We use this hotel when going up skiing and it is a great stop on the way from Denmark to the mountains. Their restaurant is absolutely perfect! We bring small children and they cater to both them and us - dinner or breakfast could simply not be better. The room is excellent and there is a cozy atmosphere all way round the visit 🤘

Great for a final stay before flying out of Oslo. Really nice hotel with good rooms and a large spa. Restaurant is very good as well.

The hotel itself is fine, but the location makes their parking policy completely unreasonable.

This hotel is located far out in the middle of nowhere, with no access to public transportation whatsoever. That means every guest is forced to arrive by car. Despite this, the hotel charges an extremely high parking fee — so high that it alone is the reason we will never return.

Charging premium parking prices in a place where guests have no alternative but to drive feels unfair and exploitative. It leaves a very bad impression and completely overshadows what could otherwise have been a decent stay.

We will not be coming back, and we would strongly recommend that the hotel reconsider this policy if they want repeat customers.

Nice place for a getaway. However the spa os way to small for the size, and booking a few weeks out ut was not possible to get entrance after 2pm. This is also before checkin# and the showers where closed due to reconstruction so not sure how that would have played out if er had not been able to check in early.

Really interesting mains and dessert for dinner. Be aware you are in the middel of "nowhere" and would need a car to eat elsewhere unless you fancy a long walk.

Room was nicely decorated and slept like a baby.

Excellent hotel
This is an absolutely wonderful hotel that I really recommend. Everything is perfect! The breakfast, dinner are very good. The gym is very good with a lot of tools and machines.

Beware car charging price here. Hotel couldnt tell me the price up front, and the Easypark app would not show the price either. Had to start a charge and stop it, then after 5 minutes i got the total, which was 27 NOK for less than 4kwh. Works out to 7NOK per kWh, which, for 11kw charging, feels like a scam.

Great food & spa, complicated feelings on service
Amazing food and spa. The spa had so many different rooms and pools to enjoy and offered drinks and a lovely lounge area. We also had it to ourselves as a group and that was really lovely. The food was outstanding in the restaurant and the breakfast that’s included with the hotel is phenomenal with an enormous selection. My only issue that threw us off was that a large portion of the staff seemed to have a problem with us being American. We had a Norwegian traveling in our group and unfortunately we received much quicker and pleasant service when he interacted with the staff instead of the rest of the group. For example, getting a table in the restaurant was difficult and one of us was even questioned multiple times about our eating habits at breakfast by a waiter. This guest has a a history of eating disorders, so it came off very abrasive and was upsetting so the Norwegian guest in our group had to step in. I’m very understanding of the political culture right now and there was a very loud, rude and boisterous party of Americans there the first night we got there, so I understand if the staff was wary of us and how we might act so I didn’t take it personally, but it definitely made things more difficult to enjoy our stay.
