The sky bar was stunning and provided cinematic views of the island. Even the washrooms featured impressive views.

While the hotel is an excellent venue to meet friends for coffee, it was not a good place to sleep.

This hotel is in such a beautiful location. I hope they will address the bedroom issues to improve the experience for future guests.

We get one free drink per room. Near to airport! We manage to catch the northern light here! Room is clean and cozy. Highly recommended!

The front desk is located in the bar on the top floor, which offers a magnificent view. I was too tired at night to go up and see if I could spot the Northern Lights. This is more of a business hotel. You need a key card to use the elevators. Most of the staff I encountered were very nice, and the room size is decent for a Nordic hotel. It's true that it's not too far from the airport, but dragging luggage through the snow was impossible. A single bus stop from the airport costs nearly 100 RMB, which is truly shocking Nordic pricing.

This is the best hotel we've stayed in in Scandinavia so far! Perfect location and stunning views from the lobby bar. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly and professional.

The room was very clean and tidy, just a bit small. And contrary to some online reviews, the water was hot – everything was perfectly fine. The breakfast was also good.
It's incredibly close to the airport.
Right across the street downstairs, there's a Burger King and a supermarket.
Walk a little further north, and you'll find two large shopping malls, making shopping very convenient.

Upon check-in, I was told that our booking of a twin bedroom was entitled to only one welcoming drink, providing one drink for two guests was disappointing.

For breakfast, the hotel advised that the first hour would be busy, but the non-rush hours were even more crowded, making it difficult to enjoy our meal.

Additionally, there was no kettle in the room; guests must go to the 11/F common area for hot water, which was extremely inconvenient.

On a positive note, the gym was reasonably good. The view from 11/F is stunning. Overall, while there were some highlights, key areas need improvement.

My experience was very good, despite being very sick with a cold all 3 nights.
There is a grocery store 1 min walk away and a pharmacy 5 min walk away. The front desk, including a woman named Cilia, was very helpful in recommending suitable things to help. The windows are frosted over with ice, so the “view” that you’re paying for may not come through. I cracked open the window of my room to get this photo that you see. The rooftop viewing area has an outdoors part. I was able to see the Northern Lights outside the hotel at 5p before my flight Jan 23. Breakfast was decent, although I think I enjoy breakfast at the Moxy Bergen more. I recommend this hotel.

The hotel is near the airport, an easy 20-minute walk if the weather's good. On a snowy day, we opted for the bus to the airport, which was super convenient. The hotel was quite busy overall, and breakfast started at 6:30 AM, the earliest I've seen in Norway! The breakfast selection was actually quite varied, though the layout was a bit cramped. You do need to return your own tray. The coffee machine was very easy to use. There's also a stunning observation deck right next to the breakfast area.

I was so impressed with my superb stay at Moxy Tromso on all levels -- the panoramic view from the restaurant is totally divine -- I could not get enough of it! Rainbows and fresh snowfalls greeted us at breakfast, and I loved watching weather systems roll in from afar (and had fun too watching the planes take off to Svalbard and beyond!). And omg -- we got to marvel at green and red northern lights from the balcony of the bar, totally magical!!!

Our lovely room was spacious and felt homey, very relaxing. The breakfast spead is aWeSoMe -- it has everything you could need to power up for a day of Arctic adventuring. I liked that it was a short and easy bus ride to get to the city center, since that small remove from the city led to a feeling of tranquility and peace with my gaze focused on nature thanks to that stunning mountain landscape out the window.

I am very fortunate to have stayed at many hotels in Norway, and Moxy is by far the best managed hotel in Norway with the best staff. I won't get into the anthropological / cultural reasons why that's such an impressive feat, but it's an Olympian achievement. I'm so grateful to the warm, friendly, and helpful staff for making our stay such a phenomenal and memorable one and for making all our Arctic dreams come true!
