The location is excellent for travelers: a convenient bus route connects directly to the airport and the Haarlem train station, which offers effortless, tap-and-go public transport access to Amsterdam Central. No tickets needed, it couldn't be easier!
The hotel itself is modern, immaculately clean, and highly presentable.
My only slight disappointment, and the reason for the four-star rating instead of five, was the room setup. We booked a double, but received a twin with the beds just pushed together. The resulting gap made it feel like a twin room anyway, which defeated the purpose.
Despite the bed issue, the stay was great. The restaurant food and drinks were excellent, and the facilities were superb. I especially appreciated the business area, which was stocked with on-tap hot and cold drinks, fruit, and snacks. The Wi-Fi was fast and very easy to connect to.
I would happily stay here again.

We were very pleased with our stay at the Van de Valk hotel. Well situated just out side of the centre. Lots of easy parking. Rooms were on the big side giving you lots of room.Tea and coffee facilities were separate on level 3 in a beautiful lounge and always available 247!! The breakfasts were amazing… quality/ choice and extremely good value for money. Rating at the time was 8.9 on hotels but should be… in my opinion at least 9.6!! Highly recommended 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
The bus stop is right outside, so you can be in the city center in just a few minutes!
