A Superb Spa Experience

I had an absolutely superb day at Casuarina Resort & Spa. The highlight of the visit was undoubtedly the spa experience.
A huge "thumbs up" to our therapists, Shree and Ourmilla, who performed our couple’s massage. From the moment we arrived at the spa reception, the welcoming was warm and professional. Both therapists were highly skilled, and the massage itself was fantastic—truly relaxing and professional.
If you are visiting Casuarina, I highly recommend booking a session with them. I will definitely be back

A wonderful stay at the Casuarina Hotel in Mauritius. Excellent room with an ocean view, excellent service in the restaurant and on the beach. Special thanks to the maid, Pratima, who always made our room 138 very comfortable.

First time, Me and my Husband, We visited Casuarina Resort and Spa, Staffs at the reception for arrival and departure as well were amazingly professional, Ms Harshini was very nice,A lady security greeted us and wished us Happy new year with a great smile, Welcoming was perfect, we went to have a drink at the bar near the pools and music was good, The guys at bar were good , one was Indian and others Mauritians thanks guys,Food taste was good and lots of Varieties and fresh. Just the calamari was tasteless. We had great time near the pool, atmosphere was great and good music, however there was lack of staffs, cleanliness and I think hotel needs a renovation at few areas.. I always wished to come to Casuarina really appreciated. Overall it was nice experience. Last minute a small thing that was inappropriate happened , I informed the receptionist and a Supervisor. Hope next time it won't repeat. See u soon😊 Saturday 10.01.26 We are from Hospitality team as well. Be careful next time. 🥂

We arrived at 11.30am and given our room straight away although meals and drinks AI didn't start until 2pm. We booked a privilege sea view room. A bit limited due to trees but worth it. Dressing gown and new slippers provided. The food was very good, I don't eat red meat or fish but plenty of choices. Always sunbeds available around the two pools except at weekends when Mauritians arrive. Beach only 50 metres from hotel, lots of sunbeds with umbrellas. Snorkelling near rope in left corner pretty good. Book free glass bottom boat trip for snorkelling or justlook at fish. Look out for David selling sarongs etc. No hassle very sweet. You will also find Vijay selling trips. Very trustworthy and will escort you to catamaran ports although bit more expensive than same trips with travel agents in Troux aux biches. Easy to do trips yourself on the bus. Turn left out of hotel 300m to bus stops. No 82 will take you to Port Louis, Troux aux biches No 82 in opposite direction to Mont Choisy ( stunning beach with plenty of shade) La Cuvette for snorkelling and Pereybere. Cap Malheureux or St Julien bus will take you to top of island to red roof church Notre Dam. Takes approx 35 mins. Stunning views. Bus conductors are really helpful and will tell when it's your stop. Most you will pay is 41 rupees approx 70p Advise you to get your rupees at airport all agents do sane rate no commission. Other bank but must take your passport. Not allowed to take any drinks to beach but can taket two bottles pop provided each day. We took insulated cups with our beverages from bar 😀 Would recommend this hotel. Everything was very good

Very pleasant holidays, family-friendly. Excellent service. Variety of food was good but can can certainly undergo improvement. Sanjay and steeve, excellent managers, made sure we have great dining experience. Infrastructure looks great, lush green areas, white buildings. The ducks took the scenery to another level. I highly recommend for those who seek excellent family times.

Fabulous holiday , we are still here now . From the moment we arrived we were so well looked after by shiva & his team . Our room wasn’t ready when we arrived but we were all so well looked after , it didn’t really matter at all . The staff are all amazing & so lovely . The hotel itself is fantastic , disregard any reviews that say otherwise , & it’s spotlessly clean all the time . Attention to detail is fabulous . It’s clearly had a makeover & our room is beautiful .the food is incredible too . Would definitely recommend this hotel & shiva & his team . Having the most fabulous time .

Only had one night in Mauritius so wanted to go for dinner somewhere special. Previous reviews pointed to Le Pescatore but poor connectivity prevented looking at the menu online. When we got there decided to go for the MRs 2,600 set menu which was far more than we are used to spending. However it was well worth it. The food was excellent, with plenty of extra little courses and perfect service. Would definately go back (if we were staying longer)

Great food, best we've had on the island. Very friendly and attentive staff. Nice view at the ocean, it raised a romantic feeling. Its pretty expensive, but I guess the food and the atmosphere is worth it. We came for dinner and it was an allmost perfect experience. What bothered me though was the amount of insects at the table. This probably can't be helped with a restaurant right at the seaside. Still though having insects in your drink and crawling all over your table lamp was irritating to say at least.
Would still recommend a visit if you can afford it, even a detour if you've got the time.
