Staff was friendly, helpful and very accommodating. The room was clean and spacious.

Convenient location, walking distance to train station.

The hotel is very exquisite, the breakfast is very good, it is an old hotel with a sense of atmosphere in southern Norway, opposite the church, the environment is very good, and there is a long river behind it. It is a good choice for business, vacation and tourism. I will stay here again next time.

This place was so great I booked another 3 nights after already staying 4! The staff were so helpful in many different ways. Jack took very good care of me during my stay to make sure I felt at home along with the other staff, granted I might’ve spent too much time in the very clean lounge area rather than my immaculate room contemporary room. The breakfast rivaled the quality of the Radison Blu I stayed at last night across from Oslo Lufthavn, and the bacon was probably the best in all of Norway, and that’s not an exaggeration. It was very crispy where everyplace else could be compared to fat flavored chewing gum you can’t ever swallow. I didn’t have a chance to check out their escape rooms, but they were offered to me as well as laundry service, snacks, and various off the menu drinks. The atmosphere was very inviting and classy, and with it came various types of people who weren’t staying at the hotel, and contrary to what you might hear and read on the internet, I made more friends and had more great conversations with the random locals than I could’ve ever expected. Everything was in close walking distance, and very humble as opposed to a bigger city like Oslo. With all this being said, when my first four days were up, Jack very easily talked me into staying another 3 days and even gave me an amazing upgrade with a view of the church on the top floor, along with an Apple TV dongle. Needless to say, they really care about their visitors and know how to build loyalty. There was even talk of having specialty dinners and more live entertainment in the near future, SO PACK THOSE BAGS! If and when I come back here again, there’s no doubt of where I will be staying. I’d give 6 stars if I could, but since I can’t, I insisted on tipping (which they wouldn’t let me do with NOK) with a few treasured personal items I hope they’ll keep and remember me by. So worth it, I told them I’d leave a big giant review, so here it is. You’re welcome, future traveler.

Very good emplacement and very tasty rooms, classy.
The price/quality is also very good.

I just have some suggestions:
The soap liquid in the bathrooms is a cheap plastic one, it's a little detail but I could be better.
The breakfast could be also been improved with fresh fruits and a bread toaster.

The staff is very kind, I can only super suggest it! :)
