Absolutely loved this hotel! Staff were really helpful and friendly, breakfast was delicious and so much choice, rooms were clean and comfortable. First time is Oslo so was a great base for us to explore the city. Right next to Central Station too so really easy to get to airport.

Love the hotel and its location. The breakfast was wonderful and abundant. The service was excellent. Just wish the room was a lil bigger and the position of the bed was not facing/against the wall which made movement very limited.

The room was a bit small; once I put my suitcase down, it felt like there wasn't much space to move around. However, the hotel's location is excellent, right out of the central station.

I’m writing this review with mixed feelings. Let me start with the positive: the staff were genuinely friendly, helpful, and professional. At reception, they clearly did their best to show understanding and think along with us. There is absolutely nothing negative to say about them.
Unfortunately, that does not outweigh our major disappointment.
The only reason I booked this hotel was because of the swimming pool and wellness facilities. I was traveling with my two children, who like to swim every day, and this was a decisive factor in choosing this — rather expensive — hotel.
Upon arrival, however, we were informed that the pool was closed due to renovations. No swimming pool. No wellness. No alternative offered.
What makes this even more frustrating is that there was no prior communication about this closure. According to the hotel, they were supposedly not allowed to inform guests due to GDPR regulations. I find that very strange, since I did receive other communication from them after I asked a question before our stay. So apparently, communication is possible. Moreover, there is no mention of the closure on their website either. That, we were told, was due to an IT issue.
It feels like there is an explanation for everything, but no real accountability.
We paid a high price for facilities that were simply not available. The compensation offered was not proportional to the loss of the swimming pool and wellness — facilities that were a major reason for booking this hotel in the first place.
Again, the staff themselves are not to blame. They are the ones delivering the message and remained friendly throughout, which I truly appreciate. But as a hotel, this level of transparency and communication is simply below standard.
