Quality Hotel Ramsalt in Bodo

I love this hotel, the staff and the people of Bodo in general. Our special requests were accommodated and hopefully I'll be back shortly

Good hotel in city center
Almost a new hotel in city center, seafront restaurants and breakfast area.

Great location on the water. I was able to check in early since the room was ready, very appreciative. Buffet breakfast was very nice, lots of options, even gluten free.

Good location, the breakfast is the best in Norway, the price is reasonable. I was given an early check-in. The only regret is that I was given a barrier-free room. The brightest light is the toilet light.

New hotel with beautiful rooms with fantastic views. Lovely lounge/bar area that draws you in as you enter the hotel (shame there was live music/jazz one night and not the England vs Denmark European Championship semi final on the big screen but the jazz music in the lounge was probably better than the football match). Large and good breakfast buffet. Was well received when we arrived and most of the staff seemed service minded and friendly.

Excellent, modern, good location, nice staff, good facilities and good food. Stayed here for one night, two rooms. No fridge in room but otherwise clever storage and bedding solutions with a small double bed above a double bed. High up under the roof. Nice bathroom with good shower. Very good gym with modern equipment and some free weights. Very good breakfast with a good choice. It gets a bit crowded now as most guests arrive at 10.30 and there is a queue at the entrance for those who are guests and those who are arriving. Easily resolved by a walk along the seafront back to the square or back to the restaurant. No parking at the hotel but in the house and in an open air car park a few minutes walk away. We were very happy with our stay in Ramsalt!

A wonderful dining experience at a new hotel! Always fun to try a hotel restaurant. There was no information about the "Dinner + Accommodation" deal in advance, other than "A room reservation for 2 includes dinner for 2... Accommodation, breakfast and Wi-Fi are included." But you are the world they delivered. I had a very tasty Caesar salad with bacon, parmesan and chicken fillet as a starter, and my wife had fish soup with real fish. Then came the main course - roast veal with small potatoes and parsnip puree. The meat was tender, the parsnip puree sweet with hints of caramel. Be mindful of the portion sizes. Tried the recommended red wine and it went well with the food. Not too little, not too much. For dessert - chocolate parfait with sea buckthorn sorbet. Also an unbeatable combination. The room was nice and new, even a simple coffee maker (capsule). The staff at the hotel were nice and friendly. Service, although the hotel was fully booked and they had a lot of work to do. We would stay here again. And the breakfast buffet was just amazing!
