Horisun in Belle Mare

Amazing place to stay! ☀️
Quiet, peaceful and the nicest hosts you could imagine.
We spent a week in this lovely place with its beautiful garden & pool area.
The breakfast & dinner was both absolutely delicious, vegetarian options for one of us were also no problem at all.
The hosts were super helpful whenever needed, they’ve even organized a rental car within one day.
You can easily walk to the beach or just enjoy a day at the residence next to the lake.

We highly recommend to book your stay here when you’re not a big fan of packed all inclusive mass tourism.

Unique environment, more homely atmosphere, food and service good while the hall for social functione very cozy. Mauritians from lower to upper layers of society showed quite appreciation for the venue food and specific location.

We stayed one night at horisun in their standard garden view room. Upon arrival we were welcomed by the owner who gave us some drinks. Then we were taken to the room. The room was clean, had a/c, a tv, along with a kettle and some tea. The bathroom had a shower and a bathtub. The price was quite affordable as we also had breakfast included in the package booked via deals.mu. Horisun is situated in a quiet place and I would recommend anyone to go there if they want some peace. The horisun restaurant was quite a small walk away from where we stayed. I think that if you book the lake view room, you might be staying where the restaurant and pool is. Their breakfast was delicious ☺️
What I can add on is that a hair dryer might be missing from the room and some hand wash 😅

The hospitality, atmosphere, cleanliness, breakfast, interior, spacious rooms, well isolated and friendliness were excellent...far away from the hustle and bustle.This place was our safe zone...we visited a lot of accommodations in Mauritius - Horisun is the best in our perspective. Highly recommended 👌

This place ticks so many boxes!! We stayed in Garden view rooms. The rooms are spacious, the bathroom giant. The whole place clean super clean. The owners are both very friendly and helpful. The food is delicious - we booked their dinner on the first night we stayed. We had green curry, tom yum soup and dessert. The food was beautifully served, and cooked using herbs from their garden. Breakfast was also abundant: crepes, omelette, fruits and tea/coffee! The pool is large enough, and clean. Nice and quiet place for a relaxed time with family/friends or as a couple. Good value for money!
