Everything was as I expected. The rooms were very clean. I’ve never slept in such soft and comfortable bedding before. The staff was very friendly. The area was very nice and peaceful. Breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of products.

Excellent location, beautiful view. The hotel provides an opportunity to relax in nature. Responsive and friendly staff. Excellent breakfast and delicious meals in the restaurant. Cozy and modern room with comfortable bed and fancy bathroom. I only have a comment regarding the mini bar in the room. It didn't work and didn't cool the drinks and in the room was a little bit hot.

Modest accommodation, clean, good breakfast.

I've been here three times while travelling from-to Norway and Sweden. Not far from the highway but almost downtown, only two blocks from the peatonal street with bars and restaurants. Although not all the rooms are super modern, they are clean, large, with comfortable beds and with large windows. There is also a nice restaurant in the hotel. The staff is friendly and the owner is very kind and helpful

We had a short stay at the hotel, family of 3. We arrived after reception hours, but the hotel had tried to contact us beforehand and sent a text with information needed to get access to our room. I've never experience such good service in Norway before! It really felt like coming home. Rana the hotel manager made sure that we had everything we wanted and gave us the best possible stay here in Sarpsborg. The breakfast was excellent with fresh food, egg/bacon/sausages, fresh fruit, yoghurt, warm bread, fresh Waffles, bakery cakes and so on. We can only recommend this hotel, perfect location close...

The most friendly and helpful staff that made a large effort to make us feel at home. I traveled alone with my children on a long stay there and the hotel felt like a safe spot for all of us. Building is old and worn but with lots of light, air and atmosphere. Great breakfast and staff managed to find food that went ok with my food allergies.

Elevator does not work and looks like it hasn't for a while, which is bad when you are on the 4th floor. The room is more like a hostel than a hotel. I loved the town though. It was very cool.

You have to pay for breakfast. And you have to for the parking, they did not info us parking at hotel is not free. 10 minutes walking away there is parking cost 32kr for 24 h, as hotel charge for 150kr. If you are staying long, recommend the kommune parking.

I was satisfied with my stay here. Were hesitating there before coming due to shared bathrooms but it was super clean. Parking is easy and free. Neighborhood is so calm. Really close to old city by walking. Dont miss the chance by walking to river

Affordable accommodation located in the old town. It is nice to take a stroll to the harbour where you can take a free ferry ride to get to the other side of town. Place is generally clean and nice. Bed might be a little narrow and we could hear the room next door slamming on some stuff in the middle of the night. For the prices it is definitely okay.

Nice enough hotel in a pretty good location close to the main pedestrianised high street. I found my room a bit dark (no ceiling lights). No aircon, not even a working ventilation system. They do provide a heater and a fan though! Some street noise at night on weekends. *NO* tea/coffee making facilities. Housekeeping didn't clean my room for my entire stay which was disappointing. The hotel is very exquisite, the breakfast is very good, it is an old hotel with a sense of atmosphere in southern Norway, opposite the church, the environment is very good, and there is a long river behind it. It is a good choice for business, vacation and tourism. I will stay here again next time.

Very good emplacement and very tasty rooms, classy. The price/quality is also very good. I just have some suggestions: The soap liquid in the bathrooms is a cheap plastic one, it's a little detail but I could be better. The breakfast could be also been improved with fresh fruits and a bread toaster. The staff is very kind, I can only super suggest it! :)

We checked in late, around 2130, check in was very easy and provided us food before the bistro closed in the hotel at 2200. Rooms were comfortable and clean. We left before breakfast was served but we were able to take bread and cold cuts as well as coffee with us. One of the best places we have stayed.

Air conditioning didn't work. We had to have the window open and there was considerable noise from the street late into the night.

The front desk service is very good, and check-in and check-out are very fast. The breakfast is also very rich, with a variety of breads, drinks, and various fruits. The taste is very good, especially the baked potatoes🥔

Facilities: There is free tea and coffee in the lobby, which is very good. Hygiene: Clean and tidy, but the room is not cleaned every day under normal circumstances. Environment: Close to the river, close to the riverside pier, you can take the free ferry. Close to the bustling streets of the new city. Friendly staff, good location however quite a lot of street noice when we get a room toward Nygaten. Room was quite small and it was difficult to get around the bed to the one side (30cm) . But the reason for relatively poor rating was that the bathroom was extremely small. It was not possible for s person of normal height to sit straight at the toilet. Very good breakfast though

Parking was full so despite being disabled we had to unload at the door and park offsite at extra cost. Pet rooms weren’t available but we were given a room on the top floor. We had a small balcony so were able to leave that open to keep room cool. We had a fridge, good beds and pillows.

The location of the property was really great - we could walk to everything we wanted to see. Unfortunately we had to park a few blocks away from the hotel but that was really the only downside. The room was very spacious and the front desk staff was very nice and helpful.

Great hotel. Right near so many restaurants, stores, markets, and bowling. The hotel’s breakfast buffet was absolutely amazing. My husband is a vegetarian and they had fruit, vegetables, tons of varieties of granola and breads. It was the perfect start to our day!

It was good The house were quite clean and the outside of the appartment was nively maitained, clean and loan mowing was done whenever needed hence making the compound claen and nice. A nice cosy place It’s a really nice camping sight with a fun playground for kids. The apartment was spacious and clean with enough beds for all of us and a nice bathroom. If you have small kids, we recommend this space. We didn’t visit the surrounding places but we did use it as a home base for our trips into Sweden.
