Lagoon Attitude Hotel in Pereybere

I know most people don’t like reading long reviews, but when I look for a hotel, I personally appreciate a bit of detail. So here is an honest review based on our full stay.

From the moment we arrived until the day we left, the experience was amazing. The check-in process was smooth and welcoming. We were greeted with drinks and a refreshing cold towel, which was a really nice touch after travelling.

The room was very clean, well maintained, and comfortable throughout our stay. Housekeeping did a great job every day.

The beach was beautiful. Although there was a small amount of seaweed in the water at times, it did not take away from the overall experience at all — the beach was still stunning.

We stayed on the all-inclusive package, and everything was well organised. It was great to know that all four restaurants were included. The standout restaurant for us was Kat-nou, which serves Mauritian local food. The Mauritian cuisine was absolutely amazing, and the quality of food across the hotel was easily on the level of a good 4-star hotel.

The lunch restaurant, Taba-J, was also very impressive, with great food and a lovely atmosphere.

A special mention to Reena, who served us at Kat-nou and also appeared in other restaurants. She was extremely friendly, welcoming, and excellent at her job. Her service really added to our experience.

One point that is very important for us: we are Muslims and we do not drink alcohol or eat pork. This hotel caters exceptionally well for Muslims. All the meat served is halal certified and procured from halal sources. The staff are also careful about cross-contamination, which made us feel completely comfortable. It is a very halal-friendly resort and an excellent choice for anyone who is concerned about this.

The hotel has three pools, two of which are quiet pools. Even though the hotel was full, we never once had to fight for beach beds or poolside space. Everything felt calm, relaxed, and well managed.

The checkout process was just as smooth as check-in. Don’t listen to negative comments about the food — the food was excellent at every restaurant we tried.

Overall, this was one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had, and we would happily return.

We arrived at the lagoon attitude without any expectation however we were blown away by the people at the hotel.Since day one we were taken aback by the hotel atmosphere.A truly wonderful place to enjoy and everyone seems to be enjoying what they are doing. We were treated with amazing care and with true hospitality services. The atmosphere,the food and entertainment were all brilliant. A special mention to Akaash at the lemongrass and to Reena at Kot nu restaurant.Both are genuinely amazing people who are truly passionate about hospitality and service. Achill on the bar who works tirelessly day and night is just brilliant ! We are truly grateful to the reception team who helped us make our stay beautiful especially Sajid and Carine. Stayed for 8 nights in March as celebration of my 50th birthday the month before. The holiday was truly amazing. The hotel was fantastic and from arrival the staff could not do enough for you. The food in all the restaurants including the buffet was lovely, lucky to eat all three of the al a carte restaurants and don’t really have a favourite as food at all was great, shout out Aki from Kot Nou. Our room was a seafront room, so near the main pool and right of the beach. Never used the main pool but if you like a bit more going on this is ideal and was never too loud. We went on the glass bottom boat which was a good little trip out, booked on the sunset cruise but unfortunately cancelled, not sure why as the weather was good that day, maybe due to lack of numbers (this was an extra cost) where the glass bottom boat is included. My only negative and not enough to deduct a point is the lack of non-alcoholic beers/wines. On the menu it shows that Heineken Zero is included; however they have very few each day, we heard they only get 12 cans and share between the bars. We would often get to a bar ask for one and they had to phone around the hotel to see if they could find one. A couple of waiters in the coral bar were great as they would ensure there was a least one can for my husband but on a couple of occasions they ran out. No other option! Wine is included on all inclusive if you drink by the glass and there was non alcoholic red/white/sparking wine but only by the bottle which you had to pay for think it was 950 MR. I know in the UK there are a large and growing number of people who choose not to drink alcohol and feel that it would be a benefit to the hotel if they catered for this more, but as I say didn’t ruin our experience. Thank you to all the staff for making our time at Lagoon Attitude something we will remember forever and look forward to returning in the near future.

