I was kicked out of the Hotel because the hotel gave my room to someone else. They told they tried to call but I didn't receive a single call from them. This guesthouse always make overbookings, in fact the night before they kicked out another two people after making the reservation and paying. I hope action is taken and this malicious practice of selling your reserved and paid accommodation to someone else at a higher price stops forthwith. While I don't like to criticise behind a screen or doing bad reviews I had to do this to avoid other having their holiday/stay ruined like could had easily happened to me. I also told the reception personally I will not book again here.

We've been here for a breakfast, never again. We waited 30 minutes for some "pancakes" and pies and the food wasn't worth the wait, the waiters were ignoring us. People that arrived after us were served first. Do not come here if you want to take a fast breakfast in vacation.

After a long trip we stayed in this wonderful place. Absolutely gorgeous. New furniture, well designed. We had all we needed. Besides the location is great, parking places available . Our balcony was with nice sea view. All was just perfect.

Just had breakfast at the place. When you order an English breakfast with beans, eggs and sausages you’d expect it to be warm and freshly made. There’s plenty of room for improvement. You could make the breakfast on the spot instead of serving a cold plate with wrinkled sausages and ham that have been lying around. And you could preheat the plate to have happy customers who enjoy the warm breakfast they expect.

Went twice for breakfast. Venue relaxing. Staff friendly. Good value. Food was great, but cappuccino was terrible. Orange juice next time. Pity! May I suggest you clean almost clogged milk steamer spout in vinegar overnight every night.

Our stay at Electra Guesthouse was just perfect! We had a double room with a private bathroom and balcony overlooking the ocean. To our delight, towels were refreshed and our room was cleaned spotless daily. Considering the prices of other accommodation we stayed at in Europe - this was by far the best value for money and an absolute bargain. Yes you have to pay extra for AC, but of course you do when it's priced as cheaply as a hostel! The amazing bonus is that you're given a fan for free, PLUS the option of using the AC. We would have given anything for other hostels in Europe to have AC as an option in the middle of summer!! People honestly have to stop complaining about this extra charge. Anyway, we were only in our room at night and never needed to spend more than 5euro to keep the AC going until morning. That's if you even need it with the fan being available to begin with! Check-in/out was a breeze and the owner was a really great guy with a lovely family who helped us with some car trouble midway through our stay. Parking is available for free in a lot that's a 2min walk away and of course you are right along the ocean, so within walking distance to an array of great seafood restaurants and cafes. The atmosphere in Marsalforn is some of the best in Gozo and safety is never an issue. Plus the guesthouse's resident cat is adorable. We would definitely stay here again in a heartbeat!

The mattress was very hard, we couldn't close the window properly which made it unsafe, the AC works with coins and costs extra, no TV in room, holes from cigarettes in bedsheets and no bin provided.
For the price we paid this was a huge disappointment. We would never go back.

The reason for this star rating is because the Manager was amazing and so was the room... Has for the Service received for Breakfast no Stars... No Menu was offered , Waiter had Bad Attitude, Breakfast not even that edible... Would I stay there again No Ways

A decent stay.. Nice accommodating staff..break fast included in the bill and its worth .. you need to carry coins for A/c ( i am not sure all rooms followe the same system) if you are person with walking difficulties ask before you book only thing lacking a lift
