Kudadoo somehow managed to exceed our expectations on our second stay—something we didn’t think was possible after our first visit. From the moment we arrived, everything felt even more seamless, thoughtful, and personalized. The food was outstanding throughout our stay, again even better than our first stay. Every meal felt like a curated experience, with incredible variety, flawless execution, and genuine attention to our preferences. What truly sets Kudadoo apart, though, is the service. The entire team operates at an exceptional level, always warm, attentive, and intuitive without ever feeling intrusive. A very special thank you to Saffah, who went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable—your kindness and attention to detail made all the difference to us. We also have to give a special mention to the spa team. The treatments were world-class, pure serenity. Every treatment felt deeply restorative and added another layer of magic to our experience. Kudadoo continues to redefine what luxury means to us. Returning felt like coming home—but better in every possible way. We’re already dreaming about our next stay, which we have already booked!!

Our second time in Kudadoo and it’s as perfect and amazing as we remembered it the first time we came here in 2025. Our butler, Mr Saeed, was excellent. He communicated, adjusted our itineraries and made arrangements for the activities we wanted to do in the resort. We can’t think of trying another new resort in the Maldives as Kudadoo raised the bar so high I think it’s almost to find a resort as good as this. No wonder majority of the guests are returning guests. We can’t wait to come back and stay here longer next year and for the many years to come. Kudos to all the wonderful staff and management of Kudadoo.

We spent 10 days at Kudadoo in April. When choosing a resort in the Maldives, we always look for a few key things: a spacious terrace with plenty of shade, a good house reef, a peaceful atmosphere (no entertainment programs or similar), and personalized, attentive service. We found all of this at this private resort—so we can wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a similar experience in the Maldives. Standout strengths: 1) Tailored daily experiences We are usually not “all-inclusive” travelers, as the quality of food and beverages & service often suffers. That was absolutely not the case here. We found the “anything, at anytime, anywhere” concept extremely compelling and executed at the highest level. Each day is entirely customized to your preferences. Just a few examples: there are no fixed restaurant hours or assigned menus. Breakfast is served whenever you feel like it—and if, like us, you only want a coffee in the morning but crave something from the breakfast menu at lunchtime (Eggs Benedict, mango smoothies), that’s absolutely no problem. Yoga or fitness sessions aren’t scheduled either; they take place whenever you wish, and with a private trainer. And if you’d prefer a massage or pedicure in your villa rather than at the Spa, the highly skilled practitioners will come to you. Each residence is equipped with two massage loungers, making it easy to relax in total privacy. We truly loved our daily massages! 2) Butler service Most five-star resorts in the Maldives offer a villa host, but Kudadoo takes this concept to another level. Preferences are collected in advance—from mattress toppers to water sports—and your dedicated butler (in our case, Naajy, perfect & seamless service!) prepares an initial plan before you even arrive, which can of course be adjusted on-site. While delivering lunch, your butler might also quickly tidy up, neatly arrange a few things—there’s always a discreet, attentive eye on the villa. After lunch, a short WhatsApp message is enough for everything to be cleared away promptly. The service is seamless and never intrusive. 3) The residences The villas are very spacious, with high ceilings and a tasteful, understated design. The terrace is wide and generously shaded, offering beautiful, open ocean views. In some resort overwater villas, you can feel boxed in by neighboring structures—but here, any visual barriers are minimal and well spaced. Housekeeping is excellent, with service twice a day. It’s not just a quick clean—everything is carefully arranged, from the fins by the pool to the toiletries in the bathroom. 4) Service & friendliness From the exceptionally friendly bartender who mixes drinks exactly to your taste, to the experienced evening waiter (Abdulla—great guy), the team consistently delivers warm, attentive service. My husband and I chose Kudadoo for our 50th anniversary celebration trip. We were more than pleased with our choice. Everything about this island resort was 5 stars. The facilities, the staff, the spa, our residence......perfect!! If you have an opportunity, GO!! Well worth the money!

We have just returned from the most incredible stay at Kudadoo Maldives, and it truly exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed like family and immediately felt the calm, exclusivity and luxury that Kudadoo is known for.

Our butler, Hussain, was truly exceptional and played a huge part in making our stay unforgettable. His professionalism, kindness and attention to detail were remarkable. He anticipated our needs before we even voiced them, arranged everything flawlessly and made every day feel effortless. Nothing was ever too much trouble. His warmth and genuine care lifted the entire experience to another level, and we feel very fortunate to have been looked after by him.

Beyond Hussain, every member of staff who served us was outstanding. Their consistency, friendliness and attentiveness were second to none. The entire team is a credit to the resort, and although we will not mention further names, we want to express our sincere appreciation to everyone who looked after us so beautifully.

