Thon Hotel Nordlys in Bodo

The front desk staff was truly outstanding and made our stay exceptional. They went above and beyond to help us with navigation to our next destination and assisted us with many other details throughout our stay. Excellent service like this really sets a hotel apart—thank you for such a wonderful experience.

I had a nice, clean room with a comfy bed and a super view of the harbor.
Staff were really good and there is a very nice restaurant in the same building.

Clean and nice, good mattress! Coffee machine in the room!!!! Great view, really gooood breakfast, cheerful and smiling people. LOVE the coffee machine, a little chocolate and little boxes in the bathroom with various things. Thank you for having us this time.

A very nice hotel. Located right on the dock in the marina. Helpful and pleasant reception. Excellent food and a large selection for breakfast. We had a room with a sea view. Large, spacious room with a beautiful view. This weekend was very hot, so we had the windows open all night. A little noise from Egon's outdoor terrace just outside.

I had booked a three night stay here but didn’t actually stay at this hotel. When I arrived to check in for my Wed, Thu, Fri night stays I was told that the hotel would be closed on Friday. They said that they had tried to call me, but I never got any calls. My options were to stay at Nordlys for two nights and then move to the Thon Partner Hotel Skagen for the Friday night. Or I could just move to that hotel for all three nights. I didn’t really want to pack up and move just for one night so I opted to got there for all three. I think this was a mistake as the partner hotel is obviously not as nice as the one I had booked.
So my review can only be of Thon Partner Hotel Skagen. The staff were lovely, breakfast was excellent, and my room was very nice. There is not gym or restaurant at this hotel. In the evening from 4 to 7 there are free waffles and from 7 to 9 free bread and soup. I tried the soup the first night and it was excellent.

I have stayed at this amazing hotel many , many times in the last 3 and a half years!! Everything about the Thon Hotel Nordlys from the staff, the very comfortable rooms, the breakfast, the location is absolutely perfect!!!

A 15 minute walk from the airport, clean rooms, excellent breakfast and it’s located right next to the harbour.

Highly recommended!
The hotel is beautifully located, right on the marina. There's a good restaurant on site, which is also popular with locals, and you can also sit outside.
The room was good and clean; it was a truly wonderful experience to stay there, and it was one of the best hotels on our trip to Norway.
You have to find or pay for parking.
