Convenient, clean and good value

No breakfast, had to go next door to rembrandt and pay 16euros for two slices of bread and a dolls cup of orange juice.
Stairs up to the attic room were steep and tiny and dangerous.
Room was cold with only a portable oil radiator for heat.
I think 150 euros a night for this was too much.

Hotel was clean and safe. The staff was very accommodating and freindly. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Right in middle of everything . Small room but perfect for what u need. Nice comfy bed, bathroom/shower, TV. No a/c but room did have fan kept room fresh. Across there’s a pub, a lot of food options in walking distance. 7 min walk from Leiden Central Station. Very pleasant stay.

We booked three rooms here for family members. All 3 rooms were clean had comfortable beds,and were pretty well equipped ( hairdryer, tea coffee etc). Rooms were quiet ( we stayed Sunday to Tuesday). Like many older Dutch properties the stairs are pretty steep; they do have a handrail and were no issue for us but may not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues or with a lot of very heavy luggage. We personally found the check in and key collection straight forward and the receptionist af the sister hotel Rembrandt ( where you pay and check out) very friendly and helpful. Overall, we found it a good,value for money stay in spotlessly clean rooms.

Clean hotel in the center of Leiden. We were not bothered by the environment at all. The bed was nice and soft. However, I had not read anything about how small the toilet with the shower was. My boyfriend and I are both tall and we couldn't go to the toilet with the door closed. We also had difficulty using the shower due to the tightness and how low the ceiling/wall near the shower was. Pity. Especially in a country where the average resident is quite tall. Overall an average visit to this hotel. Unfortunately not again for us. Quite fine for the price, but next time we will look for a more expensive hotel.

Clean rooms and that's nice, but the bathrooms are very small. The beds, on the other hand, are large and good. Location is perfect! Right in the center with a view of the animal market. There is no reception. You can pick up the key at the Rembrandt hotel.
