Hotels in Roros

The hotel was nice. It is a rather big hotel mostly catering for local people ( Norwegian and Swedish). The breakfast was great, the pool was also very nice. Drawbacks: no hot water kettle in the rooms. The toilet seat was very low, so difficult for my mum to get up from the seat on her own.

Always in my heart Always good to be at this hotel, nice lounge with open fire and good food. The pool and spa is beautiful, topped by the outdoor hot pool with view of the old church. The room was clean a modern style, but very dark colors and cold feeling with no pictures or contrast colors. Not an inviting place to sit

Fun stay in a charming town Wonderful hotel and breakfasts. We really enjoyed the large pool in a beautiful setting. About 15 minutes to Roros, which is a charming little town to stroll through the shops. The shop keepers are friendly and fun. The room was comfortable with a view of the mountains.

Roros itself is a strange but nice little town. A World Heritage site but not for ‘prettiness’! The hotel is located on the outskirts but is an easy 15min walk into the centre. There appeared to be a modern wing - the hotel is pretty big (although only 2 or 3 stories) and sprawling - we were in an old wing so the room (for me, my wife and 15yr old son) was tired and a tad old fashioned. The hotel has a great location, close to the mines and church, and the surrounding environment is beautiful. The rooms are a bit small.

The people at check in: very nice & spoke English. Restaurant staff were great!!! Especially “ Bartek”. Hotel is close to all things in Roros: shops, restaurants and the Roros church + all the historic mining buildings and the train station!

Excellent massage thanks to Monica and her empathetic hands. Nice spa (extra fee, but included when you book a massage) and rich breakfast. The room (under the roof - beautiful view) was a little bit small, but clean with a very comfortable bed. Restaurant is highly recommendable.

A first class Hotel with very friendly host. the timber wall building was from 1860, with cozy interior and a huge open fire place ' Peis' in the dining room. still the buildings are top modern with all facilities and each room has its own history. I want to return to this place winter time. Can be highly recommended!

Very nice hotel - I stayed in the 4th floor which I think is the newest part of the hotel. Impressed by the local history they have on each room and also a lot of old pictures in the hallways. Food they served in the restaurant was very very good. I had the local waffle for starter and the mouse-hamburger and it all tasted very very good 😊
