Great hotel, unfortunately no vegan options for breakfast and very bad wifi connection.

To whom this may concern. I was very disappointed in the hotel hotline, the Jung lady who picked up the phone spoke Dutch and I asked her, if she speaks English and she said no and hung up the phone. The call was taken place at 21:35 on Wednesday 25 of February. Very unpolite & unprofessional. My work colleagues like the hotel, I will still consider to book a room. Sorry for the bad news

Some driving distance from Middelburg center but great breakfast and amazing facilities! Good gym, pool, Sauna, steam bath etc. Would for sure stay here again in the future!

The hotel and its amenities were excellent, and I will certainly return. The rooms—and the hotel overall—were exceptionally clean, so compliments to the housekeeping team. All the staff were polite and welcoming across the reception, restaurant, and other facilities. My only suggestion is to expand the restaurant’s food options. I had a very nice stay in this hotel ! I wanted to have a good rest there and I had it : there is a very good sound insulation between rooms, the beds are comfortable and the hotel is in overall very clean. The spa part is quite small but you have everything you need : cold and hot sauna / hammam / swimming-pool, even a nice gym (if only I knew !) A great hotel but if you need to do any work online you will struggle. The wifi is intermittent and slow doesn’t begin to cover it. The area also has shocking mobile coverage so very difficult to work from here.

Very quaint cheerful bed & breakfast homey style. Very clean and cheerful a converted house within walking distance of the beach (two blocks) and the town (maybe 5 blocks). Breakfast is brought to your room as there is no dining room or restaurant, it’s a large picnic basket that had everything that we could have wanted (breads, warm egg, warm pancakes, Jams , Orange juice, bananas).

It was absolutely fabulous and amazing ... unfortunately I had to leave a day before because something was wrong at home but it was awesome

Stayed @ the hotel before. Good breakfast lots of choices. Room and beds(two singles) are basic but comfortable. Bathroom could use an update. The bath tub shower combination ended up giving issues with water running onto the floor. Would prefer a plain shower stall and no tub. Got some issues with the electronic key. 3 time I had to go back to reception for a new key.. as the old one locked me out...

Room at the back, but probably upgrades possible. Large TV, modern bathroom, coffee/tea maker. Good soft matress, takes time to get used to. Breakfast is not the best: solely continental level with only 2 hot dishes. Sauna (ask ahead to switch it on) is good, pool is maybe 25' which is 2-3' colder than a hotel pool should be. Dinner needs reserving, magnificent river view; Half Board diner choices...

Great staff on reception, good breakfast and view from restaurant. Hotel itself feels basic and tired. The room was clean but smelt a little musty. Didn’t help that the weather wasn’t great for our 1 night stay but hotel and location just felt a bit grey and depressing.

The place needs updating. Needs shampoo and better dryer. Very tiny bathroom. Coffee pot was broken. Customer service was minimal

Good value, clean with attentive staff We stayed in a nice room, clean, plenty of space with a good strong shower - no bath. However to room could do with better lighting especially over the wardrobe area where the safe was - could hardly see the numbers! Also the only mirror was in the bathroom

Nice clean and efficient hotel. We arrived after a long day at 2200hrs. Check was quick and efficient. Unfortunately, the food service stopped at 2100hrs but they offered to cook us pizza which was very kind and absolutely delicious. Parking was easy and plentiful. Rooms are clean, well equipped and perfectly functional. I will definitely be using this hotel in the future.

Can't find any more hotels with queen beds only 2 beds chasing the mattresses all night. Also can't find business hotels any more when you are for business you need to have an open check out.

From the outside, it doesn't look like a hotel but more like a large residential apartment building . But it is a very nice hotel with friendly helpful staff. The room was nice and comfortable, and the breakfast buffet ok. There is a safe bicycle storage in a garage

reception desk very good. Personnel at reception desk very helpful. Evening meals and breakfast service not up to 3 star standard. Service at room makeup each day lacking in replacements.

This is great choice... if you enjoy peace & quiet but also want to be near the town. A really nice hotel!

No A/C, and the sun hits hard on the fully glassed window. Need to stay in the dark with the current drawns to make it bearable. Only a fan is provided, which makes too much noise to be able to listen to the volume controlled TV

A nice business hotel, functional, with good staff, decent breakfast, huge parking space and nice surroundings (quiet neighborhood). A 5-minute drive from the Terneuzen coal terminal, this is of course the biggest advantage of the location for visiting vessels.

Good location and ambiance from the hotel

The staff were very kind to us. We had booked a double room, but moved to the family room at a small extra cost - for more comfort. The breakfast is excellent. We will stay here again.

Good hotel The staff were friendly, the breakfast was good and we had a nice view of the canal from our room. It wasn’t the biggest room (there was only space for one bedside table) but the beds were comfortable and it was quiet. There was good safe storage for our bikes.

