ourselves and had to figure out that we needed to pay the overweight before boarding passes were issued. We then had to find the Dusit Thani resort lounge. Serve ourselves refreshments, snacks etc. The first impression of the resort is severly lacking and not a reflection of the class and the treatment that we were later showed and experienced. We really loved our time here, I can not recommend it enough.

We had a very pleasant stay overall. Our experience started with a few minor issues, but the team was quick to respond and resolved everything professionally, which made a big difference. From that point on, we were able to truly enjoy our time here. The boutique hotel has a lovely atmosphere, and we were impressed by the level of care and attention to detail from the staff. Every interaction felt genuine and friendly, and the service was consistently excellent throughout our stay. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay.

The food was excellent; I recommend an all-inclusive package. The snorkeling on the Thai restaurant side was fantastic, while the waves on the overwater villa side were a bit too strong for beginners. Overall, it was definitely a worthwhile vacation. The butler was very polite and provided excellent service; any problems were resolved promptly.

Dusit Thani Maldives: A Slice of Thai Paradise in the Indian Ocean

Returning to Dusit Thani Maldives always feels like coming home, a true testament to what makes this Thai brand so special. The hallmark of gracious Thai hospitality is present in every moment, from the warm welcome to the thoughtful touches throughout the stay.

I stayed in one of their water villas, which was spacious, beautifully appointed, and perfectly balanced between luxury and comfort. I was delighted to find Diptyque amenities in the bathroom, my absolute favorite brand, a small detail that made a big difference.

Breakfast was another highlight. The spread was simply amazing with a wide variety of international and Asian cuisine, all freshly prepared and beautifully presented. For lunch, I enjoyed the Sea Grill, where the combination of great food and stunning ocean views made for the perfect midday indulgence.

But what truly made my stay unforgettable was dinner at The Bunkering. We ended up dining there every single night, and as a Thai, I have to say their authentic Thai food is beyond exceptional, possibly some of the best I’ve had outside of Thailand. The service was equally impressive; Khun Rungnapa and her team went above and beyond to make every meal special.

Finally, the house reefs around the resort are breathtaking. I saw a vibrant array of fish and even a few turtles, making each snorkeling session magical.

Dusit Thani Maldives perfectly blends Thai charm with Maldivian beauty, a place where luxury feels personal, nature feels close, and every detail is delivered with a smile. I can’t wait to return.

The Ocean Pool Villa starting with 4 is amazing! It has a great view and a net bed. It's close to the Western restaurant, bar, and infinity pool. The butler service and meals are also very good.
