This project is great. Thanks to all volunteers. We are tourists for a few days in one of the three cabins on the site. Excellent accommodation. Everything you need.

Castania Pension is located very close to Chisinau, with competitive prices. Money paid, go to social projects for elderly people. Benefit from accommodation and at the same time contribute to socially vulnerable elderly people: win-win situation!

The rooms are spatious, the food is good. The Internet signal is also pretty good. I had some trouble finding it on the map but other than that it was ok. The rooms are well equiped with tables, beds, blankets (hot ones for cold season) and also a mini fridge. The only complaint I'd have is that when I've been there (October) even if it was already cold outside there wasn't any kind of heating and...

The hotel is brand new and has almost everything one needs. Unfortunately there was no toiletries, no shampoo and only hand soap. There is lots of furniture in the room ans cabinets but no dishes and the only sink is in the bathroom. The setup was a bit weird. The reception was very welcoming and sheets were clean. The hotel/hostel was very nice and clean; the staff were friendly and helpful. Except for one thing: there was an annoying noise heard in my room at night. The water pipes were vibrating and making noises, making it difficult to fall asleep.

Huge rooms, with big bathrooms. I had three beds in my room. Although I ordered breakfast box, the hotel forgot to prepare it. Very convenient bus line to the center, only 6 lei.

Large warm rooms, slippers and good hair dryer, 1 big bottle of water daily for free, confortable bed with lots of pillows. Everything is clean and new. They have an internet modem for daily renting, 50 lei, unlimited traffic they say. Sadly the hotel lacks a proper eating space, so they put tables in the large lobby and serve breakfast and dinner there. There is an exchage office outside of the hotel...

When i arrived at Hotel at 2 AM i had a big surprise. The reservation it supposed to be for one person in a duble room and at the reception they told me that i have a bed in capsule with 9 other people in the room. After that night they ask for another 100 euro to let me have a bed in a room by myself. They told that what a favor i have to be there. I do not recomand to pay online. Make a reservation...

Great hotel and lovely staff. We have been there in the winter/spring time so the terrace outside wasn't usable, but I can imagine that it will look beautiful in the summer time. Definitely recommend it and had a good stay. Thank you

Although it is only a short distance from the city center, the design of the clean rooms and the friendly Turkish-speaking staff (Swetlena) is a reasonable family hotel with a reasonable price.

Pretty clean in the room, clean towels and bed linen. Rooms smell cigarettes and there are stains on the ceiling, walls, where water was flooded, needs repair.

The biggest issue with this hotel is that several of the rooms have no curtains. So very early in the morning, you'll get super bright daylight! We've complained about it and they gave us a different room, which we initially thought didn't have that problem but... we unfortunately noticed later it was the same! Hotel's location is great - you can reach the city center by foot in 10-15 minutes. Very quiet place. Rooms are big enough, clean and well maintained, breakfast is also good - not wide choice, but taste. Will stay again.

Had a 2 days stay in this hotel and we enjoyed it. The room was spacious and clean with a balcony. Even the Hotel is positioned in the center of the city, it was very silent o the territory. The Hotel has an wonderful terrace, we enjoyed our breakfast and dinner there. The food is very tasty and the prices are more than ok. Will definetely come back

In my two weeks stay, I became as if a family member of the staff, on a first name basis of conversation, with genuine interest in my needs and friendly banter.

Good location, located in the center. The rooms are quite spacious, you sleep like a child in that crib)). It is clean and tidy. The staff is kind and friendly. There is no bathtub instead it is shower, I like more the shower. It is a restaurant and several terraces. Breakfast is diverse, everything tasty. I definitely recommend spending the night with them.

You get nice rooms for a reasonable price. The location might scare you on the map but in reality it saves you from a lot of traffic jams so you end up with a better connection then the hotels in center. The inside is cozy and stuff is trained properly. Fluent in English and helpful at your needs.

This is a very charming and cozy hotel, perfectly located. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful — even when we checked in at 3 a.m., the communication was smooth, and they adapted easily to our needs. The hotel is 1.3 km from main center (15-20min walking) in a quiet area, close to different embassyes. The rooms are clean and larger than usual. It offers slippers and bathrobe which is not usual for a 3* hotel. The towels are changed daily. There are enough options for breakfast. Amazing breakfast! Everything was homemade, unique, delicious and we looked forward to it. Great location, just a 15 min walk from downtown. Helpful staff-even found us converters because we forgot ours. Heater was in the bathroom which we didn't discover till the 2nd night so were a bit cold the first one but overall a great place to stay.

