3 star hotels in Bergen

Since I thought I will have checkin later than 11AM it wasn't worth the money for me since I came at 9PM

Staying for the fourth time (alternating with Hotel Alkmaar Grand) in the past two decades. This hotel has not changed much, except expanding within and outside premises in the same location (Stationweg) right opposite to Train and Bus Station. Rooms got modernized more. The service was excellent the owner was welcoming and friendly. He helped us with our painters and bicycles and offered bike parking which was very important for us. Very friendly & helpful staff. We enjoyed a complimentary coffee before leaving on our cycle trip to Texel .

Service is great, it's very close to the intercity train station. Room was very clean, just one feedback since it's a split bed it wasn't very comfortable

The Hotel was okay... The Beds felt a little to soft and the building was old and had his good times seems. The personal was very friendly and helpful.

A warm and personal welcome. It is very homely and has a cozy atmosphere. Rich breakfast, good menu for dinner. Only downside is the size of the toilet (only in the single room???). For tall people it is difficult to close the toilet door, knees against the door.

The hotel is completely surrounded by greenery and is only a 5-minute walk from the center. The front desk was friendly and straightforward. Our room was very small but clean and the beds were very good. The hotel is a bit noisy and there are no coat hooks in the room, as well as in the bathroom. We had a great weekend with the extended family(34 people) at Huize Glory. Everything was arranged very well, with a good breakfast and a staf who are friendly and flexible. The place is ideally suited near the sea, it brings back memories of times long gone. Definitely recommended.

The location is super. The staff is very friendly. The building has lots of character but needs more TLC. The view of the sea from our room and the breakfast area is very nice. Temperature control in the room is a bit complex, through radiator valves. There are infrared panels but not sure how to control those. All in all a 3.5 out of 5 experience.

Warm, friendly staff. Went above and beyond to help and make our stay comfortable. (Thank you Sabine :)). Beautiful location, only 10 mins walk from Bergen-aan-Zee beach. Great natural ‘ speelbos’. Loved the friendly house cats who always greeted us outside.

Very good restaurant with quite exclusive food, very kind personnel, and after you finished your dish ask for the tower, you will get directed upstairs to a wonderful view!

Nice location. I only had some food in their restaurant. The soup of the day was really tasty. They have a nice selection of tea. The comes in a form of a small letter with its story. Very nice done. The building is really old and you feel that once you are inside. Very old fashion. Once outside you can hear sound of the sea especially if its a bit windy.

We have stayed with our large family in Huize Glory for a weekend. The atmosphere of a historical mansion was for us a unique and nice experience. Despite being a historical building, the rooms are all clean and beds are very good. We enjoyed the breakfast in the great hall viewing the sea in the distance. My absolute favorite hotel in Bergen and in North Holland overall. My nephew and I have been traveling here every summer for almost ten years and it is always a relief to arrive here. I had a lovely time. The staff were very friendly and absolutely great! I felt very much at home. The approximately to the sea was great. The breakfast buffet was good and absolutely sufficient. Lovely old hotel with nice restaurant. Staff were lovely and very helpful. We found them very accommodating.

The place is wonderful, but the bed is not a mattress, is uncomfortable. All the rest is really nice, and nce staff too.

The hotel room was fine. The bed was just awful! If you coughed, your partner would be shaking in bed. Very unstable. Perhaps blind the bathroom door; if you go to the bathroom at night and turn on the light, the whole bedroom is illuminated. Breakfast was fine; perhaps put trash cans on the tables. Otherwise, everything was fine, and we enjoyed Alkmaar.

The room was great, champagne was included, the staff was friendly, the room was clean, not too hot, not too cold, and it was perfectly located in the city center! I'll definitely be back!

Very central accommodation, ideal for exploring the city. The central common area is very pleasant.

It was a very cute space that was perfectly suited to the town of Alkmaar. The room had fluffy mattresses and a clean bathroom. It's a shame that there were no charging outlets on the top bunk of the bunk bed, but I was able to sleep well. The town is very lively yet traditional, and the food was delicious.

the hotel is perfect for dog owners, quiet and peaceful. employees are very friendly, if there are parking spots outside, but theres a sign on it, don’t hestitate to walk in and ask if you could park your car out front.

The hotel is really recommended for dog owners. We stayed in a very clean bungalow, which was very quiet and relatively spacious. The selection at the breakfast buffet is good. The staff was very helpful and friendly to the guests. If you are willing to walk 500 meters, there is free parking. The way to the beach by car takes 10 minutes.

Good hotel, we went there with a dog. It’s great to have a door straight to a little courtyard, in order to give your dog some space to play. Parking is a bit tricky, but you can park for free within 10 minutes walk. Or buy a card with the hotel so you can park within the vicinity of the hotel, about 2 minutes walk. Overall good quality for your money. Great for dog owners.

good hotel, but we had problem with breakfast. Big group from Chinese got up earlier, and after them we had only tea & bread. After a new portion of food was brought, the manager smiled and said that breakfast is over.

The staff of this hotel deserves a big thumbs up. We were able to celebrate our Grandma's 75th birthday with the family in a special way in this weird corona time. The staff has done a lot to ensure that this runs smoothly according to guidelines. In short, top staff, good food, nice location near the beach and options for larger groups. Breakfast was very tasty. The rooms are clean and advanced, the Staffel is friendly and speaks netherlandish, german and english. The bathroom also has a rain shower, I liked it very much.

My mum and I truly loved our stay here at Villa Kranenbergh. Harold and Helen are lovely hosts who have created a true gem in Bergen. But it is their true kind spirit that makes this place so special. They have created a beautiful boutique hotel that's so charming, with a wonderful staff, they have such a great eye for design and their hotel is right in the center of town. What a wonderful stay, We were met on arrival and shown around, it feels more like a home than a hotel. The facilities are excellent, the attention to detail is fantastic and everything was absolutely spotless. We look forward to staying again!

I can’t imagine a better stay anywhere seaside in the Netherlands! The owners, Harald & Helen, are fabulous. It is evident that they have an eye for detail and hospitality. Extremely small room with bizarre lighting scheme. Bed was comfortable but pillows were horrendous. Very nice breakfast. Outdoor street parking was available. Strangely, the establishment failed to provide an invoice upon checkout. I followed up with three emails and ultimately had to call the 'manager' to get it.
