The male staff at the front desk was very friendly. The female staff member, who seemed to be Asian, had a bad attitude and didn't smile. The young man helped me upgrade to a suite. The room had heating and was very quiet.
Fantastic location however property abit on the older side. But still ok
View was more than spectacular..recommend booking a lake view room, was able to sleep with the window open and the view of the lake all day and night was breathtaking.. food in restaurant so/so, easy walk into town to find everything you need
The blanket even did not change to new and the hair dryer out of order.
Hotel did not provide enough amenities during our stay. We have 3 guests and they only provide amenities for two people

The hotel sits on a hill, so it is quite a steep climbing. Think about every time going out and coming back.
Our first room wasn't great; the window faced a construction site. After we switched rooms, it was much better. The location is excellent, but it's uphill. The valet parking service was good, though.
Fantastic hotel with great location. Would highly recommend!
Garden view room was cute and the onsens were a fantastic amenity. Great stay overall, central to Queenstown CBD and fantastic restaurant.
The room was spacious and within 10 min walking distance to city centre. Car park fee is 40 dollars per day.
There was no concierge or staff assistance when we arrived, which was surprising for a hotel of this standard. When I later requested a late check-out by just one hour (until 12:00), I was told it was not possible because a group was arriving. However, when we returned to the hotel at 16:55 to pick up our car, we saw that the group had only just arrived.
Refusing a one-hour late check-out, especially...

Easy and quick check in. Hotel is very quiet and peaceful. Great view from room. Very spacious room. Housekeeping was awesome
I had a great stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Queenstown. It’s a very nice hotel that definitely offers good value for money. The location is excellent, with beautiful views and a peaceful atmosphere. Breakfasts were very good — both tasty and nicely presented. Overall, a great place to stay in Queenstown.
Water taxi is 14 NZD per pax. But you can buy a card and the price is 10 NZD per pax. 1 card is enough even for a group of people, just top up sufficient amount
The facilities were new and great, and the sleep was comfortable, but there are a few things that need improvement:
1️⃣ The water temperature at night wasn't good.
2️⃣ The Wi-Fi kept disconnecting and I couldn't even connect to it.
Parking costs 20 NZD per day.
The scenery is great and it's quiet. It comes with a small kitchen, but we were out all day and didn't use it. If you have more time, you could definitely buy some groceries and cook your own meals.
A short distance from town center but very quiet neighborhood.

Very nice hotel with a short drive to town. There is laundry machine at a very reasonable price.
Very comfortable stay. Great staff.
The hotel's location is good, but the facilities are very basic.
Good hotel, wonderful view from the room, and a comfortable bed. Ducks even came right up to our room, tapping on the glass door – they must be used to being fed! The breakfast was a bit sparse, but that's pretty typical for most hotels in New Zealand.
The hotel boasts elegant lake views, but I encountered a few issues:
1. **Location:** It's best to arrive by Uber as it's uphill and a bit of a walk to the bus stop. You'll need transportation to get around, as it's quite a distance from the city center.
2. **Room Issues:** My original room had a leaky ceiling and weak water pressure. The hotel offered an upgrade and complimentary breakfast for...
This hotel was better than expected, and you might even catch a glimpse of the lake.
One of top 3 best hotels I have stayed, that's counting many Waldorf Astoria, Ritz Carlton, St. Regis, SLH, and many others. From reception, to concierge, to bar tender, service is impeccable. It made our anniversary trip so much memorable. And the location is impeccable, right in front of Lake Wakatipu in the middle of Queenstown downtown. If you're in Queenstown, be sure to book Eichardt's. ...
Eichardt’s is hard to miss — a stately, historic building situated perfectly in the center of downtown Queenstown facing the lake. Elegant, both inside and out, the hotel is small, intimate and comfortable. My wife and I spent three terrific days at Eichardt’s towards the conclusion of our journey through New Zealand and found it to be exceptional. The staff was easy to communicate with before our...
This was the most wonderful hotel in a great location. Service was amazing. Katherine looked after us brilliantly also Sarah. Rohit was great in the restaurant. All the other people working there were amazing. Pre dinner drinks and canapés every night. Whisky and wine included. Lovely sitting in the private lounge. Spectacular views over the lake and walking distance to everything. I would recommend...
My daughter and I had a whirlwind two-week trip across New Zealand and our stay at Eichardt's Private Hotel was one of the highlights! The lake views from the Heritage suite could not be beat and everyone who worked there was professional and helpful. I"d like to call out Eduarda in the bar who made wonderful lattes for us and gave great tips and advice for our daily adventures. The beds were comfortable...
The hotel was a haven of warmth and comfort on a very cold, wet, and windy day. We loved our suite overlooking the lake and the service was excellent.
1st class in every category. Friendly, young engaged staff. Just amazing all round.
I had an exceptional experience during my stay at this hotel. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. The room was pristine and beautifully decorated, offering a serene and comfortable atmosphere. The amenities provided were top-notch, adding to the overall luxury of my stay. I particularly enjoyed the delicious meals at the on-site...
Full marks for the Spire Hotel! Great room, complimentary non-alcoholic drinks and snacks, complimentary breakfast, great staff. Really wonderful hotel! Thank you!
Great hotel and terrific room
The restaurant is being renovated so they sent us to have breakfast at a different hotel. Would have liked to know that in advance and may have booked the room without breakfast
We visited Queenstown for two nights and stayed at the Spire hotel. We had an amazing time, the rooms were enormous and adjoining with our two boys. The views off the balconies are unbelievable. We had coffee and a wonderful breakfast each morning. Eli the bartender made the trip even more wonderful! Right in the middle of town perfect location!
We stayed here for 6 nights and it was sensational. The team were kind and professional and helped to make our stay so much fun. Set right in the middle of town within minutes of the lake, the hotel was super handy and close to restaurants, pubs and shopping. The room was luxurious with a bottle of nz Pinot waiting for us on arrival.
The location is super good. It is convenient for eating, drinking and having fun. It is clean and tidy. I will stay there again next time

