A nice business hotel, functional, with good staff, decent breakfast, huge parking space and nice surroundings (quiet neighborhood). A 5-minute drive from the Terneuzen coal terminal, this is of course the biggest advantage of the location for visiting vessels.

It's ok. The dinner is semi good, the rooms are livable but nothing special, it's more like a good motel than a hotel. It could be better but for a quick stay it is not that bad. 3/5

Stay is good. Food is good. Friendly staff. Old construction though. Better carry a universal power pin if you want to charge your stuff... as they don't have sufficient number at the reception.

This hotel is around 4 kms from city center. Rooms r decent. Staff is warm & welcoming. Internet connectivity is better in this hotel compared to other available hotels in Terneuzen. Got big parking lot. There isnt any restaurant option nearby this location, may have to walk/drive to city center. No room service. Hotel has got smaller rooms, suites these r with extra space with common kitchen on floor...

The room was spacious, bathroom clean. The hotel overall looks good and the surrounding area is nice. The views from the restaurant are beautiful. Breakfast was good, includes fresh yoghurt and a lot of pastries to choose from.

Nice hotel. The room had enough space and was clean. The staff was nice and helpful. The breakfast was good. The restaurant was very good, especially the seasonal autumn meal ! You can enjoy a nice view on the sea whilst eating dinner and breakfast.

It's pretty decent. The room was spacious and lovely. But room 5 bathroom has a sound of a haunted house. Everytime you open the door, a soul leave from hell. 🔥

I'm from the USA so my review is for the English speaking guests traveling abroad. I stayed here for a week in July. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly and spoke enough English for us to communicate effectively. My room was clean, quiet, and the bed was amazingly comfortable (two twins pushed together). Good for a business trip. Quiet, lots of privacy and good breakfast. No airco, fridge or hairdryer (can be requested) but a lot of hotels in terneuzen do not provide this luxury.

This is quite a luxurious hotel and I wish I had more time and prepared better to make use of the welfare facilities (pool, etc.). Rooms were large and luxurious. We did not eat dinner at the hotel but drove to Vlissingen (where most places were closed). Nice area near by - along the canals. Bit too far to walk into town. The breakfast was only OK and I would have expected better for hotel of this...

So far, the best hotel I tried in Middelburg. The rooms are spacious and modern. Facilities are good, and the staff is friendly. Super easy access to the Golf course. Breakfast was OK.

The hotel rooms were of a high standard. The food and service in the restaurant was also of high quality. In addition, we enjoyed good service in the bar and terrace area. We stayed here for two nights, with two other couples, along with our e-bikes so we could spend each day on a different tour. The bike shed in the car park worked very well and we enjoyed some excellent tours in the area.

Excellent modern hotel with huge rooms and equally huge bathroom (walk in shower and tub). Hotel staff is very friendly. We opted to have dinner at the restaurant of the hotel because the hotel is not located in the town centre and from previous dinners at a Van der Valk restaurant we knew it's always high quality. The breakfast buffet was also very nice with a huge selection of all sorts of bread...

Very good experience, even in the worst moment of my life. I lost my only baby girl. Had to travel to Vlissingen all away from Portugal. They took care of me and my wife. Five stars no less.

I have stayed here often. Love the home feel of the hotel. Staff is not only helpful but easy on the eyes.

The first thing I noticed here was that The receptionist here is super nice. They were really helpful and understanding every time we were late. We confused the time of our breakfast as well as our checking time and every time they were very flexible and set up a new time with us. The room itself was also super nice! We had the penthouse suit and it was so worth it. We had a gorgeous view from there...

I've stayed here dozens of times for work, and usually the place is quite good, which is why I'll give it three stars. But today the Wi-Fi didn't work, the shower smelled like B.O., and the bathroom sink was clogged. That's a lot that was overlooked in one day.

All good, except the internet doesn't work in the rooms. The wifi connects, but no hosts can be resolved. Out of the room works ok.

In general, everything is good and I would recommend the hotel.

Feels just like home. Every room is uniquely designed, very well preserved and renovated rooms in a 300 years old building filled with characters. Breakfast is good and warmly prepared. Chinese, Thai and Korean cuisine just downstairs. Very convenient.

Very good and cozy hotel. The staff (owners) are really a nice couple who will make you feel at ease and home. The food is very good and the meat well cooked. Very tasty. For breakfast you have a good selection of things. Really an hotel I would recommend.