The hotel is in a great location. The city center is just a stone's throw away. The room was incredibly small; it was more suitable for a single room; you could barely walk past each other. The hygiene wasn't great. There are dirty yellow stains on the duvet and curtain. The glassware at breakfast was dirty and worn out. There were no fruit juices because the machine was broken. No jugs of orange juice...

Location is perfect 3min walk from the train station and 5min from the centre. Breakfast and facilities in the room could be better but in general very satisfied in terms of cleanliness, quiet and located in a safe area. Heating in the room is fine but no AC in rooms which might be an issue in summer.

This was my first visit to the area.... I am so happy that I selected this hotel. I look forward to returning with my wife.

A good night's sleep I was in Middelburg for a funeral, so I only stayed one night. The room was perfect for my needs - no complaints!

Actually, my wife and I stayed here in August 2023. This is good hotel, opposite the train station. We had a spacious room with two comfortable chairs. Modern bathroom; however, the (sliding) door is partially transparent, so if one of us visits the bathroom at night, the other wakes up as well. Breakfast was OK. The hotel was expensive (we paid over €200 for one night, including breakfast).

The hotel is in a great location within easy walking distance of the centre of Middelburg and at the same time is very quiet. The room we had was on the first floor with a small balcony. It had everything we needed. Breakfast was excellent with a variety of food and rinks. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful.

Very helpful friendly staff. The room were clean and kept tidy, if a little tired. The hotel food was very good but the evening meal was limited choice which did cause us any issues as we were out and about.

This hotel is a great place to stay in Middelburg. Me and my family stayed in 2 rooms for a weeks stay with free breakfast included. The breakfast was absolutely wonderful, there was a range of drinks from hot to cold, and a good selection of food, a little bit of continental and a little bit of hot food, which is always replenished by staff quite frequently. Did not appreciate having to give a half hour window for breakfast especially as it was very quiet. Also menu not clear at restaurant and no vegetarian option. Had to adapt normal menu to suit.

Very friendly staff with excellent multi lingual skills. Without exception, all great. Rooms clean and quiet. Quiet loction, 'no problems sleeping with windows open all night. Simply great. The quietest breakfast room I've ever experienced in a hotel. Breakfast as well as from the bed, the view of the sea, just wonderful. It was a pleasure!

Simply a beautiful hotel! We had a room with a sea view/dune view, the sea can be seen directly behind the dunes. Great breakfast, a nice family business and direct parking. Super clean, rooms are big and spacious. There is a safe included in the price and also a large bathroom with a tub. We have definitely found our hotel for Domburg!

Breakfast is brought to the room during the Corona period, so you can have breakfast on the balcony or in bed. You can choose the breakfast yourself - you get a list to tick. Tasted great! Super great hotel! Very clean and extremely friendly staff. The rooms are very modern and have a beautiful view of the sea from the 1st floor if you book with a sea view. The highlight is the great breakfast room, from which you can also see the sea and dunes. The food was delicious and the staff was really nice. Beach is right in front of you. I can only say: top, top, top!!!

We were very happy to find the hotel had kept its consistent good all round standards. Our spacious room with its outstanding shower made for a very relaxing stay along with the well balanced breakfast! We hope to be able to come and stay again.

Receptionist was ok, room was ok, big crack in washing bowl bathroom, beds were terrible. Breakfast was super. Personel very friendly. Parking on the premisses.

The reception is totally friendly and helpful. Breakfast is perfect. The hotel and the rooms are very clean. A few minutes (maybe 5 or so) walk to city centre and almost the same (a bit more) to the North See. If you are alone or with friends or your partner or if you are a family with kids, it's great for everyone. Just to recommend.

The hotel main attraction is of course the location, which is just a few meters from the shore. With an ocean view room this hotel is definitely worth the stay. The room was spotless clean and had all the necessities for a few days stay.

Very nice, clean hotel in the immediate vicinity of the beach, quiet and yet not far from the center. We had a cozy, large room with a sea view and relaxed here. Breakfast was more than ok, staff friendly and courteous. We will definitely come back next year.

Perfectly affordable, but super loud room (big gap below the door, thin walls as there would be none - so people walking by or next door are heard as you stand next to them). Very basic but good breakfast, a lot of dishes still occupying tables. Still very friendly stuff, and nice private parking 7min walk away. Pricepoint convincing in the middle of the center, so 4 starts instead of 3.

I was lucky to get a last-minute room for 3 nights at the hotel loved everything about it! Kindness of the owners and staff, great location and short walking distance to the beach, tasty food and nice house wine from the barrel, private parking.... I can only recommend it!

We didn't dtsy overnight - just had a late lunch there. Great food, nice atmosphere, nice interior, and a very friendly host und owns the hotel with the restaurant. Will come back.....