The residences are spacious, private and elegantly designed, each with its own large pool and uninterrupted ocean views. It is incredibly peaceful, and the sense of privacy is exceptional. The photo's really don't do them any justice they are amazing!

The resort’s “Anything. Anytime. Anywhere.” concept is every bit as impressive as it sounds. Every meal, drink, spa treatment and activity felt personalised and seamless.

Dining was consistently excellent, and the freedom to enjoy experiences wherever and whenever we wished made the stay feel truly bespoke.

We loved the over-water spa, the snorkelling on the house reef and the wonderfully organised excursions.

We have travelled extensively around the world and stayed in many high-end resorts, but Kudadoo is without question the best we have experienced.

We would highly recommend this resort to anyone, and we have already been spreading the word.

We will absolutely return next year and we will be requesting Hussain again without hesitation.

We had an excellent experience at your resort. The experience exceeded our expectations and hopes. The resort is both beautiful and intimate with only 15 homes for the guests. The setting of the homes was just beautiful as they are over the prettiest waters we have seen. Snorkeling right off the deck in the backyard was excellent. We had an excellent butler who was was very helpful. Also very nice that almost everything is included (including optional services such as massages) as opposed to most everywhere else where there are charges for most items. Thank you

Our time at Kudadoo was simply amazing, and we are already planning when it might work for us to come back. Our butler, Hussain, was the friendliest, kindest person and made our experience unforgettable. We would recommend him to anyone that stays at the resort. All of the staff were equally amazing - all the bar and restaurant staff were perfect, our masseuses were some of the best we have ever had. The water sports instructors were amazing. Everyone was so kind and lovely. We wish we had more time to get to know everyone more. The rooms were amazing. One of the best we have stayed at and very relaxing. We were able to completely switch off. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the most amazing trip. We hope to see you all again one day. If you are thinking of staying at Kudadoo don't hesitate. It is the epitome of laid back luxury. Equal part relaxing and fun. Just the perfect holiday.

This is the second time we have visited Kudadoo and this time our experience was 100% instead of 90% satisfaction. Although I was unfortunately not 100% myself during our stay I really enjoyed all of our excursions, activities and treatments. My partner loved the food and drinks. I unfortunately could not fully partake - not their problem, my health. The room was as amazing as last time, the reef is amazing, we really had fantastic excursions to serveral areas of the atoll and saw pretty much everything ( except whale sharks) . The crews, boats and marine bioligist were absolutely fantastic. My partner played padel every day . We actually had to cut out some activities as we had so much to do. I think 5 days is the perfect time. We still did not get to dream island. All the stafff were sensational too. Perhaps we need to go back for a third visit. I would recommend that the menus are updated as I felt that all though very good many of the items were the same as last time.

Kudadoo is on a whole different level. The privacy was exactly what I needed, and the hospitality was just so genuine. Every meal was delicious and they really make sure everything is perfect for you. It felt like my own private paradise. Can’t thank the team enough for this amazing experience. I’ll definitely be back!

Another visit to Kudadoo. Having visited many resorts in the Maldives since 1999 Kudadoo is the most unique. Only 15 residences over water and outstanding service level. Not for people who want noise and party, but, plenty of activities, all included, if you want. We combined Kudadoo with Hurawalhi (great combo) for a short and smooth transfer. Arrival by boat taken by our host Shiam to the spa, because we had booked a reflexology treatment to start our visit. Then to our residence, #10, great sunset views. The villa is fab and the best part is the outside deck. Huge, open,big pool, stunning view, the reef just below. Sublime. Everything you can possibly think of in the room. The AAA gives you so much opportunity and when compared to resorts in the same bracket (HIGH end) it is very good value for money. Costly? Yes. Expensive? No. The food is excellent and you can have all your meals in the villa if you like. We had an amazing candle light dinner on our deck one night with lobster, champagne etc. Also had breakfast "at home" twice. There is a spa room in the villa with 2 beds , we had massages there twice. You can have it any time you like 24/7. We also went on an excursion, manta search and there are endless possibilities. The wines and food included are of top quality. I can go on and on. Your host handles everything, Shiam was fantastic and very ahead of things. We could just relax and let go. Our room attendant Ali kept everything spotless and even got me jasmin scent for my linen. Ilyas the sommelier is so knowledgabla and such a nice person too. ALL staff was fantastic! Snorkeling is ON you doorstep and really good. We can recommend Kudadoo without hesitation! We did Hurawalhi 6 n in beach villa, Kudadoo 4 n and then back to Hurawalhi 6 n in Ocean pool villa. That was the PERFECT combination. I can't think of one thing to improve this wonderful place. :-) Thank you for having us! We look forward to coming back in 2027. ＜3 Linda&Björn