On booking the hotel was presented as 4⭐️. In reality it turned out to be 3.... It's a huge plus that you can take your pet with you 🐕‍🦺. There is no refrigerator in the room; there was a decent amount of leakage from the shower stall to the toilet. We arrived on the weekend, the windows were open and you could hear music from the neighboring restaurant until one in the morning.. Otherwise it was fine...

The location is excellent. The rooms are excellent. The front desk is staffed adequately. The breakfast service is luxurious. The hotel near a park with great views of the lake. The stairs to the lake has cascading neoclassical fountain.

Clean hotel, double room not very big, but clean, electric kettle, but we only had tea bags. a free bottle of water and the mini bar in the room for a fee. The bathroom is a bit small, but clean and with everything you need. In the room they have bath mats, slippers, kits for anything you need. Very good and rich breakfast. About 15 minutes walk from the city center.

We spent here four nights between Christmas and New Year. The hotel is located in the Embassy District and the city centre as well as a lot of museums can be accessed easily by walking. The rooms are comfortable, modern and have enough space. The employees were very helpful and we also enjoyed the breakfast a lot. I had a short stay at the Regency Hotel and it was a very pleasant experience. The rooms are big, comfortable, and nicely kept, making it easy to feel at home. The staff is very welcoming and always ready to help, which made my stay even better. The location is also great, right in the center, close to everything you might need. Overall, a wonderful place to stay and highly recommended.

Well appointed rooms with a fridge. Breakfast had a good assortment of hot and cold local and international food. There are a number of restaurants near by as well as a supermarket right around the corner. A number of tourist attractions are within a fifteen minute radius walking.

The building obviously dated from the old Soviet age and it was quite a nostalgic experience to stay there.

Good stay Great location, comfortable.

The only positive side about the hotel is its location and that wife works well. Other than that it’s just a typical Soviet hotel. Everything is outdated, old and dirty, ac doesn’t work, not tea, no coffee in rooms, no drinkable water in rooms. If it was a two star hotel it would have make sense, but not 4.

Good hotel It’s a decent hotel to stay.

Soviet built hotel. You know what to expect. Outdated rooms, curtains that fail to cover the window and are too thin to block light, pretty hard beds and 'interesting' lifts that are strangely shaped and move rather rapidly. All in all a great experience from another time. Quiet rooms and a Top location. Worth staying at if you can get at a cheap price.

Savoy hotel is, somewhat, relic but pleasant one.

We really loved staying at this hotel after a long day on the highway driving. Check in was very welcoming, directions were very helpful and also sourcing hired driver to Winery Visits we had was very helpful. These people are so kind. I had business in the neighborhood and needed help getting to a hotel in another part of town. Olga was so helpful helping me get a taxi and get out of the heat in the meantime — even though I wasn’t a guest. I hope I have future travel here so I can stay at this hotel!

Great hotel located near the embassy. Able to walk to a lot of things. Front desk people were super accommodating and the rooms were very spacious. Also had a variety of breakfasts to choose from that were all really good.

I am only visiting the wine bar (at the recommendation of wine maker friends) - but pleasant arcade, expert sommelier, friendly and efficient service in English, Russian, Romanian and Turkish. Delicious cold cuts plate to accompany the wine.

Reasonable place for someone who is in search for the authentic USSR experience. No card payments. Shared bathrooms and the smelly rooms. WiFi works at the reception only. Pretty clean. Very cheap. Good location. But most importantly, authentic.

The cleanliness and service are very good. The hotel is located a little far from the city center, so you will need to take a bus to go sightseeing. There are supermarkets and restaurants near the hotel, so you can spend the day there.

I spent four nights at this hotel and I am very satisfied with my stay. The room was clean, well equipped, and the staff were extremely polite and helpful. This hostel is the best is Chisinau. One thing i always appreciate is good bathrooms and this place had bathrooms like a 5 star hotel. It was super clean, everyone was super nice and overall i heavily recommend.

The best hostel I’ve ever stayed. The receptionist (a brunette girl with braces, I can’t remember her name) was AMAZING. She explained everything, even gave us a city map. The hostel is really clean, the staff so friendly, we met the owner Rubens and he helped us A LOT. Zero complaints, amazing staff, amazing location, amazing infrastructure, amazing hostel! Thank you!