Fabulous - every bit of it. Absolutely recommend.
A lovely place to stay, the location is strategically located near to the centre. The famous Fergburger is less than 5 minutes walk. Parking is limited but you can try and ask for a reservation at the hotel. The room itself was spacious, comfortable bed and big room. Breakfast was simple but still very good. Enough amenities and everything is provided including complimentary snacks and drinks. Happy...

Very cute and private hotel with beautiful views. It only takes 5 mins to walk to the very central of Queenstown. And we booked some activities that need to catch shuttle it only takes us 4 mins walk to the bus stop. Overall, I was really enjoyed to stay in this such nice hotel!
The room was quite spacious, uniquely designed, and pretty comfortable. Complimentary afternoon tea was available in the afternoon, which was a nice touch.
The location is very convenient, very close to the center of town. The hotel is clean and comfortable, the staff is warm and thoughtful ~ There is free milk, soda, and snacks, and the milk is delicious!

My trip was very tight, and I booked this place just a few days in advance – it was almost fully booked! It's about a 15-20 minute walk from Queenstown town center. The room was quite spacious and very quiet. There's an airport bus stop nearby, and the lake is right across the street, offering beautiful views!
location good
room quite dusty; continental breakfast was appalling; expensive and not worth the money- if you can afford to pay more, it's better to choose other accommodations of similar price; not recommended
This is our third time stay here, the advantages are walking dustance to town center, good view.
Service not good, room clean up service needs to improve, floor is dirty, bed sheet not tidy up well.
However, if you book your trip last minute, looking for a service apartment, this apartment is still a reasonable option
This was my favorite hotel throughout our entire trip to New Zealand. The views were absolutely stunning. The only drawback was the lack of an elevator, which made carrying our family of three's luggage a bit difficult. However, the room itself was impeccable.
Nice view but poor cleanliness
1 night stay for family of 4 before heading to Lake Tekapo. The Alpine 2 room suite was cozy and the beds were comfortable. Exactly what we need.
The room was spotless, the staff friendly and efficient, a short walk into town and value for money.
Room was good but had some kind of underlying smell.
Room was spotless. Front desk helpful and smiling. Most convenient for the gondola and town centre
All the needed equipments are ready prepared.
Nice stay.
Great place- close to city centre & ski field.
Good facilities.
Excellent, friendly service
Just a short stroll to central Queenstown and an easy drive to Arrowtown avoiding busy Frankton Road. Very welcoming manager, clean room, made cosy by the excellent panel heater.

Friendly customer service on check in , nice room , lived electric blanket and heater
Stay is fine but kitchen has no utensils. Extra rental is needed. Why not just collect deposits for borrowing them, but instead they charge it.
Surrounded by such a beautiful location, it was a pleasant morning.
The staff at the facility were also very kind and polite, which was nice.
The kitchen, bathroom, and toilet were all kept very clean, making it a hotel I would definitely like to use again.
Perfect little spot just outside of queenstown, which suited our needs as we had a few days in the area. The cabin we stayed in was just as described.
At the foot of the snow-capped mountains, it's very comfortable. You can lie on the recliner and sleep all the time. Hahahaha. There are no public knives and forks in the kitchen. I feel a little speechless that you don't have to pay 5 dollars a day to use them. Everything else is very good.
The room still has hair in various places.
Found 3 clumps 🥲
The room smells bad.
The shared bathroom is clean and has a hair dryer.
The kitchen and common area are okay.
But there are no plates. You have to bring your own paper plates.
What I'm really happy about is that there are Type C and USD charging ports.

Great location. The one bed suite was spacious, clean and comfortable. Best bed ever!
Lovely Motel in great location with a lovely view. Comfortable well appointed rooms. Added bonus of a bar and restaurant.
The room itself was pretty good, but it was quite a long walk to get there. The elevator was really old, and surprisingly, the key card from the room across the hall could even open our door! 😅
The hotel is not far from the intercity bus station, but you have to climb two hills, one of which is quite steep and long. The cleanliness was acceptable; I didn't experience the issues mentioned in other reviews. I stayed for three nights. For two nights, I was at the end of the 2nd-floor hallway, and the soundproofing was very poor; I could hear traffic passing by all night. For one night, I stayed...
Walking distance to town.
Bed was not flat, but still comfy. Shower stunk like mold.
Just got back from a fantastic 3-night stay at this hotel! I absolutely loved the place and how convenient it was for everything. The room was so comfortable, and having that balcony was a real treat. It was the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the views. I'd definitely recommend this hotel for a great getaway!

