I had a great stay at Follow the Sun Boutique Hostel in Malta. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with everything I needed for a pleasant stay. The location was convenient, making it easy to explore the area, and the overall atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed. A perfect choice for anyone visiting Malta!

This hostel is a great, quiet choice with a nice sea view. It features a large, well-equipped kitchen and friendly, helpful staff. The rooms have shared bathrooms and are quiet thanks to clear rules. The swimming pool is small. For socializing, Marco Polo is a good option.

The place was clean but difficult to find a worker, didn’t see a receptionist once at the desk being there 4 days. There was no hot water in the shower (it was cold and rainy outside) and no heating in the building. Had to shower at a spa nearby instead. Our room got maybe one hour of some heat a night when there is a heater in the room with no remote in sight and no one to ask to help. They provide...

I moved to Malta in January 2026 and spent my first 15 days at this hostel. I couldn't have asked for a better welcome! The staff is amazing—Yami and Noemi are so friendly and helpful, and the owner is also very kind. The place is very comfortable and the location is perfect. I was particularly impressed with the cleanliness; they clean the common areas both in the morning and at night. Highly recommend...

The new location is even better than the old one! It’s closer to the main part of the city and there is a smaller hill to walk up. Everything was perfectly clean and decorated beautifully. The bathrooms and showers were perfect and the staff was lovely.

Great stay.Location very central and rooms clean and beds comfy. If you listen to Cliff Richard,have a lisp or dentures then maybe this isn't the place for you. Can't wait to return.Wonderful holiday.

Lovely hostel with a homey vibe, very clean and peaceful. We stayed one week in the twin room and had a very comfortable stay. People who stay there are kind and respectful, and the staff is great! Would go back without hesitation. Thank you Penny for having us :)

Everything was perfect! very nice apartment with an amazing view. the apartment was very big and well served. I recommend it to everyone as it is also in a good location. the owner very friendly and available for anything. moreover, the apartment is located a few steps from the bus station and from supermarkets and restaurants

We really liked the place. It was clean and spacious. Air conditioning work well. Very well communicated with Valetta and Sliema. Many restaurants downstairs. There is a fridge so you can prepare food on your own. Very friendly owner.

Uncomplicated stay, nice location, nice owner who is always available per phone for questions you may have. Modern interior. Only beds are very soft and pillows too stiff and big. Thank you Andrea!

The flat was really nice, but it had few flaws like for example almost broken sink (which broke in the time of our accomodation and was fixed the next day by the host) or old discolored toilet seat. The shared space was in ideal condition, and the place has really nice view of bay from balcony
