Moxy Amsterdam Schiphol Airport in Hoofddorp

We loved it! From the late-night check-in (reception) to our departure. Upon entering the hotel, you immediately feel relaxed and calm in the beautifully furnished rooms with plenty of fun games. Our room was luxurious, neat, modernly furnished, and fully equipped. The breakfast buffet was delicious, extensive, and varied, with plenty of fresh produce. In short, a beautiful, beautiful hotel with exceptional hospitality and a place to truly unwind. We'll definitely be back!

A great place to stay! It's close to the airport with a 24-hour free shuttle service. The staff is very pleasant and friendly. The atmosphere is calm and the rooms are nice and clean. I highly recommend staying here for a short trip to Amsterdam or if you have a layover. Tip: If you want to go into the city center, you should get a day ticket from the airport to the main station. This allows you to travel throughout Amsterdam and includes the express train (20 minutes) into the city.

We had the best experience at this hotel. We needed a hotel close to the airport with good service so we could relax before a long flight. This was exactly what we needed! Clean, comfortable, delicious and varied breakfast included in the room price. I would like to give a special mention to the receptionist named Andrei. Thanks to his help, our stay was particularly pleasant. Thank you, I recommend it wholeheartedly🤍

We decided to book this hotel as we had a long flight from Shanghai before a connecting flight to Ireland that would have arrived very late. It was a good choice. The hotel is perfect for this scenario: the rooms are nice, comfortable beds, nice shower etc and very restful-nicely lit. and surprisingly not very noisy despite being only a few kms from Schiphol. The staff had also prepared the sofa bed for us on arrival, which was a nice touch-one of us probably woudl have just slept on the sofa as a sofa otherwise. The staff were very nice and the breakfast was excellent. The only slight gripe would be the hallway looked liek it could have doen with a bit of hoovering, but honestly that was not really a big deal. There is also a nice bar in th elobby area plus a restaurant-we didnt; try the evenign meals on offer but as noted above the breakfast was excellent so I would imagine dinner woudl be ok too. There is a gym but we didn't try that so no idea if it's any good. The hotel was completed in I think 2014 or 2016 and it feels very modern and new.
One other thing I thought was a bit off-you have to pay 8.50 per-person for the airport shuttle that takes you from the hotel to the airport (it's free from the airport to the hotel) This seems a bit petty to be honest. A taxi costs about 11 euro for the same journey so effectively the shuttle is almost the same price and if you are a group of two or more, the shuttle makes no sense. I would suggest the hotel considers either offering the service for free (they can just add a small amount to the already not expensive room rate) or just not have a service at all and everyone can take a taxi. Location wise, the hotel woudl have to be inside the terminal to be any closer to Schiphol-for this price you wonn't find anywhere better located. Overall an excellent hotel and I will most likely stay there again on the return from my next visit to China.

Nice but staff at nite was very unhelpful at the reception

The room was great, spacious, and well-equipped. The breakfast was delicious with a good variety of options. It's about a 7-8 minute walk to the nearest bus stop and not too far from the airport, which was very convenient.

We arrived in the morning after a long flight to Amsterdam. The hotel service was impeccable - they provided us an early check-in (at no cost) and gives us an opportunity to rest and shower. Shuttle to and fro to the airport is a breeze (15mins to 30mins interval). The room is huge and can accommodate up to 3 person (1 on the sofa bed). Great view too as you can see the aeroplanes queuing to fly off. Location is not too far off from the airport. Overall very satisfying stay!

The staff were excellent, and the room was very clean and spacious. I stayed for three days. The airport shuttle bus is free if you're a member. The room is quite large, which makes this hotel more convenient than staying in the city center if you're flying in and out of Amsterdam within 2-3 days, as you don't have to drag your luggage into the city. Plus, you get more space.

The price always fluctuates; sometimes booking early is more expensive than booking closer to the date. I booked early and ended up paying over 700 more for three days.

(I don't recommend the breakfast. We bought two separate breakfasts for 19 euros per person, and there was very little to eat – mostly basic bread items. It's not even close to the quality of breakfast you'd find at a 4 or 5-star chain hotel in Sweden).

Overall, I'm satisfied and would recommend it.

Unfortunately, the room type I booked did not match the room type I was given.
