Very recommended. Camp for two with tent is 15€
The staff there was very nice an doing their best. BUT there is no one working there for money. This hostel is based on the free work of volunteers. They do their best, I also wouldn't do it better as a volunteer.
But the hostel, without someone getting paid or caring enough to clean everything, is super super dirty.
The kitchen and bathrooms are really just disgusting. Shower and water not working properly. Very smelly parts in the kitchen. The rest also has to be renovated.
The owner should consider paying someone, and not just cashing in on a hostel he probably puts zero effort in, because everything is run by volunteers.
But the whole building itself needs renovation so badly. Broken stairs, incredible dirty old bathroom (I was too disgusted to shower there) and no door could be locked or closed properly- even not the mainentrance, what made me feel unsafe. I am used to stay in backpacker hostels but those beds were the least compfortable ones I ever slept in. Overused thin mattrasses on sharp wooden planks - disapointing. The location was fine, 20 minutes walk to the bus- and trainstation. The wild beach on the pictures is pretty far and very hard to reach.
