Hotel Walram in Valkenburg

The hotel has a lovely ambience on entrance. The staff are friendly and the price is reasonable. The breakfasts are lovely, varied with both hot and continental. My favourite was the fresh fruit bowl and lots of different breads/pastries. Main meal at tea time is simple 3 course.
The bedrooms are badly designed and could do with soundproofing. We struggled to open the door because the bed was in the way. The bathroom needs better ventilation and could do with redesigning.

Hotel was located in Central location so was ideal for visiting the various town attractions. Much of the central area was pedestrianised and flat.It was a lovely place to visit. We stayed at the Walram Hotel , friendly staff, accommodation clean, very good value for money.

Fabulous hotel, clean and comfortable. The staff are wonderful friendly and very helpful. Food was good and plentiful.

Stayed at hotel as part of a coach party. Rooms are basic but adequate. The evening meal was delicious. All cooked perfectly. I had the fish which was cooked to perfection and my husband had the chicken which was tender and not dried out. In addition there was a salad bar and soup which was very tasty as well. All washed down with a glass of white wine from the bar.

A lovely hotel set in fabulous Valkenburg. Staff are incredibly polite, friendly & accommodating and can't do enough for you.
The hotel decor is plush, modern & has a welcoming vibe.
We're here with Parrys International, and have been treated extremely well, making our New Year 2026 Experience one to remember.

Stayed as part of a Caledonian Travel coach tour. Room was fine if rather small with limited storage space. Kettle and coffee sachets etc provided. I had a nice view of the market in the square. Rooms were really well cleaned each day. Excellent heated swimming pool although very limited changing facilities and only public showers - wish I had brought a robe. You need to bring down your own towels. Check opening times. I am surprised by some of the reviews. I found a good selection of products at breakfast including fresh fruit salad, cheese and ham, bacon, scrambled or boiled eggs and a good selection of bread and pastries. We were half board and enjoyed the meals - there is a small salad buffet, soup, main - 2 choices and dessert, so if you didn’t like something you could fill up on the other courses. Wine was 5 euros a glass although it seemed easier to get drinks from the bar before to bring in. The only downside was no water provided only hot drinks. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location of the hotel is excellent for Valkenburg. I would definitely return but if not on my own would pay for a superior room to get a bit more space.

Stayed at Hotel Walram as part of a Leger Christmas market trip. The hotel was stylish, clean and provided comfortable rooms. Breakfast was generous and although the dinner choices were limited ,my dietary needs were catered for by helpful staff. All the hotel staff were friendly and welcoming. The central location was a real bonus so we could literally step out into the Christmas market and town.

Stayed a couple of nights while on a trip , great hotel , in good location , staff friendly , nice swimming pool , hotel was all decorates for Christmas , which was beautiful. Right next to all the Christmas shops and restaurants. Great stay for a few days

We have recently stayed at the hotel Walram in the town of Valkenburg in the Netherlands 🇳🇱 for our second time and it will certainly not be the last .
The hotel is centrally located in the town and restaurants and bars are within easy walking distance if required .
The hotel is very clean and rooms comfortably decorated , we had a jacuzzi bath in our room which was a very nice addition - beds are extremly comfortable.
The breakfast was self service and of great quality also staff continually topping up bread rolls - fruit - milk - cereals etc which was great - you certainly won't go hungry.
The reception staff and bar staff were excellent and so so friendly which made our stay that little bit more enjoyable .
The hotel cleaners do a sterling job with clean towels and cleaning the room every day and they take that extra care around the hotel making it look outstanding .
The swimming pool was excellent and very clean .
Will this be our last visit definatley not - this time was for a visit to the xmas markets but its equally nice in the summer .
