Absolutely incredible holiday at Le Cannonier. The resort is quiet, spotlessly clean, in a fantastic location and offers excellent value for money. The staff were outstanding — friendly, helpful and always going above and beyond. Management were visible and approachable throughout our stay.
A special mention to our waiter Osman and to Sonia Duval, the hotel manager, whose care and attention made a real difference. Beautiful rooms, stunning amenities, delicious and varied food, and a perfect setting with the sea on your doorstep and a gorgeous pool.
We stayed for 8 days and could easily have stayed longer. Will return without hesitation.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Cannonier Beachcomber Golf Resort & Spa, especially dining at Frangipanier.
A special thank you to Executive Chef Ajay and his fantastic team for their exceptional care and service. I have a severe tree nut allergy, and they went out of their way to ensure my safety — clearly marking allergens on menu items and even preparing chocolate sauce and ice cream specially for me to avoid any contamination. Chef Ajay made us feel like royalties. But in general, the food they served were exceptional!
The food we enjoyed at the Al a Carte restaurant was also delicious and beautifully presented.
The attention to detail, professionalism, and genuine care of this resort made the experience truly outstanding. Highly recommended.

Our recent stay at The Cannoniers Beachcomber was exceptional in every respect. As a well-established institution and a landmark at the truly magnificent Pointe aux Cannoniers in Mauritius, the hotel more than lives up to its reputation. From arrival to departure, the level of service was consistently attentive, courteous, and proactive. And this in spite of the hotel being close to 100% full. The facilities are beautifully presented, the rooms are impeccably clean, and the overall environment is both comfortable and refined.
A particular highlight was the professionalism and kindness of the staff. Individuals such as Mr. Rama, Shifa, Prathvi, Ti Van, Benji, and the raucously funny Ayush from the boathouse went well beyond standard service levels to ensure that our stay was seamless and enjoyable, and their efforts are sincerely appreciated. Their genuine warmth and commitment to guest experience made our visit truly memorable. Bravo!

We enjoyed a wonderful family holiday at Beachcomber Cannonier in July 2025. The food and drink were excellent and far from repetitive (as can sometimes be the case for All Inclusive). It was fresh, creative and delicious. The two restaurants were a good addition and were good to visit for a more special meal.
The beach-side location was glorious – being able to stroll from our room directly onto the beach and from there round to the pool was wonderful. Only real issue was that the beach side location meant that we often had sandy feet – and couldn’t find a foot shower to wash them off. Only one pool so that may be something to consider for some guests.
Amazing selection of watersports activities included, including water-ski and glass bottom boats. The watersports team were very friendly and always greeted us with a smile and sense of fun.
The room was spacious and kept clean. Evening entertainment was good – nice gentle background bands and entertainers for us to enjoy whilst enjoying evening drinks or playing cards.
A special shout / thank you to the following who all helped make our stay so enjoyable – Esha (reception), the lovely smiley Collen (waiter), Rama our ‘room boy’ as he called himself, Sharron, Prithvi and the lovely Nandini who always looked after us at meal times.

We had a wonderful stay at Canonnier. The hotel has a beautiful atmosphere, great facilities, and a lovely beach. The food was very good across all the restaurants, and the rooms were clean, comfortable, and welcoming.
The kids’ club itself was nice, but we were a bit disappointed with the playroom: every time we went in, the staff members were watching TV and didn’t always come out to greet us or the child when we arrived.
The staff in the rest of the resort, however, were generally friendly and helpful. The only thing we missed was having a bit more space and privacy —since there is only one main pool, at times we wished for a little more distance from other guests. Still, overall we truly enjoyed our time at Canonnier and left with great memories.

Wow. We had high hopes for Cannonier Beachcomber after reading such good reviews, and it did not disappoint! Such a beautiful hotel, everything runs seamlessly from indoor to outdoor so you never feel fully inside. Beautiful service, beautiful setting, sensational food. The hotel felt so safe, small enough to easily nip back to our room, or let the children (10 and 7) have some independence, yet set out in a way that you could feel like you were in a different place on different days! Multiple beach areas with different outlooks. So many activities, all so easily accessible - table tennis, pool, tennis courts, archery mini golf, aqua fit in the pool, pool volleyball/water polo, yoga sessions, snorkelling trips, glass bottom boat (saw sea turtles!) , pedalos, kayak, paddle boards and a gym ....all included with the All Inclusive! The food was amazing. Book Al a Carte early as they do get full, however the beautiful Navigator restaurant does not need booking for lunchtime, and with kids the lunchtime vibe suited us more anyway. Beautiful spot for afternoon drinks and sunset, and you can easily sit watching the kids on the beach. The buffet restaurant (Frangipanier) was sensational - a different theme every night. All so fresh, often being cooked in front of you, replenished constantly and lovely table service for drinks, so still a restaurant feel. Entertainment every night in the beautiful relaxed bar areas. The "burger van" is the best idea ever!! Situated between the beach and the pool, serving sensational burgers/tacos/bao buns (menu changes daily) every afternoon, with the best cookies we've ever had and soft and alcoholic drinks! This meant we could easily eat and drink without having to go the restaurant, perfect when the kids wanted hours on end in the pool or were settled on the beach. So much beautiful seating everywhere. Pools were great, and plenty of sunbeds. Staff were all so lovely. Special mention to Elody from guest relations who was always so willing to help and make suggestions. Room was cleaned every day, always spotless, and our housekeeper made lovely towel art for the children . Beer, juice, coke, Fanta, kit Kat's and peanuts in mini bar daily. I could go on..... Thank you to all of the incredibly hardworking staff. A faultless stay in a beautiful hotel.

Beautiful hotel, just not my preference for solo
The hotel and grounds are beautiful, with a great spot on the coast line to wake up to every day. There are lots of facilities and things to do as well as gorgeous private beaches on which to relax. The hotel has been designed as an all inclusive hotel - not my personal preference - and as such meal options/ room service etc and beach service are all limited.

This is the most incredible hitel i have ever had the pleasure of staying at. Everything is first class, food, rooms, staff, surroundings, entertainment, drinks, watersports -free. Sunsets are the best. Literally, i would go back in a heartbeat. There is not one thing i would change. Book a sea facing room between room 400 -430. Perfect ground floor rooms, with a terrace and a perfect location and view of the sunset. Book it!
