If I were choosing a hotel in Podgorica and wanted a centrally-located, clean, comfortable stay with good value, Hotel New Star would definitely be on my shortlist. It hits many of the right marks for location, comfort and service. For someone seeking luxury resort-style amenities (pool, spa, elite club lounge), it may have a few compromises, but for most travellers it’s a very solid option.

The staff is friendly, the hotel is impeccable. Close to the city center. A perfect hotel to stay at.

A wonderful hotel with excellent rooms. The staff is incredibly friendly. The food is plentiful. Overall, 5 stars, highly recommended.

The location is perfect and centralized. The service was good and the rooms were ok.

The rooms are okay, not for a 4 star hotel, but I could say a 3 star should be okay.
The service is the worst. The staff is rude, like they are bothered by people who do not speak their language.
The food was horrible, out of four night, I only had once a decent soup in there.
Would never suggest it to anyone!

Spacious cosy room with a small balcony. The bathroom was clean and warm. The lobby as well as rooms have elegant design. The hotel personel was really kind. The breakfast was quite simple but the food was fresh, local and tasteful. Coffee at the restaurant was really good. I liked the localisation: there is a market with local fresh food nearby and the city center is about 1 km away, so for me it was a walking distance 👍

Breakfast time is only until 9am (so I didn't make it and had to order paid breakfast to my room).

There is no drinking water in the room, and therefore no kettle, mugs and so on. There is also no iron, but there is a paid ironing service.
In general, the bare minimum (towels and that’s it) in the room. But there is a minibar where 250ml of water is sold for 1.7 Euro.

The room interior is nice.

The twin room is a family room with one large bed and one small bed. So when coming with friends, be sure to check what kind of beds they are. The environment is quite clean and the location is relatively convenient.

Hotel well located for visiting the city of Podgorica, located next to the area of the international embassies, has good facilities and the staff is attentive, so it can certainly be recommended.

It’s about half an hour’s walk from the city center ~ parking is free ~ and the rooms are OK
