Wellington, 75 Featherston St (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Seriously lacking in hospitality. Asked for a latte at 5:57am and was told “ we don’t open until 6am”
No newspapers available. Bellhop service virtually nonexistent. Room service was good. Front desk agent untrained and unsupervised. No greeting upon entering the hotel or restaurant. Great mixologist at the bar.
Kudos to Andreas the only friendly person we met not really sure what his position is...
The hotel is located on the edge of Wellington city center, right next to the Parliament and Government House, as well as Wellington Railway Station. It's about a 10-minute walk to the city center and the Te Papa National Museum. Since it's a hotel, self-service laundry isn't available, so I had to find a laundromat outside to do my washing.
great views of the harbour and convenient location near restuarants. The Porter resturant in the hotel has great food but if the restuarant is busy then be prepared to wait. Service by the hotel staff was also great
Great view of the Queen's wharf/ waterfront and good amenities (ie sauna room, kitchenette, ironing facility). Only gripe that I have would be that the hangers are affixed to the wardrobe and also the lack of bathroom/bedroom slippers)
Simple average hotel, more for business travelers than for family stay
Great proximity to the train station
Lovely hotel. Very busy . Good location. View on waterfront very nice from room

A great place to stay for a reasonable rate. Walking distance to cultural attractions on the waterfront as well as entertainment venues in the CBD.
Ibis Wellington was located conveniently in the city and the harbour is just a few minutes away. It's convenient to walk everywhere, including shopping. The room we got was big and basic, including the toilet.
The rooms were a great size, bed was very comfortable. Tea and coffee provided with a mini fridge but I would suggest a small microwave to be placed in the rooms.
The key did disable but that only happened once, but other people that I was staying with theirs happened quite a bit.
The staff at reception were very accommodating as we were getting back late and they assisted us with some of the facilities...
Excellent trip, tidy and organized for both flights and hotel, I highly recommended Trip.com for the great service as appropriate notices with emails with the progress of the trip.
Ideally situated hotel in the heart of Wellington, close to the shops on Lambton Quay and the train station. room was clean and tidy with maid service each day.
Ibis is a good hotel to stay at if you are on a budget. The room is nice, however the beds are only double so very small... being that it was summer when we stayed it was to hot to be in such a small bed without room to try and stay cool. We did use the aircon but this was very loud even on the quietest setting so we found it hard to sleep. The breakfast buffet was nice and enjoyed. The staff are all...

Great location, good room, good service however cleanliness is a concern. Stayed close to 2 weeks & room is not thoroughly cleaned, mostly dusty.
The location is excellent, with easy access to Lambton Quay, Wellington’s main street. The staff were very helpful and made our stay enjoyable.
The room was neat and comfortable, with a simple but functional setup. Although there weren’t many amenities provided, the room had everything needed for a pleasant stay. The bed was comfortable, and the space was well kept and quiet. Overall, the room offered good comfort and cleanliness, making it a good choice for a short stay or for travelers who prefer practicality over extras.
Room is clean and bed is very comfortable.
Very good location. The lift directly to Lambton Quay is a plus to this hotel. Very reasonable price. Breakfast was ok.
Very nice and clean hotel. Very friendly service

Great place which is close to airport. Shuttle provided to and from the airport. A few restaurants in the local area and supermarkets. Nice area to walk around the bays
I chose this hotel because I arrived late at night and departed early the next morning, and they had a shuttle at 03:45 am. So, I didn't actually use my room for very long, but it was spacious and comfortable.
Nice place , good service pick up and drop off to airport
Close to airport, good for late night flights. Friendly and helpful staff. Airport shuttle not going when I arrived, and unfortunately had to get a taxi and the taxis at the airport are not honest or trustworthy.
Lovely hotel, located close to the airport, with good facilities and amenities. Rooms are quite dated, but kept very clean and tidy. Very good conference facilities. Great airport shuttle service provided to and from the hotel.
I chose this hotel because I wasn't flying back to Wellington until 8:30 p.m. and was flying on to Sydney at 6:00 a.m. The hotel's advantage is its proximity to the airport and the great free airport pickup and drop-off service. There is a Rydges Hotel right at Wellington Airport, but it's probably significantly more expensive than the relatively affordable Brentwood at €90 per night. The hotel is...

