This hotel gave me an exceptionally warm welcome on a wet and rainy evening. I needed accommodation for myself and a dog. The hot shower and a lovely room with views of the church. A 3 course dinner and a buffet breakfast before I set off again to continue my walk through Limburg. Thank you and so very much appreciated.

The excellent service, large clean rooms, friendly staff, and location all made for a very nice stay. Real value for the cost. And recommended for any stay in Epenland area.

All inclusive at 65 EUR per person per night. Good meals. Old fashioned interior, but clean. Little attention paid to Covid prevention. Breakfast room very crowded. No Mouth/face masks.

Hotel Eperland was a great place to stay for the night. It was quiet and our room looked out over a field. The room was clean and roomy. Breakfast was ok. It was pretty basic but had a bit of something for everyone. The staff was very friendly and helpful! I would definitely stay here again if I am in the area.

The biggest surprise was the EXCELLENT restaurant. My biggest disappointment was the box-spring bed, in particular the mattress or "topper". On average, I recommend staying in this family-owned hotel, especially when you're less tall than 1m85 and less heavy than c.85 kg.

A very pleasant place to spend a nice weekend. Great food, at a high level. The hotel service is also very well organized. The rooms are clean and fragrant. The cleaning ladies took care of my room very well and quickly. I recommend, I will definitely come back.

The restaurant looked very nice. Breakfast and dinner were excellent. Friendly staff. The room was a bit small. Also, the bed was small. We had a double bed, and it was just 140cm—also very soft matrasses. Really a point of attention to improve, in our opinion.

Very nice and helpful personell. The owner is Chef de cuisine and he does a hell of a good job, everything is very tasty and colorful. His wife is doing the service and is also very charming and professional. This makes the Hotel Restaurant Berghoeve a very recommendable location for everybody, who is looking for a good dinner and a nap after travelling.

This is a fantastic hotel in a lovely setting. The hotel looks like it has been modernised recently and they've done a great job. The decor is very simple and contemporary. We stayed in the junior suite, which was spacious, tidy and clean. It was air conditioned. The bathroom had a big bath and a walk in shower, all immaculate. Great friendly couple running the place. Rooms and property are well managed and clean. Breakfast is prepared by yhe owner and you have thr choice of trying regional foods as well. Around the area there are spas and amusement parks, so there’s plenty to do.

Just a few days away, so we booked quite last-minute. Upon arrival, we were given a lovely room on the ground floor due to elevator repairs/maintenance. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide selection of rolls and toppings. The hotel doesn't have its own restaurant, but that shouldn't be a problem in Valkenburg. We chose this hotel for: its central location, the ease of parking (paid), the junior suite on the ground floor and its large bathroom with bathtub (recently renovated), the comfortable bedding, the breakfast buffet. We still regret the poor soundproofing (noise from the street, neighboring rooms, corridors... in short, it's noisy, but fortunately it's very quiet at night) and the quality of the services...

The welcome was friendly and good, the room was clean but not spectacular for the price we paid. We also found the staff friendly and did their job well. One major drawback is that I had indicated in my reservation that someone was vegan and that they would take that into account. Five days before arrival, I called the hotel again and asked if they would be willing to accommodate someone who was vegan...

Hotel was located in Central location so was ideal for visiting the various town attractions. Much of the central area was pedestrianised and flat.It was a lovely place to visit. We stayed at the Walram Hotel , friendly staff, accommodation clean, very good value for money.

Stayed at hotel as part of a coach party. Rooms are basic but adequate. The evening meal was delicious. All cooked perfectly. I had the fish which was cooked to perfection and my husband had the chicken which was tender and not dried out. In addition there was a salad bar and soup which was very tasty as well. All washed down with a glass of white wine from the bar.

A lovely hotel set in fabulous Valkenburg. Staff are incredibly polite, friendly & accommodating and can't do enough for you. The hotel decor is plush, modern & has a welcoming vibe. We're here with Parrys International, and have been treated extremely well, making our New Year 2026 Experience one to remember.

Stayed as part of a Caledonian Travel coach tour. Room was fine if rather small with limited storage space. Kettle and coffee sachets etc provided. I had a nice view of the market in the square. Rooms were really well cleaned each day. Excellent heated swimming pool although very limited changing facilities and only public showers - wish I had brought a robe. You need to bring down your own towels...

