Trondheim, Brattørkaia 1 (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Great hotell in the harbour. 10 min walk to centre of the town. Good value for money. Good breakfast indeed.
We arrived at the hotel when our cruise ship made a stop here. A 10 min walk from the berth. It was a large hotel with a conference hall. Our room was really nice and faced the sea. We did not try the breakfast as we left early for the train station in the morning - which was also within walking distance.
Hotel room is spacious for our family. Breakfast spread was superb and service was top notch.
Only issue is the bad drainage in the bathroom. Easily clogged and flood the toilet.
Highly recommend this hotel. It's conveniently located right next to a supermarket, within walking distance of the city center, and close to all the major attractions. You can also enjoy beautiful sunsets from the hotel's rooftop. The breakfast is excellent and provides great value for money. While it offers underground parking, the fee is a bit steep.
Overall, it was okay, but parking was inconvenient, and the service wasn't great.
Very impressive modern hotel, which o erloojs basic, essential needs. The parking is a big issue, as you are charged for 24 hrs, regardless! Very tiny windows in the room. We were unable to get a fan for the room, yet there were 2 on the reception desk for staff.
Apart from that, the room was comfortable, the breakfast was excellent. Checkin and out were quick.

🥰
Trivelig opphold, god mat og stille og rolig.
Unfortunately there were a lot of conferences going on in the hotel. We had a room on the far side of the hotel where we had to navigate stairs and a long walk past the many meeting rooms and people at the meetings, also on the Saturday night there was a night conference/party with food and champagne and music which became noisy on the evening. We always stay here but next time this hotel will not...
Asked for extra face towel and never got one.
Fantastic!
Fantastic breakfast. Wonderful people.
There is no parking at the hotel and it is difficult to find the hotel lobby to unload baggages. Very inconvenient and have to incur extra cost to park your car!
Great hotel with good location.
Nice hotel location and clean. Room was nice with seaview but close to trainrail so quite noisy. The brakefast and lunch here was absolutely lovely witha great variaty of food. The brakefast made the rate higher :)

Trondheim, Kjopmannsgata 73 (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Centrally located hotel which is clean and comfortable. Central train station and an airport bus stop are close by. Good breakfast spread too.
Ultra modern hotel, spacious, quiet, water views. Great room and beds! Would return!
The location is great, very central. The breakfast was quite refined, and the selection was decent. My only issue was that housekeeping didn't replenish the toiletries.
The hotel is fantastic! Our room offered a lovely canal view, and it was well-equipped with amenities like an iron, an electric kettle, and complimentary tea bags. While its exterior blends with traditional local architecture, the interior is surprisingly modern. It also appears to have a hot spring bath.
The room was spotless. The hotel's Chinese name, Jinjiang Fandian, sounded quite welcoming. Breakfast was also very good. Service, however, was just okay. Overall, it was a decent stay, and the location was great.
As a Radisson VIP member, I had high expectations for my stay, but was left disappointed by the hotel’s service. While the hotel itself is satisfactory, the staff’s handling of a simple situation fell far short of what I would expect from a reputable brand.
In our room, there was a box of candies placed at a child’s eye level. Naturally, my young son assumed it was a complimentary treat and started...

Good location!
Friendly and kind staff!
Gorgeous breakfast!
Nothing to complain and I recommend this hotel!
We were given a room for folks with disabilities for our first night. The shower felt like a hospital bathroom. The shower curtain was stained. They did offer a regular room for the Sunday night and kindly moved our things for us. The staff were apologetic but unable to provide the proper room for the first night.
Central location is walkable to all the major attractions. The accommodations are overall comfortable. There was a heat wave when we were there and unfortunately, the hotel did not have enough fans for the guests. We were given a very weak vertical fan, which was better than nothing. Breakfast was really good!
Spent a night there in the July month.
The room had good air at day, but at night it seems they turn down the air so we were sweating without the covers on in bed.

Outdated room. Moldy and dirty bathroom. Didn't feel very comfortable there.
The location was good and we liked the kitchen that we could use ( was very good equiped and mostly clean).
My room was quite worn down. This was quite noticeable when I used the bathroom. The bed was awesome. I slept very well. I even got a mini fridge! The room was quite clean. The hotel is within walking distance to several attractions and the train station. I did not use the shared kitchen or washing room.
Rommet jeg fikk var ganske slitt. Dette var spesielt tydelig på badet. Senga var fantastisk. Jeg...
The room was ok, nice and spacious. It’s a good place when you are on a budget as you are in the city center, the room is comfortable and you have a kitchen if you wanna cook. Valentina at the front desk was great and very helpful and you have a storage room to leave your luggage after check out. As constructive feedback, the common spaces can use an update and it would be great if the hotel can provide...
Great personell. They were friendly, helpful and expedient. Excellent location. Room was well kept and showed minimal signs of wear and tear. Bed was comfortable to sleep in, wifi was serviceable. View into the yard wasn't the greatest but this also meant my room was shielded from traffic noise. Overall I had a great stay, recommended.
Helpful and friendly staff. Well located. Has all necessities to stay comfortably.
The english speaking reeptionist was not very service minded.

This was our second time staying at the Britannia, and we enjoy the hotel very much. The service is top-notch and the hotel is located very convenient to shopping and dining. Two things of note - the breakfast is run like a "fine dining" experience, with many staff hovering, and that is not needed - it is a breakfast buffet, show us to our table, serve coffee, and then leave the diners alone. Our...
You won’t find a better hotel in all of Norway. This is the place to stay at. The food, steak house, spa, all amazing.
A royal five-star hotel in Norway, offering impeccable, regal service. The only area for improvement was the desserts at the Michelin-starred restaurant; however, the other food was quite good.
Very nice hotel and in a nice location. Unfortunately we were there over Christmas and the entire city was closed.
The hotel is very beautiful, 5 minutes walk from the Nieder River. The morning is very rich, the bed linen is high, the British service is of good quality. It should be the best hotel in Trondheim.
Old money aristocratic style, exquisite breakfast, this is the most surprising hotel in the trip to Norway
