The hotel was amazing.
The staff (12 to 18 Jan 2026) was exceptional, all of them. Some of the names was Faizal wow he made us feel like its our home :) Suren, Kinesh, Avinesh, Tanya they were so friendly keep on checking up on us and had such sweet conversations making our stay so great. We were a bit sad leaving. The hotels service are great and I can definitely recommend.

We had a fantastic stay at Veranda hotel. The most beautiful stay - everything we could’ve asked for. Room was great and had everything we needed: clean and tidied well everyday. Food from the buffet was good. Tasty and fresh every time, and team are accommodating with preference and requirements! Sami was amazing every day at the restaurant (and everywhere else!!) helping us out and having a laugh. Drinks at the Barracuda bar were great. Huge thanks to Neelesh and Poushtikha who made our evenings so much fun. Great cocktails, and always with a smile - great friends made by the end:))

Our stay was exceptional the hotel staff was friendly we really felt like we were special. We were specially treated for our wedding anniversary night like honeymooners. We hope to bring the whole family next time. Thankyou Sami and staff.

Very nice 3 stars hotel. You are received like in a 4 🌟. The staff is very polite, helpful and professional. The food and drinks included in the all inclusive is excellent. The beach in front is awesome.

Lovely hotel by the beach were we enjoyed the sea and watchthe sunrise. The staff were very accommodating. We felt very welcome. The room had a good view on the swimming pool. A wide range of activities were available (snorkeling, beach volleyball, table tennis, aqua gym, cooking class...). The room along with the amenities were very clean and well maintained. In our week long stay we enjoyed the quality and choise of the food in the buffet and the restaurant had to offer. We could see the diversity in the Mauritius culture in the food. Highly recommend Veranda Palmar Beach and we would the come back if given the chance.

We had a wonderful stay at Veranda Palmer. Our room was amazing and Asha, our cleaner made the funniest towel arrangements for us every day. The beach was always clean and great to swim in. The hotel was clean and food was good. The chef even came out when we got there to talk about my dietary restrictions and offered to cater to me if the buffet wasn't sufficient. The staff was nothing but polite and helpful. I think the previous comments from guests are entitled and unnecessary and perhaps the guests were the problem as we had no issues at all. The staff even went so far as to send me home with tamarind jam that I loved so much and the chef came out to tell me how to make it! (Shout out to Rahul & Yanish). The beach dogs were also the sweetest and not bothersome at all. One comment would just be to have more than one barman at peak times because we did have to wait longer than we wanted for a drink sometimes. Overall - a great stay.

The best beaches are here - the best snorkeling. The AI option means you never go hungry! The Ti punch at the bar is a must have. Particular people that make this place brilliant are Faisal (guest relations) - he’s fantastic. I met him years ago at another hotel and can safely say he is the biggest asset to any hotel that has him - much in need of a promotion I think. Eddy at the boathouse does the best glass bottom boat and snorkeling trips (free). We are so grateful to him for helping our daughter safely in the water by getting in himself. He went beyond what he needed to. These boat trips are the best we’ve had at any hotel (and we’ve stayed at over 80% of Mauritian hotels). Many more expensive hotels like Long Beach and Lux have disappointed and given very short trips but here you get 45mins to an hour with snorkels and fins provided. Charlene at the kids club is pure joy and our daughter loved her. She is also a real asset to this hotel. The lady who greets on arrival at the man who takes care of baggage (I wish I remembered their names) remembered us from a previous trip and their smiles had our trip off to a great start. Lastly in the restaurant Alum and Tanoy looked after us well on the both occasions we have stayed here. May they get some bonus pay for their excellent service and attentive care. One final thanks to Jane Grey who provided entertainment - what a singer! Thanks to all for making our daughter’s birthday trip so special!

We had a wonderful stay at Veranda Hotel. The welcome was very warm, and our three-day, two-night stay started perfectly. A trainee waiter was exceptionally kind and helpful throughout our visit. The food was delicious, with a wide variety of dishes that we truly enjoyed. Everything went smoothly with no difficulties, and overall, we had a great time!

We had a fantastic stay at Veranda Palmar Beach Hotel in Mauritius. Everything was wonderful, and we especially loved the lush greenery around the hotel. The gardens were well-maintained, and the beach was pristine with absolutely beautiful views. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive from the moment we arrived until we checked out. They were always ready to help with anything we needed, which made us feel really well taken care of.

Additionally, we had a fantastic taxi driver who showed us around the island. He was super nice, the car was clean, and he shared lots of insights about the local culture. He took us anywhere we wanted to go and even chatted with locals in their language to make sure everything went smoothly. We felt truly looked after and would definitely recommend a tour with Girish!
