The photos posted on the hotel's official website were quite different from the actual hotel, to the point that I couldn't recognize it. In reality, the hotel interior was very nice, and the front desk staff were very warm and considerate when I checked in. I even saw her busy in the restaurant at breakfast the next day. I would like to express my gratitude to her here! Breakfast was a full English buffet, very authentic, exactly the same quality and taste as the breakfast I had at the Richmond Hotel in London 30 years ago during a business trip. The dining table was also the old-fashioned kind from British homes, with a hinged panel. I don't know the exact name of this type of furniture, but it was very traditional and I've only seen it in England. The hotel's location was excellent, right at the entrance of a hutong (alleyway). Outside the hutong were rows of seaside restaurants. I recommend the restaurant on the far left (the innermost part of the hutong). Actually, every restaurant was packed after dark, but the dishes varied slightly, so it depends on personal preference. There was a bus stop around the corner next to the hotel, making it very convenient to take a bus to the capital, Victoria, where there are beautiful buildings and castles. Many streets on this island are picturesque at every turn, so beautiful that it's exciting. No wonder Lonely Planet never includes this country in their European or Southern European volumes; they want to keep it a secret. The only flaw of the hotel was that the entire building opposite was in an abandoned, unfinished state, which the hotel couldn't fix.

Recent trip was a blast and made all the more special by the hotel’s fabulous team with supernova morning smiles & love, care and attention in abundance. Thank you Anais, Bibi, Shariq, Vivek, Flora & Rhianna. All could not help any more than they did to make our first visit to Gozo highly enjoyable & fun. Thank you for the care and attention and the wholesome full English breakfasts and the spotless way in which you prepared our room each day. Superior Room 103 functional and loved the novelty mirror above the bed. See you all again next time in Gozo

The staff were incredibly friendly. The cleanliness was impeccable. The breakfast was quite good. It's very close to the sea and has several restaurants nearby. There's usually street parking, and if it's full, there's a parking garage across the street with reasonable prices.

The hotel room was really nice with everything we needed. The location is great with just a minute walk from the bay and near supermarket and a bus stop. Only the breakfast could have a few more choices (like slices of cheese) but it was not bad.

Lovely stay, great breakfast, great location
Very enjoyable stay. Great location around 100m from the sea with easy access to other places by the bus stop down the road. Great breakfast options. Only downside we had was construction ongoing across the road which was loud during the day, but didn't start until after we'd woken up anyways.

Staff very helpful and very polite However the B&B needs a lick of paint here and there because all the photos were taken back in 2016, the owners need to take care as it could damage their reputation that they have obviously built up over the years. They need to look at the outside and compare it to the website photos, the entrance plants need to be removed and replaced by seating (somewhere to sit whilst waiting for a taxi) the outside seating area all the walls need a good clean and plants need to be removed as flies and mosquitoes are drawn to them making your breakfast impossible to enjoy

The essence of Boutique Hotel comes into its own here. Each room has its own theme and features a terrace or balcony. The business is run by a fantastic manager and assistant who provides a delicious breakfast with very tasty coffee. I'm glad I discovered this place and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
