Employees were super friendly with welcome drinks. Bunk beds are always the same in Scandic for kids. Breakfast is always delicious in Scandic. One thing that was non sense was the parking fee

It costs 450 nok for one night. Had I known this in the beginning, I would have consider airbnb also. I know it is Norway so parking fee is expansive but this parking fee is out of line

While you can watch live sports in the room, it's not very large, and housekeeping is only provided upon request.

The location is great, very central. The breakfast was quite refined, and the selection was decent. My only issue was that housekeeping didn't replenish the toiletries.

The location is in the center of Trondheim and next to the riverfront. You can get on Flybus from Værnes airport and stop near the hotel. Or if you come from the central station , you can walk to the hotel in 10 mins

Centrally located hotel which is clean and comfortable. Central train station and an airport bus stop are close by. Good breakfast spread too.

The room was spotless. The hotel's Chinese name, Jinjiang Fandian, sounded quite welcoming. Breakfast was also very good. Service, however, was just okay. Overall, it was a decent stay, and the location was great.

I stayed with my wife and 15yr old son in a family room - he had a mezzanine style bunk bed above our bed which was pretty cool. Bathroom, shower and room was modern and v clean

A royal five-star hotel in Norway, offering impeccable, regal service. The only area for improvement was the desserts at the Michelin-starred restaurant; however, the other food was quite good.

You won’t find a better hotel in all of Norway. This is the place to stay at. The food, steak house, spa, all amazing.

Two things of note - the breakfast is run like a "fine dining" experience, with many staff hovering, and that is not needed - it is a breakfast buffet, show us to our table, serve coffee, and then leave the diners alone

I've had better Wifi at a small-town Holiday Inn in the U. The Britannia should have an IT staff available 24/7 to fix any Wifi issues at the prices that you charge. Come on, you can do better than that!

Great overall Amazing breakfast spread (massive and delicious with so many options). Room was of good quality, but not a great location if you have a car. The recommended public lot is a disaster

This is the chain hotel I stayed at in the Model Hotel. The rooms are slightly smaller than the Model Hotel's. Good location, clean and hygienic, and a good breakfast. Free parking. Highly recommended.

Great hotel. Good breakfast. The downside of our room (and not mentioned beforehand) was that the window faced the interior. So if you opened it, you were exposed to all the noise from the lobby.

The breakfast was very good, but it had its drawbacks (it didn't have more than one type of coffee, and it didn't have fried eggs, as usual). Personally, I liked the various cornflakes (with milk)

Central location is walkable to all the major attractions. The accommodations are overall comfortable. There was a heat wave when we were there and unfortunately, the hotel did not have enough fans for the guests

Well located with its own free parking space. Rooms are not very big, but the hotel is cost-effective. Service was good/super nice and friendly. Breakfast was included and very good. Overall, I can recommend the hotel.

The hotel is located on the pedestrian embankment. There is a parking lot for visitors. The reception is open 24 hours, you can register yourself at the automatic desk

Problems with air conditioning. Room change. The facility is located in a very nice place. About 10-15 minutes to the train station on foot.

The location was at the exact centre of the city, with a 5-minute walk to Trondheim sentrum station. Brilliant service with complimentary breakfast. Tommy, who was at the desk, was superb, friendly, and so helpful

We loved the location near public transport and historic sites to visit in an easily walkable town center. The room, however was hot and stuffy with windows closed and cooler but very noisy with windows open.

The room was dowdy but clean and comfortable, with a spacious bathroom and good shower and a well-stocked kitchenette. Like almost everywhere we stayed in the country, only one of us had a bedside table and reading lamp

The front desk staff were pleasant and helpful. They let us stack our luggage in a corner of the small reception while sight-seeing on our last day. Tea and coffee machines are in the reception

Outdated room. Moldy and dirty bathroom. Didn't feel very comfortable there. The location was good and we liked the kitchen that we could use ( was very good equiped and mostly clean).

Paid for 2 nights but not staying for the second night because I am catching the overnight train to Bodo

Stayed here for two nights due to a competitive examination (music) on a university nearby. Overall: I got what I expected. During my stay, I needed a room to practice on my instrument

Apparently this hotel is primarily used as patient accommodation for families but when room is available tourists can stay

The person in the reception was helpful, and have me a meeting room to practice in for no extra charge. The breakfast could be better, but did the job ++. The TV in the room didn't quite work, but it was not a big deal

Simple access to the hospital. The rooms are convenient, if a bit small. The breakfast is very mediocre so don't expect anything sensational. Worth it if you have business at the hospital