Personal hospitality. Option to get a breakfast every morning as take-away (all packed nicely). Breakfast generally good without buffet show. Good coffee (to go as well). Water, Nespresso, Tea available in the room by house. Daily cleaning very good. This place you'll feel as welcomed.

First of all, I want to thank a manager of the hotel Jamilla, she was very supportive and helped a lot with all my questions. It was almost a last-minute-booking, she replied very quickly. The room was cozy, I could increase a temperature a bit to get warm and in the morning I had a nice breakfast. Great quality, location and price!

The hotel decor is really nice and modern. The staff, Gamilla and pearl were so nice, helpful, approachable and friendly . Nothing was too much trouble.

Great location, close to everything. Great/nice rooms but some of them are a bit noisy. Great back terrace with good pears. Great personnel. Great (irish) coffee. Reception is closed after 6pm and there is no obvious entrance available. So entering the maze-like hotel for the first time after this hour may seem like a reversed "escape room". Public payed parking nearby.

It is a small, nice hotel but the room was very, very small - I mean you can hardly get by the bed, the acces scale is very steep, even dangerous- it is not recommended for old people. There is a great terrace, wonderful even but breakfast is at 8.30!! ..so we had to skip it at times..it has a great location, very close to the sea and center and, I almost forgot, you had free tea and coffee all around...

Lovely little Hotel, very clean ,perfect location

The breakfast buffet was sufficient and adapted. No one needs more. The location directly on the coast is priceless. The rooms were simple and very clean. The mattresses/bed were new and clean. We have nothing to complain about.

Great Danish restaurant. They know about seafood. The lunch menu catered for carnivores and vegetarians.

We had Bouillabaisse and sole for a dinner. It was tasty. Atmosphere is nice, sea view and good service made our evening complete.

I really like the hotel location, just besides the sea😊I enjoyed the quality service provided by the workers from the reception, kitchen to room service. I was also impressed with their cleanliness. Once I ordered food as room service and I was surprised of how fast the food was delivered to my room 😊I enjoyed my stay at this hotel! I recommend it to anyone visiting Zeeland in the near future 🥂

Good value, clean with attentive staff We stayed in a nice room, clean, plenty of space with a good strong shower - no bath. However to room could do with better lighting especially over the wardrobe area where the safe was - could hardly see the numbers! Also the only mirror was in the bathroom

Nice clean and efficient hotel. We arrived after a long day at 2200hrs. Check was quick and efficient. Unfortunately, the food service stopped at 2100hrs but they offered to cook us pizza which was very kind and absolutely delicious. Parking was easy and plentiful. Rooms are clean, well equipped and perfectly functional. I will definitely be using this hotel in the future.

Spent 3 nights at the hotel, fantastic location 15 minutes walk to the centre and 5 minutes walk to the train station. Receptionist Joelle went above and beyond to help when I had to extend my stay for an extra night...... first class customer service. Would highly recommend.

Nice hotel, good location near the beach. Clean, but rooms didn’t get vacuumed each day. We had sand dragged in on the first day on the floor for several days. Good breakfast. Overall would stay there again.

I have been here several times over the years. I love it. Everyone is always so friendly, our dog can always come with us. The food is great and the rooms are clean and comfy. FOr me the pool could be a little warmer, but thats all.

We were a touring group of cyclists. We were able to lock away the bikes safely and park the large support vehicle practically at the front door. The pool was a great opportunity to relax tired legs before a few beers before dinner. Food was good though a request to see the menus in advance to sitting down was declined. Odd but perhaps a local thing. Breakfast was good and a good start to another long...

Fabulous family-run property. Very quiet, clean and excellent location! The Markt is less than 10 min on foot. We stayed in an aparthotel suite for 10 days and it was a perfect home base. We had a small kitchen, living area, dining area and a large bathroom. The bidet was a great bonus. The bed was very comfortable and we slept so well. The staff were lovely and so accommodating. Lovely hotel close to the central station in Middelburg. Spacious room, all looking new and working well. It would have helped to receive after hours check in information a little sooner, but it all worked out fine.

Owner was very friendly and made sure we had a great time. In top of that the rooms were very nice, clean and had a great bed! Would recommend for anyone visiting Middelburg.

Otherwise everything was fine but If you have bad knees or loads of heavy luggage, consider again. No elevator.
