Very nice hostel to stay a bit (Kristiansand is very small…). 1/ The breakfast buffet is definitely amazing and everything is super tasty! 2/ The room is clean, but a bit dark, I would have preferred a bit more lights. 3/ The staff is kind. 4/ The location is practical (because really central), but the view on the containers from the room is not amazing I admit. Overall, good experience ◡̈

The location of the hotel is great and there is a parking garage and street parking available. Of course it is not free.

Scandic Kristiansand Our weekend stay was excellent despite the staff being busy with a convention.

Not used to European Hotels but there were no tissues or a garbage can capable of holding anything above a few tissues. We did not want cleaning service so it was a bit of an issue for me. Bed was more comfortable than expected and the room was nice. Necessities only which was fine. Breakfast was outstanding at the restaurant.

This hotel really exceeded my expectations. Kristiansand itself is a beautiful little town, and this hotel is also great. It is in a commercial area where you can go shopping and eat. The breakfast in the hotel is average, but the room is very clean and comfortable. The front desk is also very good and has a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend it.

I often stay at Thon hotels when traveling for business. This one is a bit more relaxed, and it's very conveniently located next to a church. By Scandinavian hotel standards, the service is acceptable. The rooms are large with radiators, and the bathrooms are small but have underfloor heating.

Highly Recommended Amazing Hotel, Staff are very friendly and helpful! Next to the Safari Park, I couldn't visit as I was travelling for business so arrived late and left early for the Airport but will definitely visit again. Amazing for families but I felt very comfortable and welcome as a lone traveller. Very Clean.

Middels fornøyd I beskrivelsen av leiligheten på nettsiden står det at det er 3 soverom, men dette stemmer ikke. Det er 2 soverom, og en hems med 2 enkelt senger. Hotellet kunne gjort noe mer ut av leiligheten, som å feie balkongen (som var fult av blader m.m.), håndsåpe på badet og mer enn 2 oppvasktabletter da man må ta oppvasken ofte da det er lite med glass og servise.

The breakfast is good! The room is not big, but it is OK. The surrounding environment is a bit messy. The hotel looks good from the outside. Such a big hotel does not have its own parking space. The social parking lot charges a fee.

Central location and very nice breakfast for the price per night. Super soft mattress, couldn’t sleep for 2 nights. There’s a column in the bedroom that starts playing music and saying something in local language and you can’t turn it off. Not good experience

On the left side of the bed there was an uncomfortable crease that made it nearly impossible to sleep. The staff asked us upon check-in if we’d been there before. We answered «no», then I was not given directions for the elevator, I had to ask how we got to our room. Only one pack of sugar free sweetener next to the kettle in our room. We loved this charming hotel in an even more charming town. The breakfast was great. There are lots of shops just outside the front door and the parking garage is literally next door. Don’t miss the chocolatier, Heimdal, just down the street. Highly recommend.

Just ok The hotel itself is ok- the name is a bit misleading, as there is nothing “grand” about this hotel. We got a room on the backside of the hotel with just a tiny window. If you stay here, insist on the front. The housekeeping was in our room, but didn’t do the bed.

This hotel was in a great location in the centre of kristiansand with easy walking to everywhere ! Plus they had parking next to the hotel although they charge and have no ev chargers . But we had a great stay .

All rooms are great, you feel like in a museum, a clean one! Rooms are charming. The top apartments are a bit too tight for a claustrophobic person like me ☺️ but all in all is a good place. Restaurant is very good too. 👍

I’ve been at this hotel for a week and everything’s been fine. I switched to this room for one night and I love it, kettle, coffee machine like usual, and best of all, a fridge. I just wish there was a plug next to the bed to charge my phone more easily.

We loved Farsund Resort. Very good organised, wonderfully clean and with the best staff! They have all type of activities you can imagine! If you think coming here don’t think it twice this place is paradise.

A really nice resort. Nice crew and newly renovated cabins. The breakfast was also very good! We had a fantastic weekend here, and I highly recomend this place for long or short stays. They even have a floating Sauna which in combination with a refreshing dip in the fjord, was a perfect start of our relaxing stay.

It was annoying that we should pay higher amount of money for this 5 star camping and we choosed to have electricity included -and then we still needed to pay 30kr for shower using a QR code and credit card. We had an amazing day at sea because of the great help we got at tregde ferie center! Caught lots of fish and he even let us lend his own knife for fileting the fish!!!
