Located in the mountains, it's convenient to take the tram to the city center. The breakfast was good. The room wasn't large, but it was okay. Parking is 130 Nor per day.

Helpful and friendly staff, delicious restaurant, stunning view, free coffee, gym and sauna. Bedroom is comfortable, very close to the Oslo winter park, just a 10 minute walk then 5 minutes bus ride and near many hikes. I would highly recommend it here if you are not on a tight budget.

Location is not suitable for traveling without a car

The scenery is amazing! It is also very comfortable to work overtime in the common lounge at night. The room is very small and there is no elevator. It is also a very historical hotel. It is warmer and has a swimming pool. It is recommended to drive there for convenience.

Hotel 1904 is a very nice hotel. The hotel is in a beautiful old building but it is totally updated and renovated inside. It is in a great location. It is close to shops, restaurants and the ferry and bus stops.

Food and service Cleaning and food. I had 3 nights at the hotel. The food was not something I would call home and tell anyone about and not a single time through these days did the clean the room, make the bed or even changed towels.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in the fjords of Norway. The rooms were spacious and the beds very comfortable. Everything was spotlessly clean. The dinner was excellent, and the staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. Highly recommend! We will try sauna and spa next time we stay there!

Fantastic location in the heart of the town. Walking distance from the train and close to the heat dinning options. All 3 Staff we encounters at front desk were delightful and the bar tender in the sky bar was slammed and by herself but handled everything well. This is a lovely hotel really conveniently located close to the centre. It’s a renovated mill building (obviously) next to a fast running stream. So you can’t open windows on the side with the stream which has loud rapids/falls. But you can sit outside and have breakfast/dinner on the terrace which is great. Stayed here one night in the winter. Contacted the hotel before arrival to ask for a bath tub, late check out and a dust allergy friendly room. No problem, all request were solved easily. Very unimpressed Had to lug our bags ups an awkward round staircase and then duck under low beams, doorways and a massive beam in the middle of the room .wouldn't stay there again and it was also very expensive. Reception and breakfast were nice but room was a disaster.

Very friendly staff and delicious food. There was a lot of choice at breakfast. Less choice in the evening but it was still very tasty. The hotel is very stylishly decorated. The tram stop is only 3 minutes away from the hotel. We are in the city center within 5 minutes. Vigelansaparken is a 15-minute walk away.

It’s a nice hotel in Stavern. They also offer a fantastic buffet every Sunday, except on some special holidays. It costs kr.395 per person with one drink of your choice. It’s worth it. Some seafood, fish, meat, salads, desserts and coffee or tea. Delicious food and nice service.

Just ok The hotel itself is ok- the name is a bit misleading, as there is nothing “grand” about this hotel. We got a room on the backside of the hotel with just a tiny window. If you stay here, insist on the front. The housekeeping was in our room, but didn’t do the bed.
