Courage Valkenburg Hotel in Valkenburg

This hotel is perfectly situated in a pedestrian area in the centre but the only negative is no lift & winding stairs

Everything was good even before I got there as had a friendly call from the host checking my arrival time when I was on my way. Centrally located hotel but its entrance is hidden behind the tables of a local restaurant. My room was a good size with pleasant décor and had a nice feel to it. Internet is good without the issues of having to log in each time you switch a device on. Media access on TV offers a wide range of channels including BBC. Breakfast buffet extensive and the host sits on the terrace outside whilst guests eat rather than sitting at his desk which happens to be in the same room. The hotel has a stash of books and games for guest use which I thought was a nice touch. Cannot fault the hotel as gave me what I needed. The door closure in my room needed repairing and occasionally serving was missed. Did not affect my stay though. On the last day I was asked if there was anything I needed by the host who cares for the comfort of his guests. Would stay there again.

Inexpensive and friendly staff. Perfect location in Valkenburg for restaurants and sites and ideal for touring Limburg and the Eiffel park on Belgium and Germany.

Quaint little hotel, in the heart of Valkenburg. Amazing location! Beautiful room (201); cozy, clean, bright and freshly renovated. It is simple, but has everything you need for a short stay and is centrally located to explore Valkenburg. Super friendly and personable host, very welcoming. Delicious breakfast buffet, and private secure parking at the back! Will come stay here again :) good friendly service, and great value.

I visited this hotel with my boyfriend over the weekend and we were very pleased with our choice! The location couldn't be better. It's in a lovely part of the city center. The staff was friendly and attentive. Our room (room 201) was wonderful, clean and tidy. It had a king bed, with two single beds. The bathroom was spacious and the shower was clean. The water pressure could be slightly stronger, but not a huge deal. Breakfast was simple (typical Dutch) with breads, meats, cheeses, jam etc. It was great value for money and we'd stay here again.

This hotel is situated right in the middle of the city center. It's quite outdated. The rooms and breakfast room make you feel like you walked into a place in the 70s. Not in a bad way though because the rooms are well-kept and equipped with a smart flat screen TV. If you prefer a quiet place, don't stay here because you can hear the loud music from the club next door until late in the evening but I'd imagine you get noise in any hotel located in this street. All in all a pretty okay place to stay with friendly staff and a sober breakfast.

Friendly, clean, free parking, perfect location, top notch restaurant and so friendly I'm mentioning it again.