Great location close to the ferry port. Good sized clean room and bathroom with decent shower and comfortable bed. Perfect for a short stay.
Parking is advertised as pay at the hotel for off road parking, however it was very expensive and pay per day. We arrived late due to ferry times and it seemed excessive to pay a full days fee for literally one hour. Instead, we were lucky to find parking on...
Everything was perfect. Close to everything. Excellent breakfast.
Good experiance to stay in WQ hotel wellington
I was very satisfied with the hotel's location; I liked that it was a quiet and clean area. It's also very close to the old St. Peter's Church, which is entirely made of wood. There's a New World supermarket nearby, which was very convenient for buying water, fruits, and chocolates. Public transport was also easily accessible from the hotel. Overall, I was pleased with the hotel. The breakfast was...
Very nice for the price and the service was quite good, definitely recommend
It's a great experience. The value for money is there and the location is wonderful with next to zero noise at night. Staff is friendly and helpful and daily housekeeping is on point.
It would be better to provide body lotion in the room, and TV produce some flashing light from the back after turning off can be slightly troublesome. I also try the food, they have daily deals and happy hours.

Yeah, it was a pretty good hotel, easy carpark, and very close to the middle of town.
t was an older hotel but was acceptable for my 2 night stay the purpose was to meet friends at the international airport . . It was located close to restaurants and transport all within walking distance . The reception staff were very helpful and friendly .
Rapt with my choice of hotel; the service at the desk was welcoming and friendly. Got a fantastic view from my clean room, and my whanau were rapt with the convenience of the hotel, location, parking, and service.
Highly recommend Bay Plaza Hotel and would book to stay here in a heartbeat

Great location, clean rooms a little dated but still very comfortable and quiet
We needed a place to stay in Wellington for a couple of nights and selected Trinity in a random selection online. Criteria were, reasonably easy to get to by car, reasonable proximity to Te Papa and reasonable price. Trinity covered those bases.
Online booking was simple as was check-in. Car parking was in a Wilsons building just across the street, arranged by the hotel. The facilities were up to our...
Staff was accommodating in keeping my stuff safe prior to check-in so that I have a chance to tour the city without having to drag my luggage around.
Great customer service at check in. Value for money, clean room, well presented room and warm. Great location.
The room was spotless as was the ensuite.
Staff helpful and polite
Arborist cafe nice and handy with reasonable meals or snacks
The room wasn't as big as it looked in the pictures, but it was very clean and well-maintained. The front desk staff were very friendly and always willing to help. They gave me a city map on the first day, and over two days, I explored the seaside streets and pier on foot. They were especially friendly to passengers taking the Airport Express (AX). We were told we got an “upgrade” but the room somehow lost the view that had been advertised claustrophobic room as a result. Disappointing.
Welcoming staff manager Shandra and lady who prepared our delicious breakfast
Hmmm maybe I was expecting different type of boutique hotel… but o must say everyone I encounter was super friendly. The room was spacious. That’s about it.
Had a fabulous stay at Ohtel Wellington. Friendly staff, beautiful rooms, comfortable beds and an easy walk to shops and restaurants. I'll definitely be coming back!
Fantastic and great value! Walkable to everything and paid Coty street parking across the street. Great and attentive staff.
A lovely little hotel, close to the waterfront and CBD. The staff are friendly and very helpful. They wven organised a takeaway breakfast as we had an early start. I would definitely stay again if we're in Wellington

The hotel is central to everything. Access from The Terrace and Lambton Quay. Friendly staff clean room. They just need to make sure you have sufficient plates and cups for all occupants other than that nice hotel
Staff were really helpful and friendly and the price was INCREDIBLY good for the area. I strongly recommend this Hotel.
Air conditioning of one room is out of order.
Also, the air conditioning machine is too close to the bed and feel a bit noisy when sleeping.
The location was ideal for us as it was a simple lift to downtown Wellington. The facilities are a little tired but it was clean and tidy. Even had glimpses of the Harbour. Overall we would stay again, especially if it was appartment 505 that we had!
Clean and tidy 3-bed apartment. Tiny bathroom for a big family but manageable for 2 nights. Excellent location and would stay again.

