Best fishing hotel For many years my family and I have been returning to Saltstraumen Brygge for fishing. Perfect location and fantastic and competent staff who help to give you the best fishing experience.

Staff is friendly. House is in good condition. Will come back.

Perfectly situated in the Saltstraumen area. Great and large apartment, very eell equipped. It’s very new, large freezer for the fishermen, boat tental, sauna. Short distance to the grocery shop. Would definitely recommend this place.

The apartment was well cleaned and seemed well maintained.

We had a family reunion at Saltstraumen Hotel from June 27th to the 29th. The staff was very hospitable and provided a lush buffet for our group of over 70. The food was amazing and typically Norwegian! Loved it. It was an easy walk to the Saltstraumen bridge and over. The seagulls were nesting and on an island below the bridge one could see the little chicks and hear their calls. On our next trip...

Charming surroundings, but the hotell is quite dated and feels low tier. Good bed. Not impressed by the restaurant or the breakfast, but it is passable. Conference equipment is sub par, projector isn't up to the task. Low ceiling conference room, not ideal for larger groups.

The room was old and outdated, but having outside access right from the room was a nice touch. It is located right next to the maelstrom, which is great, and about half an hour from Bodø. Unfortunately the food at the restaurant wasn't great.

Enjoyable stay We enjoyed our stay in Bodo. Rooms are small but beds are comfortable and room was clean. Practical and not fancy. Outstanding breakfast. Waffle bar in the afternoon was welcome after hiking all morning. Front office staff was extremely friendly and helpful with our questions.

Enjoyed our stay Very convenient location close to the Ferry, if you travel by car there are lots of parking spaces (free between 4 pm and 9 am), friendly staff. We have been offered free soup in the evening which was very nice. Good breakfast.

This hotel is showing its age and not in a charming way. I would definitely classify this as a budget hotel, which did not come across on *******.

Nice hotel in central location. Very clean, comfortable beds and included breakfast. Room was a bit dark but beautiful big windows and views over the city.

Good location, the breakfast is the best in Norway, the price is reasonable. I was given an early check-in. The only regret is that I was given a barrier-free room. The brightest light is the toilet light.

One night in Bodo A centrally located hotel. Good breakfast, little bit dated rooms. A fine place for one night stay.

A Twin room for a good price. Breakfast was amazing and the hotel is located close to everything you need. Trainstation, supermarket, restaurants and bars and since Bøde isn’t that big. You’ll be on a hiking trail before you know.

There is a private paid parking lot behind the hotel. The room is small and clean and well maintained. Reception staff are friendly.

The stay was very comfortable! I made a last-minute reservation because I didn't know Bodo Airport would be closed. The staff at the counter was very friendly! They were very considerate and helped me use the pad to call a taxi. The service was very good! The room is also very nice, the bed is very good to sleep on

The front desk staff was truly outstanding and made our stay exceptional. They went above and beyond to help us with navigation to our next destination and assisted us with many other details throughout our stay. I had a nice, clean room with a comfy bed and a super view of the harbor. Staff were really good and there is a very nice restaurant in the same building.

I had booked a three night stay here but didn’t actually stay at this hotel. When I arrived to check in for my Wed, Thu, Fri night stays I was told that the hotel would be closed on Friday. They said that they had tried to call me, but I never got any calls. My options were to stay at Nordlys for two nights and then move to the Thon Partner Hotel Skagen for the Friday night. Or I could just move to...

I have stayed at this amazing hotel many , many times in the last 3 and a half years!! Everything about the Thon Hotel Nordlys from the staff, the very comfortable rooms, the breakfast, the location is absolutely perfect!!! Staying at this exceptional hotel you will not be disappointed!!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

A 15 minute walk from the airport, clean rooms, excellent breakfast and it’s located right next to the harbour.

The disadvantage is that there is no air conditioning in summer ， too bad， they should have air conditioning ！View is nice

The room was clean and tidy. There's a Rema supermarket nearby, and several small shops to browse. One of the outdoor gear shops even had Arc'teryx. However, many shops were closed during the New Year period and reopened on the 6th. There was a drinking fountain to the left of the hotel reception, which seemed free, but we only discovered it when we checked out… There's also a small supermarket on...

We checked in pretty late like at 2am, and was glad the frontdesk was still open and they very quickly helped us check in without hassle. Pity that parking is paid (but do not park right outside the hotel at omma!, there's a waaay cheaper parking just the street across for 1/3 the price!) Room was normal, nothing special!

Decent stay, premium room comes with nice sea port view. Could have made more effort to make parking easier as foreigners are not familiar. Got a parking fine as we did not display the paid ticket but successfully appealed after writing in but caused inconvenience.

Location is good, just walk a few mins to the shopping center, convenient store and restaurants, 20min walk to airport. 24hrs reception, it's convenient if you take a night flight. Room is clean and comfortable. Staff is nice and helpful. I really enjoy staying here.

Convenient location and clean. Unfortunately we came over Easter Holidays and only a few stores were open (outside of hotel). Hotel bar was also closed.

The receptionist that booked us in was very friendly and helpful. The kitchen/dining room staff were lovely and very hard working. The hotel was quiet on the whole and we had very little noise at night. We upgraded to a superior room, not sure what the standard rooms are like but ours was small with a wardrobe for one person, we had to use the “superior” chairs as a second wardrobe and the shower situation...

The reception girls were very friendly and kitchen staffs too.. altogether the best in Bodo

This was exactly as advertised. Breakfast and dinner were good with choices and quality. Room was as expected. Location very handy to port and airport. Staff quick and friendly. Would recommend for price point it was perfect

Very close to the ferry for Lofoten. A very comfortable bed and good choice of food for breakfast. A very welcome bonus was the afternoon coffee and cakes and the free evening buffet for guests. Super helpful staff at reception too. Would stay again if travelling from Bodo although there isn't a lot to do there.

Poor ventilation The window could not be opened properly, so it was not possible to cool down the room. Otherwise very nice. The included dinner was especially appreciated.

No complains! Great and friendly staff, amazing lobby with a lot of space to chill or work and quite central. The breakfast was very diverse (just very crowded on the weekend). I also had an amazing view from my room.

Travelling for two weeks around Scandinavia and this was the most luxurious, friendly and value for money stay. The views across the harbour stunning and the breakfast was epic!

This hotel was comfortable - great bed and pillows It’s convenient and walkable and the staff were great! The only thing I didn’t like was the automatic bathroom light. Not so nice to have such a bright light in your face at 2am! Shocks you right awake!

Fabulous views, central location, well priced In this price range, we have to say this is one of the best hotels so far. The views are fabulous. There are water views even if you have a city view! The bed is comfortable and good size, the location is convenient. We enjoyed our stay.

We had lunch in their restaurant. The location and interior is magnificant. Food was ok, but service was a little bit slow so we have waited longer than needed for main course. It was kind of them to offer us a drink because of that.