It is close to the waterfront. However, we had problem with the room key.
Very close to the city center, a 5-minute walk. The steamship terminal is right in the city center; you can park your car at the hotel and walk 5 minutes to catch the steamship. The facilities are a bit old, but usable enough; there's a stove. My room was by the roadside, with a lake view across the street.
The room has a great location, right by the lake, about a 10-minute walk from the TSS steamship area, and close to Flame and various shops. The only downsides are that the facilities in the first-floor rooms are old, the shower head in my room was broken, and the door lock in my friend's room didn't work. If you mind these things, choose carefully.
The accommodation has a very beautiful view and a very good location.
Very close to the town center, you can walk there. The lakeside scenery is so beautiful. It is great to enjoy the lakeside scenery while eating in the hotel. There is an electric stove in the house, you can cook
The facilities are old, but the view is good. I don't think it's worth more than 2,000 RMB per night. I'd better not come during holidays next time.
Quiet hostel, no unnecessary noise. Everything is quite basic, but perfectly fine for a couple of nights. The room is clean, beds are comfortable, nothing fancy. Common areas are decent. The staff is friendly. The only thing is, you can tell it's a budget option, without any special frills. But if you just need a place to sleep, it's perfectly acceptable.
Good room, friendly customers services, nice toilet, just a bit of a walk to the center
Very nice and comfortable beds
Clean and comfy bed, but expensive stay for what was effectively a shed… it often felt that there were not enough toilets, with long queues for the bathrooms on all floors in the morning and at night.
the hostel was about a 10 mins walk to the city. not bad but we saw a few other hostels on the way. our cabin was smelly, it smelt like mold as the floors were carpet. id ask them for a non carpetted room. the bathrooms were old and weirdly set up. overall it wasnt horrible but i wouldnt recommend.
the room was clean but quite cramped - lots of clutter in the kitchen and things were not labelled. perhaps if solo you could put up with it but with a small group it is not as tolerable.

Great last minute stay! Perfect spot to walk to town and great views
High recommend
A fully equipped and comfortable accommodation. It was a bit noisy due to its proximity to the road, but we were fine with that.
A rare find in central Queenstown with parking! The rooms are spacious and very well-equipped, even featuring a kitchenette and a microwave, making them ideal for families. The only downside is that rooms facing the main road can be quite noisy.
Excellent location, just a few hundred meters' walk from Christchurch Botanic Gardens. The rooms are spacious and clean, and there's ample, convenient parking.
We had a lovely stay here! I especially how quickly our laundry was completed. This hotel was also good if you have a car to park.
Great location, just a few minutes walk to downtown. Clean unit, love that our room has a bathtub jacuzzi. Overall, a great stay!

Location was super convenient and had nice views of the waterside. Everywhere in town centre was very easily accessible and walkable within 10-15 minutes. Staff at reception were friendly and let us keep our luggage in the storage on our last day even though it was past working hours (since we had a late flight).
Very well situated, awesome view, simply stunning and convenient
I recently stayed at The Waterfront Apartments and was thoroughly impressed. The location is excellent and just steps from Lake Wakatipu and a short stroll to CBD.
The apartment itself was spacious, modern, and immaculately clean. We had a two-bedroom unit with upgraded appliances, tasteful furnishings, and a fully equipped kitchen.
Great location, walking distance to downtown,
Garden is very close, and you can see various water activities and lake views from the window every day. The kitchen is also convenient for cooking. It would be even better if there is cooking oil~
Great location, room has spectacular views. Good for a family stay.

Good location, excellent services and very clean, we will return, definitely, with pleasure.
The service attitude is super great. Luggage can be stored for a long time. When I got home late, the staff specially turned on the air conditioner to warm up the room. It's really amazing. I highly recommend everyone to come here! It's just a bit far to walk to the central area. But it's really worth recommending.
During my 21-day trip to New Zealand, the heating was the best and the view was clear. Lake Wakatipu is close by and the number 1 bus to Queenstown Airport is also nearby!

Lovely home, beautiful decor, fantastic views, comfortable living and warm hospitality, turns each moment into a cherished memory.
We had the most amazing time staying at the Queenstown House Boutique B&B! Sam and Paul and the entire team were so friendly and helpful. From a delicious breakfast (even to take away) to incredible views - this is the place to stay! A great location close to town and the queenstown hill hike. Everything was walkable. Would highly recommend staying here if you are in Queenstown!
Very cozy~ The landlady (?) was so nice 😭 The dog was so adorable, though it was a shame I didn't see it much for the last two days~

Wonderful stay. Very friendly host.
It was a pleasant surprise to stay at Queenstown Boutique B&B and Apartments. The administrator gave us a detailed introduction, including a shortcut to the center of Queenstown.