friendly staff, perfect location, rooms could do with a deep clean (skirtings and in corners etc)
Rooms were clean, manager went above and beyond helping us as we had car trouble, location is great, short walk from town, no issue with parking. Would happily stay here again.
Great space for a family. Clean, nice rooms, very helpful staff
Room was clean, well equiped and a great size. Staff were courteous and polite. Location gave great access into town and beyond. We were a bit worried about road noise but after 9 it was v quiet. Definitely the best value hotel in Wellington!!

Dan the desk manager was extremely helpful bot on arrival and leaving
Honestly, I think it's pretty good for the price. The bathroom was also quite clean and didn't have any unpleasant odors. However, there were two travel brochures on my bed; I'm not sure if they were gifts from the hotel.
Workers are cool.
Cool people but lot of weird to but it’s normal it’s the cheaper.
Room are pretty good
But there is toilette just in the room not everywhere
I extended my stay in Room 326 and the 6 electrical wall plugs in the room were not working from 26th December until I checked out on the 28th. The front desk personell worked it out from the main switchboard on the evening of the 26th, but it was out again in the early morning of the 27th. Room lights were working well accept for the power outlets. Unreliable service. I had to lie by the main door...

I had a pleasant stay at Trek Global Backpackers - I booked a private room with my own bathroom. The room given was spacious and had adequate amenities . Downside was there was no elevator & I had to carry my luggages up 6 flights of stairs.
Hotel location is quite central and good, staff are nice. I stayed in the 4 person room and honestly it was lacking. Ive stayed at hostels before normally there will be a curtain on the bunkbeds for privacy, (especially in a mixed dorm) this wasn't there. No lamps on the bed, lockers didnt have locks provided, no good power plugs or small shelf on the bed. Just a lot of room for improvement compared...

The room was spacious, had everything we needed, and was cleaned well. The bed was fluffy and comfortable.
Good location. Central to everything. Comfortable accommodation but beds could do with an upgrade.
The hotel's location in the city center makes it convenient to get around. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped, including a washing machine and dishwasher. A lovely, atmospheric hotel reeking with history. Spotlessly clean and really quiet. Staff were lovely, although front desk times are limited. Perfectly located for downtown and the quayside. Like living in a palace.
The Wellesley is historic old Wellington, elegant yet very functional. Ideally situated close to Lambton Quay offices , businesses , shops and restaurants. Large comfortable rooms , and excellent meeting spaces
This is a lovely, slightly quirky hotel. We really enjoyed our time here. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and well equipped. The location is great for visiting a lot of interesting sites and for restaurants. Definitely recommended.
Our room was clean and decent, but staff support was entirely absent and the plumbing was problematic but not disastrous. In a two day stay we never saw a staff member. We entered the hotel several times when there was supposed to be staff on duty. Must have been ghosts.
This is a wonderful hotel full of older charm lacking in cookie-cutter hotel chains. Everything room is a little different but all equally lovely. With just 13 rooms it is has a quiet and intimate feeling. There is a delightful coffee shop attached that has space for lounging. As you would expect from a small hotel, the staff is extra friendly and helpful. Two blocks in from the waterfront...

We had the kebabs and they were absolutely delicious. But what really stood out was the incredible honesty and kindness of the staff. Also, don’t miss their burgers — hands down the best we’ve had in a long...
Beautiful place. Very clean and location is perfect. Used kitchen to cook dinner and also ate out. Too many eateries to try all of them nearby. No need to hire a car, walking distance everywhere. Close to New World a bonus
Excellent stay. Had bit of an issue during the check-in as we did not contact the staff in advance and our telephone was not connecting. This was however quickly handled by the kind staff.
Bit of a rough neighbourhood but the apartment was quiet and peaceful.
Enjoyed our stay, central to where we needed to be.
