The staff was so helpful and nice! The food was delicious as well and beautifully made. All in all, I really enjoyed my dining experience there and would love to go there again.

We stayed in the 'studio' , which is located outside the hotel in the Dunes next to a private ljving. It was a nice place to stay. When people also staying at the apartment above the studio, you can hear them walking and even when they are using the coffee machine. The staff of the Hotel was very nice and friendly. Breakfast was ok.

The service was excellent the owner was welcoming and friendly. He helped us with our painters and bicycles and offered bike parking which was very important for us. Very friendly & helpful staff. We enjoyed a complimentary coffee before leaving on our cycle trip to Texel .

We were there for 5 days. Room and breakfast were perfect, the staff was also super friendly! We'd love to come back. Only to recommend.
The atmosphere is right here... Friendly service, nice comfort rooms (nr13) and a very reasonable price in the high season. The room was very clean and modernly furnished. The bathroom had a window and a jacuzzi. Only the toilet was very cramped. The hotel is very noisy. Nevertheless 5 stars because of the relationship between price and performance.
Nice staff and then the location, location, location! The extra charge for the room was worth it, we were still too big for the beds and the bathroom :). The breakfast times were all generous, with dog no problem.
Very extensive breakfast buffet. Lovely comfortable beds. Nice that the dog is allowed and you can park for free.

The staff of this hotel deserves a big thumbs up. We were able to celebrate our Grandma's 75th birthday with the family in a special way in this weird corona time. The staff has done a lot to ensure that this runs smoothly according to guidelines. In short, top staff, good food, nice location near the beach and options for larger groups. Good quality hotel with adequate breakfast. The rooms are not overly modern and -common in the Netherlands- not oversized bathrooms. However, one is usually not coming here to stay indoors, but go to the beach. Short walks to the two primary beach access walkways.

Bed too soft This was good, but sleeping was not easy. The bed is too soft. This is an old building totally fresh inside the room and modern, but still there are windows with a single glass. So in winter it's better to keep the warm airco, which is also a little bit noisy if you do like to sleep in silence.
It’s a cold, drafty building with some strange electrical setups: in order to keep the heat on the bathroom light had to be on all night. It’s a little hard to walk around the hotel because of the layout.
The hotel is located in Alkmaar, a beautiful city not far from Amsterdam. You can walk there from the main station, only 10 minutes. The hotel is based in a renovated school, which makes it very interesting with its own appeal. The front staff was very nice and even recommended us restaurants in the vicinity, plus provided us with a map. The breakfast was delicious!

A warm and personal welcome. It is very homely and has a cozy atmosphere. Rich breakfast, good menu for dinner. Only downside is the size of the toilet (only in the single room???). For tall people it is difficult to close the toilet door, knees against the door.
The hotel is completely surrounded by greenery and is only a 5-minute walk from the center. The front desk was friendly and straightforward. We had very quiet and clean room. Hotel is in beautiful location, people work there are very nice, breakfast is tasty. Late check in is possible. A really nice hotel in an excellent location. The staff are very friendly and the room was really nice. No coffee making facilities in the room but they are downstairs.
Awesome hotel in Alkmaar! The service was excellent, great coffee, cake and then a full big breakfast! Our room was beautiful right on a canal. Believe there are three rooms right on the canal level. You should definitely stay here, I will be coming back.

Warm, friendly staff. Went above and beyond to help and make our stay comfortable. (Thank you Sabine :)). Beautiful location, only 10 mins walk from Bergen-aan-Zee beach. Great natural ‘ speelbos’. Loved the friendly house cats who always greeted us outside.

Nice location. I only had some food in their restaurant. The soup of the day was really tasty. They have a nice selection of tea. The comes in a form of a small letter with its story. Very nice done. The building is really old and you feel that once you are inside. Very old fashion. Once outside you can hear sound of the sea especially if its a bit windy.
We have stayed with our large family in Huize Glory for a weekend. The atmosphere of a historical mansion was for us a unique and nice experience. Despite being a historical building, the rooms are all clean and beds are very good. We enjoyed the breakfast in the great hall viewing the sea in the distance.