Ups & downs for this hotel. Not a double bed just 2 singles shoved together. Door to bathroom far too close to the toilet. Shower/bath very high off the floor. No view of any sort other than half of the hotel building. Breakfast was poor, often cold & only 'warm' choices were for scrambled egg, boiled egg, beans, awful streaky bacon & sausages that were not like i've ever tasted. On the plus side staff...

Good value for the price. The rooms are a bit aged, but very clean. The cleaning staff did an excellent job — truly great service. Very friendly staff .. our room very small but expected that as said small room. Fine for our overnight stopper. Room was clean and good.. Parked in nearly covered var park 16 euros for 24 hours so good value. was clean. Breakfast was good choice. Good stay and very local to town 👍

Perfect bed and breakfast This place was in the most perfect spot to visit Valkenburg. It is in walking distance of all the sites to see and tons of restaurants. The breakfast was wonderful and customer service was top notch.

Great dinner place! We came in and the staff is very friendly and attentive! The pesto linguini is amazing, tastes like you are in Italy! Highly recommend eating here.

We had dinner with a group of 30 people. The order was taken quickly. The starters came quickly and the main courses were delivered on time. The quality of the pizza and pasta was very good. Typical Italian (thin, large pizza) and large pasta portions. Very good quality. This is what a good and pleasant meal must be like.

This hotel is perfectly situated in a pedestrian area in the centre but the only negative is no lift & winding stairs

Everything was good even before I got there as had a friendly call from the host checking my arrival time when I was on my way. Centrally located hotel but its entrance is hidden behind the tables of a local restaurant. My room was a good size with pleasant décor and had a nice feel to it. Internet is good without the issues of having to log in each time you switch a device on. Media access on TV...

This hotel is situated right in the middle of the city center. It's quite outdated. The rooms and breakfast room make you feel like you walked into a place in the 70s. Good Location easy access to motorway and walkable to town centre in 5/10 minutes which has some lovely restaurants, Good power shower. Nice outside space and secure gated parking on site. Ok Smelled terrible in the room. Awful room freshener. Maybe to try to cover up the smell of cigarettes/tobacco in the toilet? Staff were very kind. We were waked up early in the morning where they came in to check our towels?? Also not able to put occupied on the door… Overall ok place. Not coming back though.

A spontaneous booking at de Heek, we stayed for two night. The room was pleasant, price and location good, but the best of all was the service of the new owners. They are so friendly and have lots of good advise, one feels so welcome.

We had a great stay in a simple yet tidy room. The temperature was just right, and having a small fridge was super convenient. The bed was comfortable, and the shower was excellent. While €100 for one night felt a bit pricey, it was reasonable compared to other hotels in the area. The only thing to note is that the tourist tax (€5) had to be paid in cash. Parking was free and conveniently located...

A nice stay in this place. Cozy inside the room but sometimes you can hear people walking or doing something upstairs. The breakfast was amazing and tasty. I fully recommend to include it. Clean spacious rooms. Fully equipped. The breakfast is good, wide choice. A nice half hour walk to the center of Valkenburg. Nice quiet hotel. Downside, there are some tiles on the terrace on the first floor. Makes it a bit noisy. Other than that, the hotel is in good order. Worth repeating 👍

An overnight stay with a motorcycle holiday. Was very hot on the second floor with only a fan. Also clean and good breakfast.

A simple but functional hotel. The room was very clean. The hostess was extremely friendly and accommodating. Lactose-free products were provided for breakfast upon request. The location is excellent, just a few minutes from the town center and the caves. Free parking is available in the courtyard. We would gladly return.

The traditional Hotel Heynen in Valkenburg has been in existence for over 100 years and is now run with great dedication by its new owner. We booked spontaneously while driving from The Hague to Maastricht and didn't arrive until around 9:30 p.m. Despite the late hour, we received a very friendly welcome. This is a small hotel within 10 minute walking distance of the town centre. It's very cosy, with the seasonal decor (December stay) adding to the armosphere, and clean, and the owners are very hospitable and helpful. Heating system is great; you'll feel warm and toasty with -1 outside. Breakfast consists of a huge spread that gets you going well into the afternoon.

Rémy and Desiree are hoteliers at heart. Great warm welcome, very clean rooms and a decent breakfast. Very unfortunate that we had to break down due to lockdown. Valkenburg was empty and quiet. But we will definitely come back to Remi and Desiree
