Amerikalinjen in Oslo

The breakfast was excellent, and the location was perfect for seeing and doing many of the key activities in Oslo, whilst also being easy to get to and from for the next leg ot the trip.

I had a pleasant stay at the Amerikalinjen Hotel in Oslo. Its location is extremely convenient—right next to Oslo Central Station and within walking distance of major attractions, making it ideal for business travel. The room was tidy, clean, and well‑equipped, providing a comfortable environment after a long day. The hotel’s stylish design, friendly staff, and vibrant atmosphere also added to the overall experience. Many reviewers praise its excellent cleanliness, great service, and modern amenities, which I can fully agree with. Overall, a highly recommended stay for both work and leisure.

Fabulous location about 5 mins walk from Oslo central station depending if you have long or short legs.
Walking distance to many attraction and whilst we got the Oslo Pass we only used it for transport a few times for the attractions further out I e The Norwegian Cultural Museum.
Upon arrival we were greeted by Thea and Maura who were very professional and helpful on recommending things to do and traditional restaurants- of which we tried to eat at them all! We received a room upgrade which was lovely and they must have remembered when I mentioned we were here for my partner's birthday as there was a lovely birthday card and chocolates on the evening we came back from a long day out.

The room whilst an upgrade was lovely but Still smaller than expected so not sure how small the standard room would have been. Room was well equipped with hair dryer, bathrobes, toiletires, coffee and tea making facilities. Also an ironing bard and iron. Only two slightly negative things were that the previous guest socks were in the back of the cupboard, and there is only hanging space to put your clothes.

Breakfast was lovely, great selection and caters well for vegetarians. You get option of ordering from a menu as well as buffet. Restaurant staff are attentive.

The best boutique hotel in Oslo exceeds all expectations, where everything is outstanding.

It's OK, but the room is small and the bed is very small and narrow, that's it

First of all, my baby and I brought 3 pieces of luggage, and the receptionist didn't seem to want to help at all. When I checked out, I met a very good receptionist, who was very nice and enthusiastic. The hotel is in a good location and has a high cost-effectiveness. This price is much more comfortable than living in Japan.

The hotel has exquisite design and personality, complete facilities, good service and great location

It feels good, has a good design style, and is a very nice hotel. I am also recommended by locals to stay here. It has its own characteristics and good service.
