Majero Apartments in Utjeha

I don’t understand why this place has such a high rating. We booked it through Airbnb, and the host was 15–20 minutes late for check-in, so we had to wait after a long and exhausting trip.

We were 4 people, but when we arrived there was only one towel in the apartment. We had to ask for more. There was no hand soap in the bathroom, no kitchen towel, only two blankets for four people, and just two tiny blanket covers. In one corner of the room, the floor still had beach pebbles on it, which suggests it wasn’t cleaned very well. The bathroom also had a sewage smell. The bed sheets had noticeable yellow stains.

On the positive side, the view from the balcony is amazing, and the balcony itself is quite nice. A very small beach is about a 3–5 minute walk away. Personally, I didn’t enjoy it much, the sea was dirty, though that might have been because it was evening and the water was rough. I know there’s another beach a bit further away, but I didn’t get a chance to check it out since I was only here for one night.
