Restaurant De Blauwe Gans is a must-see for everyone. If you're looking for a snack and a drink after a stroll on the beach or a pleasant evening with friends, this restaurant is the place for you. They offer a balanced menu with fish, meat, and vegan dishes. You can also choose from a wide selection of wines and beers. There's something for everyone. The dishes are fresh and the price/quality ratio is excellent. The staff and service are very welcoming and helpful. The ladies take the time to chat, and you always feel welcome. The restaurant is clean and well-maintained. Dogs are allowed, which is a plus. My children are the fourth generation of our family to join the Blue Goose.

Lovely seaside hotel with affordable restaurant. Salmon dish was delicious, and my husband enjoyed the sole. This is our place we stay at when we come here from Canada or on our way back. Great to watch the sun set on the balcony.

Dated building and rooms with the charm of the late 80s. However, perfectly clean and missing nothing. Very pleasant staff. Prominently placed in the center of town and at the same time as near to the beach as can be.

Come here every year for the GP Zandvoort. Rooms are small and basic but they are clean and the staff is amazing. There is no airco so always had the windows open. Breakfast is great and parking is down the road. This place is the perfect base for the GP Zandvoort.

The location was great; right on the boulevard and with a view of the ocean. Our hostess was very friendly and helpful. We also liked the sauna that we used.

We were invited to a wedding in Nordwijk and wanted to stay 2 days longer. As we entered the hotel and then our room - we were shocked. In the last 10 years i didn'T make such experiences even in much lower price hotels. The room had about 30 degrees or more, there was no air condition installed - and the only!!! window wasn't be able to open. The bathroom also had no window. Moreover the room had like 10qm although Booking told us 18qm. The hotel staff told us they were fully booked so we couldnt change the room and had to stay in this "prison". We werent able to sleep the whole night, therefore fully stressed and tired at the wedding. We also had to pay those 2 nights. If you are in Nordwijk - go for another Hotel.

Perfect location in front of the beach with a lovely view. Although the decor and furnishing are very old, with smelly carpet in the room and a little rusty bathtube. It would definitely need a remodeling. The breakfast was good and the quality/price at the end it's okay.

Not a bad hotel for a few days.

Pro's:
- very close to the beach right on the boulevard.
- very clean room
- exceptional staff
- good breakfast buffet

Con's:
- old musty
- rooms are very small
- only 1 power outlet in the entire room
- no airco only a table fan

For a couple days this would be a great hotel the rooms are just to small the entire hotel is outdated and could use a renovation.
