The bed in the room was quite narrow. The bathroom's exhaust fan and light were on the same switch, and the fan was incredibly loud. The bathroom itself was even bigger than the room, which was odd. When the bed was made, the electric blanket's switch was left right in the middle, under the bedspread, making it very uncomfortable to sleep on. The front desk staff were not welcoming and seemed quite arrogant towards Chinese guests, with no Chinese-speaking service available. We put up the 'please clean' sign at 10 AM, but by 3 PM, the room still hadn't been cleaned. The overall stay was a very poor experience. I probably won't be staying here again.

My trip was very tight, and I booked this place just a few days in advance – it was almost fully booked! It's about a 15-20 minute walk from Queenstown town center. The room was quite spacious and very quiet. There's an airport bus stop nearby, and the lake is right across the street, offering beautiful views!

location good

room quite dusty; continental breakfast was appalling; expensive and not worth the money- if you can afford to pay more, it's better to choose other accommodations of similar price; not recommended

This is our third time stay here, the advantages are walking dustance to town center, good view.
Service not good, room clean up service needs to improve, floor is dirty, bed sheet not tidy up well.

However, if you book your trip last minute, looking for a service apartment, this apartment is still a reasonable option

This was my favorite hotel throughout our entire trip to New Zealand. The views were absolutely stunning. The only drawback was the lack of an elevator, which made carrying our family of three's luggage a bit difficult. However, the room itself was impeccable.

Stay from 28 to 31 Dec, 2025. My jaw hit the floor when I found out how much we'd paid. $2000 for so called 'Superior' room which is just a pokey motel size room, with no where to sit. 2 single beds with lumpy old mattresses. Old fashioned wooden blinds, which were so dusty. Room cleaning service was very basic, beds weren't made etc. the layout meant carrying suitcases up and down stairs, and there was no assistance available when we were checking out. The receptionists were pleasant and helpful so no complaints there. I cannot recommend this the accommodation at all for so many reasons.

Nice view but poor cleanliness

1 night stay for family of 4 before heading to Lake Tekapo.  The Alpine 2 room suite was  cozy and the beds were comfortable.  Exactly what we need.

We booked a lake view room, it was beautiful. The only issue is the apartment is right on top of a busy road.

Nice view from the room and comfortable environment for long term stay. Friendly and helpful staff.