We had a wonderful experience at the lagoon attitude hotel, and a big part of that was thanks to the exceptional service provided by Mrs Ratee. She was warm, attentive, and always ready to help with a genuine smile. Her professionalism and kindness truly stood out more . We’re very grateful for her efforts. Also Avinash provided outstanding service at the bar and truly elevated our experience. He was friendly, attentive, and clearly skilled at what he does. His positive attitude and great recommendations made our time there even more enjoyable. Thank you, Avinash, for the excellent service—we’ll definitely remember it!

Just at the end of a fantastic holiday in Mauritius, stayed at the lagoon attitude where we had a wonderful stay; one of the best hotel resorts you could stay at .

Never mind the travel time to get here it will pay you back 10 times . The location is paradise .

The hotel is just wonderful. Great facilities and a wonderful team.

Plenty of choice in bars and restaurants. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

My favourite was the traditional Kot Nou where we received a warm welcome , fabulous service and the food was excellent. They really made a fuss of us and went extra mile .

Reena was a super star and the chef Tina certainly knows her trade .mallar was also great.

Seabreaze was a great bar near the beach , Ganeshan was so efficient and Henna was a real asset to the wave . We missed her when she wasn't there .

Begum kept our room pristine and Matthew was so helpful in showing us around .

A comfortable stay from start to finish. As a local, I usually keep expectations realistic because Mauritians aren’t always treated the best in hotels here (the irony is real), but this place completely flipped the script with their VERY kind staff.

Food at Benitier was excellent, an easy 10/10 with great variety as well, but the real star were the breakfast hash browns.

Entertainment was also very enjoyable, especially the Sega performance, the highlight for me.

Loved seeing how comfortable and welcomed the stray cats and dogs are around the hotel. Everyone interacts with them so kindly, and they genuinely add to the atmosphere. I really hope they’re well cared for because they’re part of the charm.

Easy 10/10 and would visit again (and eat just the hash browns for breakfast).

We spent 1 week at the Lagoon Attitude and our stay was simply amazing.
All the staff was very friendly and helpful. We would like to mention Anish, a very nice guy who speaks also Italian.
The resort has a lot of facilities both for relaxing and doing some sport. The gym has a lot of new machinery and is very clean.
We had a room with sea view - the room is quite basic but very comfy and the view is simply astonishing.
Cleanliness is impeccable all around the complex.
We had the all inclusive and this comes with buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner (pic nic box is available for free in case of skipping any meal - we used this option quite a lot as we were out exploring most of the time). Amazing snacks are included mid morning and mid afternoon. Drinks and cocktails are very good and service is fast.
The all inclusive also allows to try the a-la-carte restaurants on site. Shoutout to the Tabaj (Mauritian street food) - superb!
We would also like to mention the Lemongrass (Asian cuisine) - we’ve never tasted chicken ravioli as good as theirs.
Another strong point is that they have shower cabins usable after the check out and before departure - also, the all inclusive plan starts when you arrive and ends when you leave (it doesn’t not depend on check-in and check-out times).
They’re also very committed to sustainability - appreciable, too.
Last but not least, the resort is adults only, which is perfect for someone looking for a peaceful environment where to relax.

We had an absolutely wonderful couple’s stay at Lagoon Attitude, and everything exceeded our expectations.

From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Raja, whose professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail truly made our stay magical. Thanks to him, we had the privilege of staying in a magnificent suite with a sea-view terrace and private jacuzzi—a dream setting that made every moment unforgettable. Raja genuinely went above and beyond to ensure our stay was nothing short of perfect.

We were equally impressed by the outstanding dining experiences. At the Bénitier restaurant, the service was impeccable, with Prince being especially attentive and thoughtful. We also enjoyed all three other restaurants, including a memorable beach dinner at Kot Nou, where Rena provided warm, friendly, and flawless service.

The on-site dive center is a real asset. The boat trips are varied, well organized, and all dive sites are reached in less than 15 minutes by speedboat. While the dives felt a little short (around 40 minutes before decompression), the overall experience was still excellent.

Lagoon Attitude is a beautiful, serene hotel with exceptional staff who truly care about their guests. We leave with unforgettable memories and a strong desire to return.
